- OpCzar, on 04/13/2008, -2/+37People are easily impressed.
- Hayaemsay, on 04/14/2008, -0/+7The submitter shouted it to a lot of people.
- neuromachine, on 04/14/2008, -3/+10What's so special about this photo?
- abtarhar, on 04/14/2008, -3/+9It is also very easily photoshopped. Now explain why this is on digg.
- ChromaVita, on 04/14/2008, -1/+4Yes, this is a good photo, but the idea has been done before, and probably better. It's not really anything amazing, and especially not anything news worthy. If anything it should be front page of DeviantArt, not Digg.
- Flawed77, on 04/14/2008, -0/+2I was wondering that myself. Maybe I just don't get photography...
- inactive, on 04/14/2008, -0/+2No, that is *****.
- borninda818, on 04/14/2008, -0/+2This is true but that doesn't mean it is. The angle and lighting seem right to me, I have no reason to believe it's PSd. Thus I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and assuming it's not manipulated.
- rdw1809, on 04/14/2008, -1/+3I think this is a beautiful photograph, what in the hell else matters.
- rdw1809, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1Hmm.... this is true but who cares?
- Shawshanksr, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1obvious?
- keyo, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1nice crop
- smacksaw, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1The sharpness is all wrong on the upper body half.
- borninda818, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1Hmm...you have a point. A good concept nonetheless.
- DeathJux, on 04/14/2008, -2/+3I really hope Digg either stops being a cesspool of behind-the-scenes "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" nonsense, or some other juggernaut rises out of the ether to usurp it.
I mean, this picture isn't bad, but there's no way it got this much attention without a hidden circle-jerk. These sort of submissions are all over the place lately. - TrevaLVF, on 04/16/2008, -0/+1I've done some water reflection pictures myself. There's something about capturing those reflections either on a mirror surface, or with a cool wave, or ripple pattern that appeals to me.
That's a really nice mirror finish in the picture. The patterns on the wet surface add to the mood and are additional points of interest. - willk281, on 04/14/2008, -1/+1chopping kids in half is wrong. Kucinich '08!
- doctorfungi, on 04/14/2008, -1/+1Nice photo. That being said though, why the ***** is this even on digg?
- CarlosTn1, on 04/14/2008, -1/+1way kool
- woofers07, on 04/14/2008, -1/+1interesting how [easily] the cropping tool can make a photo so dynamic
- travis6690, on 04/14/2008, -2/+2Maybe photoshopped? Both the kid's feet and reflection are in sharp focus, but the ground in between is not... may be a trick of the reflection, but doesn't look realistic.
- ChromaVita, on 04/14/2008, -1/+1They are the same distance away. The reflection of the kids face is just as far away from the camera as his feet are.
- amanilaenvelope, on 04/14/2008, -2/+1kid looks like calvin from "calvin and hobbes" comic strip
- Apoy, on 04/14/2008, -2/+1I like the image hosting site.
- smacksaw, on 04/14/2008, -3/+1If there's any justice this will expire before it's 24 hours are up and it makes the front page. There's at least 6 similar articles about Obama/bittergate that would be better than this.
- Sucka27, on 04/14/2008, -3/+1Like comments on digg?
- Estina54, on 04/13/2008, -10/+7Nice picture. This is art.
- plup, on 04/14/2008, -5/+2Jesus, *****, what difference does it make if it's photoshoped or photo itself isn't too hard to take? It's a nice scene, why don't you people just enjoy then move on? I really think you people actually look for something to complain about and that's not healthy.
- charliewade, on 04/13/2008, -9/+6Love the picture ;-)
- Bamshackle, on 04/13/2008, -10/+6That is really awesome! I wish I could take a picture like this. Great job.
