UPDATED: Hostage situation at high school near Denver
wbir.com — he Department of Public Safety confirmed to 9NEWS that a gunman, claiming to have an explosive device, had taken at least four people hostage in Platte Canyon High School, but is now only holding two people hostage. Authorities say there are investigators inside the school establishing verbal contact with the gunman.
