- Sauwan, on 10/10/2007, -5/+299Damn, I could only differentiate 14,284,927 of them.
- trghpy, on 10/10/2007, -4/+280I must be human, i only see a couple dozen colors in a nifty lill pattern.
- twrife, on 10/10/2007, -4/+250I would definitely have to say that 9,824,376 was my favorite.
- jffrynpmr, on 10/10/2007, -2/+128I just created an account so I could dig this comment down.
- floppyparty, on 10/10/2007, -2/+105Every time i reread this comment, it makes less sense.
- krakhed, on 10/10/2007, -15/+109Wow a color scale! Buried as lame.
- hambend, on 10/10/2007, -7/+100This must be the single most inane thing I have ever seen on digg. Behold, colours!
- DiggsOnlyNeoCon, on 10/10/2007, -3/+93Uhhh....
- baldr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+80Technically, unless you have a monitor that is capable of displaying 4096x4096 and a connection to the monitor that has enough throughput for a 4096x4096 image (which I don't think VGA does), you can't see all 16,777,216 colors at once (because each pixel isn't being shown).
- Birdoftruth, on 10/10/2007, -2/+64that was a really stupid coment
- Wartz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+51I think you're trying too hard.
- thetanman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+50What...the...*****.
- givinupthefight, on 10/10/2007, -2/+35Are you drunk dude?
- lordthor, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33best (action) ever.
- burkay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30Wow, I am amazed that you gave it a second chance. I couldn't finish it for the first time.
- scott12087, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29Has Crayola reached that many different colored crayons yet?
- Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29Humans can see colors a typical LCD/CRT monitor can't represent though, as it's limited part technically and part by the RGB color model.

The grey areas there can all be seen by a human eye. Here's all the colors that can be seen, approximated for display on monitors:

However, an eye may obviously have a harder time distinguishing between very close hues, which is completely different colors to a computer. - DrDabbles, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28Blocked. Because let's face it. We need far fewer dorks in the world and far more nerds.
- ChromaVita, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27Welcome to digg.
- stevenmu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26Somebody should start a poll, with an entry for each and every colour so we can determine once and for all what Digg'd favourite colour is.
- twisterrust, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26So what are we looking at? i can only see a lot of Red, a lot of Blue, some green , some orange and some yellow.... damn it is only 5 colors
- s1ade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24The Amiga demo scene is back!
- lilbitmoreslyk, on 10/10/2007, -10/+34mesmerizing...psychedelic...
@twrife: 9,824,376 was great - Jeeum, on 10/10/2007, -2/+25I don't know...Paris Hilton has been on the front page a lot lately.
- MrSketch, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24I'm guessing it would be one of these:
1,337
31,337
13,373,1337
42 - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24Are you sure it's DIGGies in your pouch? Pouch of Personal & Precious DIGGies = -1 Digg
- robfitzonbass, on 10/10/2007, -3/+21youre on drugs
- GMorgan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Shouldn't be that hard. Just auto generate a drop down list. Of course you may need more RAM.
- Error601, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16A color site make the top of the front page? The internet must be running low on interesting stuff.
- DeathGod321, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17They should have put a goatse near the bottom.
You know you have mean friends when you expect something like that from a website like this. - fpcyber, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14I'm dizzy.
- neshcom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Wow. In the time you wrote that, you could've gotten a life.
- Bobbler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Hmmm, maybe its because I am male but I can only make out red, green, blue, orange and possibly a yellow.
The missus tells me that there are these colours called "Teal", "Apple", "Goldenrod" but I just see blue, green and yellow there.
:D - mglmouser, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Yeah. I could relate.
I'm partially color-blind with difficulty to differentiate yellow from white.
If I stare the center of the screen and rapidly scroll to the bottom, all I see is a green band fading vertically to yellow. it's only after a while that the left-to-right fading to blue becomes obvious.
I dont need drugs. I'll be scrolling this all day now. - jotate, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11". . . do i digg this story? or do i not digg this story? i do like french fries and that's worth a digg (+1). i like pictures and like there's a picture of the "freedom fries" oops I meant "french fries", so that's worth a digg (+1). then the article says something about an "eff-bomb" --- eeeeeew -- like what-ev-er that is, it sounds scary so no digg (-1). there's something about a "kiss" -- aaaaaaaaah kissing, that is soooooo romantic -- kissing is always worth a digg (+1), but there's like something funny about that "kiss" so no digg (-1). oh it is soooo kewl to see all the words beginning with "F" -- "Fascist" & "Fries" & "Freedom" & "French", but like didn't the whole "Fascist" style go out like last century(?!?!?!) -- that's way too retro, so no digg (-1). but the "F" words were so cleverly used and that's gotta be worth something, right? oh yeah, of course it's like giving partial credit on the homework! kewl! i'll give it a little diggy, like +0.5. wow writing this down really does help. okay so let me add this up: (+1) + (+1) + (-1) + (+1) + (-1) + (-1) + (+0.5) = +0.5 kewl! the story gets a +0.5 DIGG. so lets.........WHAT??? you can't give a story a fractional DIGG. oh no! like, where am I going to find another +0.5 DIGG?"
^That^ is his most dugg down comment ever. It would seem that about every 2 months, he just gets bored and *that* happens. More impressive is that vroom101 has over 1300 digg comments. Kudos to that.
http://www.neaveru.com/digg/index.html - xpose, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Somehow I feel as though I was letdown :(
- Devrdander, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10or use a java applet that lets you click on a pixel and it can record the coords and then you could do a scatter graph
- Ascendant, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Yes, that's why I marked this as inaccurate. It should say, 16,777,214 colors plus the absence of color and the combination of all colors.
- blorc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Description made me think:
THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS! - etandrib, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I'm pretty sure it is "DIGG blue"

- Typhoon2009, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I don't see Tickle Me Pink on there...
- archd3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7they're working on it. 16,777,216 different names are hard to come up with.
purply-blue-plum-orchid and so forth... - thorb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7You have a diggie pouch?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7haha loser. Its a schooner.
- spyrochaete, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Burnt Sienna Jr.
- Lancer383, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Technically, I can. I can just print them out on ginormous paper at a resolution that wouldn't condense them or make them bleed together.
