- Myonosken, on 10/12/2007, -8/+168I'm no advocate of the war, but I have to say that this isn't really the place for questioning that ***** again. These guys are out there risking their lives, whether we like it or not, so they NEED time to ***** around occasionally - if people are thrown into those situations without any leisure they will end up causing mistakes and risking lives.
- Waterispoison, on 10/12/2007, -1/+89Those guys are side by side. The sand people always ride in single file to hide their numbers.

- Myonosken, on 10/12/2007, -3/+26Welcome to the ignore list knomevol.
Also, I'd really like to know what the hell you actually do know about the Reichstag fire to be honest. The way you're using it makes me think you've heard the phrase and think it's cool to just keep saying it, even when it makes relatively little coherent sense. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+25Touche.
- ffejrey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21What the ***** is with all these *****...stop bringing in your political propaganda into this pic of soldiers just trying to keep their mind of all the ***** they go through.

i don't know who you are or where u came from.. but what the heck is wrong with you! your freaking out like a mentally sick person.. your blabbing about random crap and making yourself, and whatever religious believes your stouting.. look really stupid and idiotic
JUST SHUT UP - tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22@knomevol
The last time I checked, we were not there anymore for WMD's. The focus has changed to stabilizing the area. Watch/read the news every once in a while. Not to say I support the war, because I sure as hell don't, but before you start spouting off your anti-war statements (which really have nothing to do with what this article is about), check your facts. The government came right out and said there weren't any like..years ago. - ncapone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21@knomeval
Congratulations, you're the first person to go on my block list, you hypocritical son of a bitch. - allywilson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20"They all float down here."
- Myonosken, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Sandstorms are a heck of a lot more deadly than a snow blizzard. Think having tiny rocks and shards of glass thrown at your face at 100+mph.

