- edrift101, on 10/12/2007, -3/+141I'd tip them extra.
- satost, on 10/12/2007, -5/+111Good job for those waitresses.
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -2/+89You'll make sure of that, won't you jstohler?

I think you're missing a "stones" at the end of that quote. As far as I know, urologists try to avoid pulverizing kidneys. Kidney stones, on the other hand, they do pulverize. - mrharvey518, on 10/12/2007, -12/+55How lucky is this girl that those waitresses caught him doing it the first time? When I go to bars, after you get a drink I get ignored until I need a new drink. Good for them though. And as a side note, I hope this guy gets raped in prison.

- ne0shell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Trust me, some guys couldn't get laid throwing 100$ bills in a crack house. Even whores have a "creepy" limit and this guy was way over....
AND he's employed in the public school system? Never ***** guessed - osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28Narcotic charges? How about pre-meditated rape?
- Kikinou, on 10/12/2007, -11/+37@batmanjr :
Revenge through torture is not going to right the wrong that has been committed. There is never any situation where torture is appropriate. It is an evil that must be eradicated. Imprisonment is punishment enough. - sarahes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24this is why when youre at a bar you take your drink with you no matter where you go...even if it is a first date.
- Afreyt, on 10/12/2007, -4/+27dugg up for pure unadulterated jutzpah.
"I admit to the slaying of both my parents and I throw myself on the mercy of the court. Please go easy on me, for I... I am an orphan." - TuxNuts, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25When I read about scumbags like this, I lose a little bit of faith in humanity. Luckily there are people like these two waitresses to help restore it a bit.
- Kikinou, on 10/12/2007, -11/+31Prison ought to suffice. Rape is cruel and unusual punishment. What if YOU made a mistake and ended up in jail, how would you feel then? Could happen to any of us on any given day. This guy is a total dirtbag, granted, but still, we are supposed to be a humane society. There's nothing pleasant about being locked up, it's punishment enough.
- ussr2003, on 10/12/2007, -4/+23I completely understand what you're saying and what he did was wrong but Death Sentence/Life... C'mon.
I'm sorry but -1. - iamnos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Now someone just needs to give his cellmate some of those same narcotics.
- sputza, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21I will never understand why a man needs to drug or pay a woman to have sex with them. There are sluts everywhere that with little to no effort a guy can take them home.
- jstohler, on 10/12/2007, -10/+25Oh, he will. He will.
- Kikinou, on 10/12/2007, -8/+23That is true, yes, but still, to call for his torture is barbaric. Depriving him of his freedom is punishment enough.
- arnaudh, on 10/12/2007, -7/+22@inspecality: waitresses and bartenders pay taxes on their estimated tips. Look it up, cheap date.
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15What a great story! Well written too!
What's the moral of this story? The next time you see some doing something wrong, don't shrug it off - act! - ne0shell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I can only hope this dude has a future appointment with a fat girl packing RapeX......
- luvlyssa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15And you only get a drink that comes in a bottle... You never know who is going to screw with it. That girl was being watched over.
- Kikinou, on 10/12/2007, -26/+40@InfamousAtheist :
Being locked up is punishment enough - we ought not hope for this man to be tortured at the hands of other prisoners. Our prisons aren't supposed to be like Guantanamo Bay. - djbelieve, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19@mikefitz2:
You are pathetic. And perhaps even a sick f*ck. It's your own fault you can't get laid... - DeskFlyer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Isn't it less risky trying to get a woman to sleep with you simply by treating them like *****?
Works for every guy I've seen thus far. - batmanjr, on 10/12/2007, -17/+27@Kikinou
If it was your sister he was pulling that crap with, I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune. - shampoovta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10 This dick only got a year!!!!. 6 months of it was suspended ????
I'll be looking for him to succeeds in date rape 2 ( The quest to be come a sex offender). It will be hitting the news stands in about 6 months. Look for it! - catalysis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I have no pity for rapists. Its easily the worst crime next to murder and sentences for rape in the US are far, far to light. The article states that he will serve only 6 months in prison, most likely in a minimum security place. Our society, and most around the world, still do not recognize the severity of the crime. Its a remnant of patriarchal societies.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Why do people always use the "if it were your *Insert family member here* you'd want to torture him too" arguement. Since when have we ever allowed people with a conflict of interest to pass judgement on another person. What the family thinks is irelevent and only tends to misinterpret the facts. The fact is a date rapist does diserve jail time but does not deserve to be tourtured, raped or otherwise humilated. No matter how much the family of the victim hates him.
