- jacksonputer, on 06/25/2008, -0/+10I know for a fact there's a company that's outsourced by AT&T Marketing that made this video.
- Mononuclear, on 06/25/2008, -3/+1Are you the person from reddit with the same comment or did you just steal it?
BTW I agree this is incredibly fake and could be a viral marketing video. Even if it's not a viral add it is still fake.- wertwwwww, on 06/25/2008, -0/+5Shhhhhh. We don't speak of that "other" site on Digg.
- Mononuclear, on 06/25/2008, -3/+1Are you the person from reddit with the same comment or did you just steal it?
- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -0/+6Some of the more sophisticated gates have pressure censors.
- stewartgorman, on 06/25/2008, -0/+2The less suppressive ones have pressure sensors.
- sterntastic223, on 06/25/2008, -2/+3That's not hacking. I do that in my sleep.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1So how's life as a coke can?

- vandy, on 06/25/2008, -2/+3So he is using an aluminum can to trip a magnetic switch? Highly likely. If the can is filled with iron.

- InfamousAtheist, on 06/25/2008, -0/+4You can trick gates with weight sensors easily too.
To get into my parking garage, all you have to do is pull up to the exit gate (from outside), let it sense your car, back up to allow the gate to swing open, and drive right in.
So much for secure parking! - Branchex, on 06/25/2008, -0/+7The iPhone 3G would not work with this trick, the back is plastic not metal.
- emiller, on 06/25/2008, -0/+4Dug for Cypress Hill.
- hphickman, on 06/25/2008, -2/+4Buried as 5MIN SPAM.
- doritostapatio, on 06/25/2008, -1/+2They caged us in high school like animals and had an electronic fence for buses and we would leave early using this technique and a trashcan lid.
- cerealjynx, on 06/25/2008, -0/+3You'll have an easier time hacking it with telekinesis.
I wonder how many AA batteries that coke can has secretly stashed in it?! - PoopStick, on 06/25/2008, -2/+2Lame
- dpcamp, on 06/25/2008, -0/+2l33t h4xors 5kill5!!!!
- Shagmire, on 06/25/2008, -0/+11I used to work as a valet while in college and every garage worked pretty much the same. So if you really want to beat/hack/escape the parking garage without any fee you only need to do one simple thing.
Here goes:
When you enter an automated garage you receive a ticket that calculates the time your car has spent there. But during the first 15 minutes in acquiring that ticket the 'timer' has not started yet. This is a precautionary measure just in case the lot is full and you need to exit - without being charged. So, when you come back to the lot after a night of fun just grab a new ticket, run to your car, and get the F outta there in under 15 minutes and your golden.
It works where I park, every time.- litheon, on 06/25/2008, -0/+2That's genius.
- Shagmire, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1Well, since we're talking about parking, I've got one more for ya.
Get a parking ticket, just one, and keep it for the rest of your life. Because after you pay that $25 fee online you've just gained access to parking anywhere in your respective city.
See, most parking authority personnel are stupid, and frankly, write too many damn tickets to keep track. That and they have more than 1 person covering a city block. So, you take that ticket you kept, your 'golden ticket,' and place that ***** under a windshield wiper and your good to park in any handicapped, fire zone, metered, or tow away spot your city has to offer.
I can't be the only one who has been doing these things for 8 years......- ryan83189, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1I have been triple ticketed, 75 bucks, all in the same 2 hours.
- Tenetri, on 06/25/2008, -0/+5How was a Non-magneic pop can, generating a magnetic field?
He must have put a magnet in it... although he didn't say it...
Makes me think its fake...Well done, if it is- OpCzar, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1True, aluminum isn't magnetic. What gives?
- ryan83189, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1Aluminum can be detected by metal detectors, very well. Soda can tabs have a large signature.
- rufusdog, on 06/25/2008, -0/+2This video may very well be fake: To set off these sensors you either need a large mass of ferrous metal (like a car) or a strong magnet. Ask any motorcyclist and they will tell you how hard it is to set off the red-light sensors when they are the only vehicle stopped at a red-light. Several of my friends who ride street-bikes put a hard-drive magnet on the underside of their bike just so they can activate these type of sensors. There are companies that sell powerful magnets to bicycle commuters and street bikers for this very purpose.
- wontstoptalking, on 06/25/2008, -0/+2The iPhone can do ANYTHING!!