- kenshin159, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Spysweeper just blocked spyware from installing from that site.
- Wrathernaut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Further proof that despite all the advancements in military gear, the poncho (and poncho liner, not shown) proves to be the best piece of equipment ever.
@dboy, the camo from desert storm was about the same, I'm wondering about the guy who appears to be in BDUs, possibly another country's military? - Asianwaste, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Quit trying to turn this into a political topic. There's nothing immediately political about it. It is a bunch of guys who have a stressful job and found a way to have a few seconds where they aren't thinking of where they are and what they are doing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I blocked knomevol and this thread shrank by 50%.
- tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14@knomevol
What news are you watching that tells you we are looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction? We haven't been looking for those since the capture of Saddam. We are there to stabilize the area, which SOUNDS very noble, but sure as hell isn't working out as planned and no exit plan in sight. I want our troops home as much as anyone else.
And did you forget this article is about troops having fun? Is that a ***** crime? Get a life dude. If god is telling you to be a dick, you are worshiping the wrong god.
EDIT: This is NOT a news site! No one is trying to glorify Iraq! It's just showing you that the troops can still manage to have fun in such bad times. - alternateheaven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11@ knomevol
Please die in a fire - tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12"if it were not for the false claims of weapons of mass destruction we..would..not..be.there."
Yes, you are absolutely, 100% correct. But I will repeat for the 2nd time, that is not the point. We are not there ANYMORE because WMDs. It was just a clever plan to get Americans to support the US going into Iraq in the first place.
But those claims of WMDs have already been proven false, and the government has already admitted that there weren't any. I feel like I am talking to a wall here. Who is saying we are there for WMDs anymore? Who is lying to you about that? I KNOW that our reason for being there now is basically not having an exit strategy. I've lost 3 friends in Iraq, and I want the rest to come home NOW.
Why are you carrying on about the WMDs? We all KNOW!!!! Just ***** drop it and join the huge group of people who just want the war to be over. Stop making yourself sound like a 5th grader who spends every day in church and watches the news headlines from 2 years ago. - chilekillr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9@knomevol
Just to let you know I got tired of digging you down so just add -1 to your last 40 comments.
P.S. If you look at his history he just goes around looking for stories about the war and making comments like these. - nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9some people don't deserve to exist. you are one of them.
- khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8@tastybacontreat
No, that's real. We do that often here in Memphis during the summer straightline winds (nicknamed Hurricane Elvis) with good tarps tied to our ankles, and use our hands to act as the other holds so we can let go to stop getting blown around if need be. Yes, you will bite the dust occasionally, but that's why you do it in a field. - tomokatsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I am convinced that knomevol is a clone of that westboro baptist "church" guy. He just keeps spouting off ***** to try and revel in people's attention. so just block him, and move along...
- alternateheaven, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9The reason everybody decided to give knomevol ***** was because he brought political ***** where it had no place. The picture was of some troops dicking off for ***** sake yet he tried to make it political because he has a problem with the war. Thats fine that he has a problem, and there is certainly a place for him to voice his opinion, however discussion of a rather funny photo is not the place.
And for the record there is never a right time to say you are 'against the troops'. You can think Dubya is the worlds biggest ***** (and he might be were it not for the existence of people like Fred Phelps, Jack Thompson and Orinn Hatch), you can think it was wrong that we hung Saddam, you can believe that we went to war for totally fabricated reasons, but there is absolutely no excuse to disrespect the troops, none what so ever. You want to take issue with the war then go straight to the top, those guys on the bottom deserve far better. And unless you did time as a SEAL or some other branch of the Navy where you would have been in a real combat situation your time on a sewer pipe has precisely no correlation to those on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. You may now proceed to label me as a right-winger because I think only ***** talk ***** about the troops. - mattmoto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Military propaganda? How the hell is this military propaganda?!
Just because we see some heart-warming stuff from Iraq... doesn't mean it's a big military ploy. Take off the tin-foil hat, and enjoy this picture for what it is. - Ryan32, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7hahaha... I never even considered using the block feature until Knomevol..... It's easier than I thought.
- BOFH2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@knomevol.
Do you need a hug or what? You call yourself a follwer of God yet you are telling people to f*** off. Nice. Thanks for calling yourself that and creating even more hate for Christians. Please spend some time reading the bible and praying. - CPoe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9And thats the last they ever saw of him...
- harvinator24, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6knomevol = the suck
- FastZ, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8@Wrathernaut
The camo used in the Desert Shield/Storm era was a little different. We in the military call it "Cookie camo" because it had rocks printed on it with the shadows of the rocks printed as well. We got rid of that. The uniforms these guys are wearing is actually the JSLIST chemical protective overgarment. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I'm in the military, have been to the desert, have worn this stuff...though I have never flown via poncho. - Prysorra, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7misterflaut thinks this way because that's exactly what he'd do if he were in their place.
- Travisx2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Awesome!!!!
I totally believe this, as a kid, my friend and I would hold up a blanket between us while ice skating, A good gust would have us moving 20-30 mph
was awesome .... until you got near the end of the lake!!!!
also, another time,
During Hurricane Gloria, We all went outside when the Eye passed over and the wind allowed me to lean over and almost touch the ground and then stand up again. Was awesome. My Friends little mini dog got lifted off the ground like a foot, it yelped and ran back in the house.. very funny. (Wishes he had a video camera back then) - minox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Somewhere in this country a "World Can't Wait" rally is missing their knomevol/
- localzuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Agree 100%! I didn't support the war (and still don't) but that doesn't matter 1 bit. These men are brave, are put in life threatening situations constantly so need ways to unwind. Would we rather they spend their time their stressed and dangerous because of that?
Remember, soldiers are just normal people doing a, rather horrible, job. They are not killing machines. - tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Agreed. There WERE no Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. I understand that was why we went there in the first place. But no one has said there were any in like 2 years, and no one said we were STILL in Iraq because of them. We are there to stabilize the area. Set up a democracy (which is failing miserably). Not find WMDs. That hasn't been the publicly known reason for war for a long time. So shut your trap about the WMDs. We KNOW already!
Are you like some kind of random message generating bot or something? God damn...No one is arguing your statement, just pointing out it's insignificance. - Bamborzled, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Get the NoScript Firefox extension.
- munky100, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5lmao - very funny picture! heres a backup if the site goes down... http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/7664/soldierhavingfuniraquo2.jpg
- craftyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@Wrathernaut
Those are not BDUs, it is the new chemical protective suit (JSLIST)
You can tell from the velcro on the angles and wrists, and because of the hood. Just so happens they make 2 different color patterns for 2 different enviroments (the green pattern you see in the picture along with the desert pattern). - NeoPlatonist, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Welcome to my block list.
