The algorithm that advances stories to the front page is complex and is based of a lot of information not just the number of digs

Anyway, I could see how this would happen, especially if the scene were well lit, it would make the midnight black vehicle vanish into the lights/darkness. Centre is the UK spelling of Center.
There are no typos in the line you posted. However, in the sentence you follow the quote with, you capitalize quite, you use the word "on" instead of "in" a national newspaper article and you fail to end your sentence with a period.
