Frontpage had a tendency of looking nothing in a browser like it did in the program (even in IE with servers that supported "Frontpage extensions"). So What you saw wasn't what you got, usually ending in something like WTF. Hence the joke WYSIWTF

Think of installing a windshield in a car. Using, for example, dreamweaver is like using all the proper tools and then installing it without a scratch.