If we start passing judgement based on what family members want then punishments will be way too severe according to their crime and justice will not be served in a civilized matter. So stop using the "if it were your *Insert family member here* you'd want to torture him too" arguement. It makes no sense with our justice system and only serves to make you sound like an *****. - Drakoola, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10He's only in there until may? Anybody who is messed up enough to consider this a good idea should get at least a year if not 3.
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10In other news, hundreds, if not thousands, of men, women, and children are murdered by criminals or slain in wars every day.
- deviouskoopa, on 10/12/2007, -15/+23Digg me down, but I don't see how posting something as empty-minded as "Good job for those waitresses" can get so much support from everyone. Maybe I'm just tired of seeing it every single time there's a story with some dirty criminal and/or pitiable victim.
- InMSWeAntitrust, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7And in other other news, billions of people have uneventful days today, resulting in more peace around the world
- tb0n3r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"but as there was no direct evidence for them"
Direct evidence: 2 eyewitnesses saw him the first time, 1 eyewitness saw him the second time.
Indirect evidence: The residue in the beers that the waitresses saved for the police. The testimony of the doctor that says that pretty much the only reason to put the drug in the beer is to date rape.
When the indirect evidence is supported by direct evidence, I'd say they have more than enough "EVIDENTIARY SUPPORT" for a jury to determine his intent.
Or were you just throwing out 6 dollar words? - fcekuahd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+86 months and 6 months suspended is too little for this crime. This guy was planning a rape, no question about it. He should do the time for attempted rape.
I agree with @Kikinou. Nobody should get raped in prison. And especially not someone who is going to be released some day. Guilty or not, imagine the rage you would feel toward the world that subjected you to those conditions. People who are victimized like this in prison will come out and do even more violent crimes. - arnaudh, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Easy now, armchair marshall.
- masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13Wow, I get dugg down because I tip the waiter cash so they don't get taxed on the tip? I bet the Digg haters that dugg me down are the cheap bastards that tip 15% on the dot, if even.
I usually like to tip anywhere between 18%-25%. I even tipped 50% one time, but that was at a restaurant post 9/11 near the WTC area, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. - SpectralSounds, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8"Lynn Parrish, the spokeswoman for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, agreed: "I don't remember hearing another story like this," she said. "They're heroes in my book.""
Im sure if she is the spokesowman for the Incest National Network.... shes heard some pretty crazy stories in the past. - squoob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The whole point of this article is that the guy is a *****. The women ruled the night and protected another. What happens to this guy in prison is neither here nor there. He should be in there longer because of his future career as a serial date raper. People like this are not going to stop because they spent 6 months in prison. Huge praises to the waitress and bartender.
This has nothing to do with how well @antieree thinks prisoners are treated. Never mind there are some innocent people in jail too. Or that are in jail for non-violent, victimless pot "crimes." All of this has nothing to do with this subject. - Pilot85, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10@mikefitz2:
If you had some kind of charm or appeal maybe chicks would "put out". - mozzep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5can I buy you a drink?
- bigtizzle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Dugg down for not recognizing an Office quote.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7duh?
- Louis11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5This is when I wish there where some actual 'Boondock Saints'...
- Y0tsuya, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Look on the bright side. He'll probably be fired from his current job. As a convicted felon on the sex offender list he'll probably have difficulty finding employment for a good long while, and be hounded by neighbors wherever he goes.
- civperc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6people like that should BURN. what a disgusting existence. someone should drug and rape HIM.
- dkm201, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Officer travix2 is on the case, everyone. No need to panic.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"...Joseph Szlamnik, at the time a 43- year-old senior management assistant for the San Francisco Unified School District."
Now you know what teachers do when they are not having sex with students.
A 6 month sentence for an attempted aggravated rape? God bless progressive SF judges! - batmanjr, on 10/12/2007, -11/+15@Kikinou
You're wrong. An accident or mistake is when you unknowingly cause something to happen. This bastard PLANNED this multiple times. It is no mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. -
