- MeThePeople, on 10/12/2007, -0/+49you think youve seen everything and then WHAM a post office underwater
- superpixel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23so that is where my car payment has been going!
- senorcool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Ha, Id love to be in the meeting where that was suggested.
- fkr3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Octopus isn't bland, the way it was cooked for you might not have done it justice. Squid is also commonly known as calamari when it's cooked. Surely you've had that?
- dpknc84, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"The first person to send me one gets an Amazon gift certificate worth 10 times the amount of the postage."
I shall purchase an equivalent of $100 worth of postage stamps in whichever country and affix them to said postcard. I await my gift certificate. - piesforyou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@bakagaigin (#6314224)
Probably because they are infact quite wacky. - marning2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4do they have PO Box for rent?
- pardonmedoug, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3WHY?!?
Okay, I get why. Sort of. Something along the lines of ***** & giggles. But why has this happened five times independently? Can anyone explain this? - Lord_oftheTrons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Instead of sending mail via snail-mail, use the new and improved squid-mail......hiyyyyyooooo.
- Admanta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As a scuba diver I appreciate the fact that I don't need to surface to mail a letter.
- chrisrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I stayed on Hideaway Island (basically where the mailbox is located) and I can tell you it's a crappy resort.
- silverchrysalis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2read this...
then eat it.
haha who thought up squid flavored postcards? maybe chocolate, strawberry, cinnamon?
maybe someone who got fired from the adult novelty business.
"sorry, ed, those tuna panties just aren't going over as well as we'd hoped. we'll have to let you go"
"fine! i have other award winning ideas. no one here understood me anyhow!" - NaziHatinChimp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I knew I shouldn't have ordered that Cat via Malaysia.
- sparkysko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is dumb. It's dumber than dumb. I guess for someone who has a hobby of sending mail from weird places, this is a good idea, but come on. Why would you have a postal worker sitting in a scuba suit at a booth under water all day? That's a waste of resources. I certainly hope that country doesn't have a government ran post office.
- chrisrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ummm, there isn't a clerk underwater all the time. It's just a mailbox really, the marketing fuzz behind it is all crap (yes, i've actually been there)
They just dive down to collect it at the end of the day. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Calamari is great, you can get it deep fried with marinara sauce at most nicer Italian restaurants...
- crashflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1they're mostly tourist traps. With tourism, the rental of scuba gear will more than make up for the post office worker's compressed air.
- vsaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1first mailman outside of Eek! the cat to be eaten by a shark.
- GrimReeper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1w00t I have been to the Vanuatu underwater post office and I can tell you it's really awesome.
- Dacorr08, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As Eugene Struthers once said take it to a ho nuva level(whole nother level)! :P
- khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3You should eat squid jerky (dried cuttlefish, actually)
It's ***** heaven, and if you have cats, they'll do ANYTHING for it! - bakagaigin, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Why the hell is "wacky" always the word used when describing Japan?? I hate that word so much!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess this post office is where highly confidential letters delivers, especially for spies. Cause who could possibly built a post office under the water if the purpose is the same as the normal post office. Right?
- nc60659, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0O~ Who lives in a post office under the sea?
- dajk93, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0squid flavored postcards? ive never had squid but ive had octopus and its pretty bland... is squid any different? maybe they give u a regular postcard and say,"eat it. its squid. but you wouldnt know the difference..."
- DTftw, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2*snicker* squid flavored postcards... bahahaha
- hanpil, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Japanese are always the first to enact on these wacky ideas.
Remember that rollercoaster/bicycle ride? Haha. - atienza2, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4I'd hate to have soggy mail.
- thepeacekeeper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0this is not funny...how would u mail an envelope underwater? unless of course you were to put it in a plastic bag....but then the person recieving the mail would have a wet bag to deal with... and how do they get the trucks down to pick up the mail?????
