- MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -18/+443I've always said "Don't expose your snake around school children"
- StephanieF, on 10/10/2007, -12/+432If the father said, "This is why I don't take you anywhere" then the child has obviously done something this outrageous before. I think he needs to seek therapy immediately because if a child is killing animals there is obviously something that needs to be addressed.
- HCviolence, on 10/10/2007, -13/+385When asked why he killed the snake the boy simply answered
"I like turtles" - monkeycatDx, on 10/10/2007, -13/+294*****! This is why i hate dip ***** kids.
- triska, on 10/10/2007, -4/+232In the early 1990s when I was in college, a buddy of mine, Rick, had a pet hamster he adored. Great little pet, who'd always come up to us for food, and hoard it. Just an innocent small creature.
Three of us headed back to his place early on a friday night, none of us really up for drinking and being anywhere but lazing, and we caught Rick's little brother (he was 12 years old at the time) torturing the hamster. He'd cut it until it bled, and broken one of its legs, twisting it around backwards. Rick, me, and our friend Matt thankfully got ChiChi (the hamster) alive to safety, and were just stunned at what this 12 year old kid was doing to a creature that did nothing but bring pleasure to the rest of us.
We were all there just yelling at Rick's little brother, who pulled the "I wasn't doing anything, it was like that when I came in"... we stared at him, aghast, then he pulled the attitude *****, and came out with some crap like "It's just a ***** hamster".
Matt, the biggest of us, a massive 6'5" canadian just stood up and punched Rick's little brother in the head, hard. I don't think I've felt any kind of satisfaction more than that moment, even though it was a 22 year old guy who'd weigh a fit 220lbs against a tiny 12 year old.
Rick's little brother didn't dare tell anyone what happened, ChiChi went to a vet who straightened her leg and fixed the cuts (and also thought the little brother got what he deserved) and went on to live another two and a half years. A good age for a hamster.
I wish Matt had been there to punch this kid in the head too. - hawkspur, on 10/10/2007, -4/+185As a snake owner in the past this is especially heinous. A snake is a pet just like a dog, and if someone did that to a dog it would be incredibly serious.
- LonesomeFighter, on 10/10/2007, -4/+178I hate snakes too, but now i want to stomp my foot on this boys face.
- TalkingBanana, on 10/10/2007, -3/+167RIP Popcorn
- Akaji, on 10/10/2007, -4/+159Or, you know, just have a parent who knows how to... parent.
- pixelate, on 10/10/2007, -3/+143I have had it with these ***** kids during this ***** presentation
- DatoeDakari, on 10/10/2007, -5/+143Little bastard
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+149Future Michael Vick?
- nreynolds, on 10/10/2007, -4/+103Snake? SSSNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKEEEE!!!!!!!!!
- N080dy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+91I think a good enough indicator of the guy's parenting ability is that rather than at least apologize for his son's actions or do something to help the snake owner recover, he just grabs his son and runs.
- schrutefan, on 10/10/2007, -4/+90Serial killers are so cute when they're young.
- hawkspur, on 10/10/2007, -2/+78Yeah...
Probably the little kid who just killed a man's pet for no other reason than because he didn't like it. - reeder, on 10/10/2007, -11/+80And the cycle of abuse continues.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+68Looks like that kid is a bully. Next time show him a poisonous snake. It will be fun.
- TaylorSmythe, on 10/10/2007, -5/+66Reading this article made me feel sick to my stomach. Poor snake!
- BillyNeverDies, on 10/10/2007, -1/+54I had a pet boa for about 8 years. This really pisses me off.
- roastedbagel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+52So he didn't go after the kid and the parent?? I would've ran up and grabbed the kid and/or father until authorities came...
- Tomoose, on 10/10/2007, -4/+55Stomped it such an emotive word.
I wish I could have been there, as someone before me said, I would have beat the ***** out of this kid. Seriously, I do not give 2 ***** about what bringing up this child has had, and his parents obviously are not completly adhorrent as they can see that this is NOT good bahaviour.
***** therapy this kid needs a good slapping. - Snorglorf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+48Even if he wasn't my kid.
- savingaurora, on 10/10/2007, -9/+57therapy... a good dose of old therapy may work. A beating like I got when i was younger. I'm not all for child abuse but man... some kids just need it
- roastedbagel, on 10/10/2007, -2/+48Dugg for the word heinous
- bluemansteele, on 10/10/2007, -1/+47out of all the comments regarding better parenting or beating the child.. I choose "show him a poisonous snake".
- stklaw, on 10/10/2007, -3/+48Matt should have broke his leg and gave him a few cuts too.
It's just a ***** dumbass. - themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -3/+46Lets ***** find that kid and stomp on his head while saying "I hate kids"
- DevilsLasso, on 10/10/2007, -1/+37You just replied to a joke with the same joke. Awful.
- esotericguy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37Cuz if there had been any flour around.....
- greenlight2001, on 10/10/2007, -5/+39Here's the main problem with what happened. As a snake own myself, there are a few things you do when showing your snakes. The major thing is to have complete control of the snake's head, that way you don't end up having to pry your snake off someone's face. Why was this snake's head unintended? I mean, the kid is a total bozo and needs a good beating for sure, but the snake owner should not have left his snake unattended, especially around kids. I don't care how "nice and sweet" the snake is. Never trust a wild animal. Ever been bitten by a snake that size? I have. It hurts to bloody hell, their teeth are like razor blades.
- EvilMoose, on 10/10/2007, -12/+45Wrong, there are many people with college degrees that are idiots. It doesn't take much brains to learn to give oral sex to TA's.
- Pix869, on 11/13/2007, -10/+43In his defense, he was probably tired of the ***** snakes in the ***** school.
- Cerebron, on 10/10/2007, -8/+38Too bad they didn't try that technique in 'Anaconda'.
- Oomsoup, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31Oh that's awful! :(
I've had 2 Albino Burmese Pythons and they were wonderful animals. What the hell are that kid's parents teaching him that he thinks it's perfectly fine to kill someone's pet?! Also what is with the father who just TAKES OFF afterwards?
Ug, this story is just plain depressing. - greenblob, on 10/10/2007, -4/+32Here's the main problem with what happened. As a penis owner myself, there are a few things you do when showing your penises. The major thing is to have complete control of the penis's head, that way you don't end up having to pry your penis off someone's face. Why was this penis's head unattended? I mean, the kid is a total bozo and needs a good beating for sure, but the penis owner should not have left his penis unattended, especially around kids. I don't care how "nice and sweet" the penis is. Never trust a wild animal. Ever been bitten by a penis that size? I have. It hurts to bloody hell, their teeth are like razor blades.
- shi11, on 10/10/2007, -4/+32"before dieing, the snake went into a rage and attempted to eat the child, but choked on his mullet."
- wright3279, on 10/10/2007, -7/+34Too many children see adults casually kill animals. How many people would automatically kill a snake in the yard, no matter what kind, or a spider weaving a web, or a bird in their garden. Enjoy and marvel at the complexities of living things.
- Klowner, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27The snake owner should have then said to the kid that he dislikes that idiot kid's face and promptly slapped him with a rubber hose until he could no longer cry effectively.
- augiedoggy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+28This story made me smile. I needed that after the innocent snake killing.
- DarkDragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27the public consensus is against snake stomping and for child stomping :D
- stklaw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26You would want to explain.
- jackyyll, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24I'm sure the guy was in shock after the ***** brat curb stomped his snake :/ Makes me sad..
- purple, on 10/10/2007, -2/+25Sadly, it took me a second to recognize the genius of your comment.
Edit: This kid will win a Darwin award someday. He'll stomp on a snake that doesn't die. - cameldung, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22They should so make that a Heritage Moment.
My fellow Canadians know what I'm talking about. - BHSPitMonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20Like subbing at a school that uses Windows 98.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20I'd say that snake was worth MORE than that particular human. I judge on a case-to-case basis, you see.
- Zarokima, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22I hope someone stomps your ***** head in.
- techmonkey4u, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19aye, if he doesn't get in contact with the owner, it will send the wrong message to the kid.
