- had3l, on 04/20/2008, -19/+4Is he holding a banana phone?
- Mootabolife, on 04/20/2008, -3/+1na, it's his special ability. He turns into banana tree man. he can make people slip and fall along with fire amazing projectiles with a massive squeeze. CBS refused to give him his own series though.
- musagha, on 04/20/2008, -8/+55Come on science. SAVE HIM!
- Pixelante, on 04/20/2008, -3/+1You pray to the wrong secular deity. "Come on, money. SAVE HIM!" would be better.
- xptoast, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1Science is the direct application however in that money will pay for the science in which will help him. So science is what you are looking for. Money just gets you places but the places must first be able to exist.
- dofkex, on 04/20/2008, -4/+3Aperture science. We do what we must, because we can
- flashback99, on 04/20/2008, -4/+1Come on god... errrmm.
No wait, don't tell me Christians, he made the tree man perfect. Or was it because he sinned in a previous life or some other crap? What's god's excuse this time?- DaHuuuuuudge, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3Christians believe in reincarnation now?
- alittleroy101, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1Jesus came back as my cat.
- decyx, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1I can haz salvashun?
- xptoast, on 04/20/2008, -0/+2Christians that think that sort of thing are nuts. I am a Christian and for sure know that God doesn't want pain. However the trials and tribulations put us through a fire of tempering. Life and its obstacles temper our souls. He made all of us perfect...in that we have a chance to do something. Not perfect as in created in perfect mental and physical health. The Bible is cryptic and many interpret in very odd ways that do not even make any logical sense. For taking things out of context always messes with the message. To take the bible as a whole will show that most Christians are in fact very wrong and do not have a complete set of information from it to make their decisions. God has no excuses. He only has good reasons. You must also understand for if you believe in a God you also believe that there is a counterpart called Satan. Why would you blame that in who wishes for only greatness of His creations and not that of who has been cast away and wishes for only pain and suffering of everyone else because he cannot be God?

- TheBigSquid, on 04/20/2008, -8/+29Great, it took me a whole month to stop being creeped out by the first tree man submission. Now I've got a whole month of nightmares ahead of me.
- voetsjoeba, on 04/20/2008, -4/+2If that creeps you out, check out the lotus boob.
- Static88, on 04/20/2008, -4/+2you've just ruined boobs for me...
- HubrisDeadPan, on 04/20/2008, -0/+5it's shopped, unlike the tree man
- Static88, on 04/20/2008, -4/+2you've just ruined boobs for me...
- TheBigSquid, on 04/20/2008, -2/+2I saw that on /b/ once. Is lotus boob real or shooped?
- Lunarbunny, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1Shooped. That's why it's called "lotus boob." It's a lotus seed pod shooped into a boob.

- svivian, on 04/20/2008, -1/+5If you were creeped out by him, why did you watch it this time?
- Nosty, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1If this disease were more poplar the scientists would know more about it. I think in the entire world there have only ever been tree occurrences of it.
It really looks like it's bark is bigger than it's bite.
Plenty more seats available in this basket destined for a one-way trip directly to hell!
- voetsjoeba, on 04/20/2008, -4/+2If that creeps you out, check out the lotus boob.
- JustJoe4Life, on 04/20/2008, -10/+114I just wish people would leaf him alone.

- decyx, on 04/20/2008, -4/+21Maybe sometime in the fuchsia.
- bot001220, on 04/20/2008, -3/+29If only scientists wood help him.
- MortalynFlux, on 04/20/2008, -1/+14They will, once they find the root of the problem.
- lickmyback, on 04/20/2008, -5/+44He doesn't appear to be lichen it much
- ByteGuerilla, on 04/20/2008, -4/+25Is this a disorder or the next evolutionary branch for mankind?
- saggygrandma, on 04/20/2008, -5/+32The poor sap
- thaistick, on 04/20/2008, -4/+27His bark is worse than his bite
- Mizzike, on 04/20/2008, -2/+12Brings new meaning to the old saying, "Why don't you make like a tree and leave." Srsly, tho, I'm rooting for him.
- DaLukeMan, on 04/20/2008, -13/+1I just wish people would leaf him alone.................. srry its 420
- TrevorPace, on 04/20/2008, -3/+17Well at least the doctors are trying to spruce him back to life.
- IareKEVLAR, on 04/20/2008, -3/+14I imagine there are a lot of questions that people wood like to axe him.
- xcvbn, on 04/20/2008, -8/+2i feel like a sap rooting this up, but wood it branch off to cannibalism if he was a vegetarian, like Forest Whitaker?
- moomza, on 04/20/2008, -1/+10you went too far out on a limb with that one
- wawilli, on 04/20/2008, -8/+5I think the doctors just need to get to the root of the problem.
- davidlow, on 04/20/2008, -3/+3Run, Forest!
- Nosty, on 04/21/2008, -0/+2It's too bad this disease isn't more poplar, maybe then they'd know more about it and how to cure it. I think in the entire world there have only ever been tree occurrences.
- crywolf, on 04/20/2008, -3/+6There is a show on TLC about him, and a few other people who have a similar condition to him. Its a really great special about how doctors are working to help him and prevent this from happening to others in the later future. I believe the show was called "Tree Man" but im not entirely sure.
- Torx, on 04/20/2008, -10/+3HPV people, get your girls tested!
- Kerblotto, on 04/20/2008, -13/+6I'm going to go out on a limb here and say leave Tree Man alone! Seriously, his bark is worse than his bite.
- svivian, on 04/20/2008, -4/+1Should've said "go out on a branch"...

- DalamarArgent, on 04/20/2008, -3/+16http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=697_1196438716
One of the links on the page to his before surgery condition.
Looking significantly better, good to see him getting the help he needs. - marx2k, on 04/20/2008, -11/+0"Some of you wake up with a woody in the morning. I have this cross to bear all of my life"
- sithie, on 04/20/2008, -11/+8dugg for shot of him trying to text
- CDoug03, on 04/20/2008, -10/+1See what happens when you have sex without a condom?
- ElAssoWipo, on 04/20/2008, -2/+6In his case, fire.
- ultralights, on 04/20/2008, -4/+13its scary to think that 80% of the worlds population has the same virus that causes that condition, the HPV virus. its usually responsible for genital warts.
- GPY26, on 04/20/2008, -0/+2yea but entirely different strains of it cause the genital version... which 80% of people who've had at least 2 sex partners carry, whether they know it or not. I admit- I have it. The sad part is I've been reluctant to even ask many girls on a date since my last girlfriend, who I think I got it from... But what's sad is that 80% of the girls I'd be asking would probably have it too, (and not know it), but would be turned off by me if I was honest with them. This disease really does suck. Good thing is, the outward elements (warts) are treatable in most cases. Bad news: because it's treatable.. people think it's gone just because the symptoms aren't there... and some people won't tell anyone they've had it. This is how it spreads. I once heard though- that if people didn't have sex because of HPV, the human race would die out... there's something to think about.
It's just getting past the EW!!! psyche. I used to be grossed out by a girl if I knew she had it- then I had it.. and it's really no big deal (as long as you take care of yourself). 80% of people.. remember that.- GPY26, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1spreads that way and because in males (and females), some of them, it doesn't show signs.

- cocaclay, on 04/20/2008, -10/+2Watching this video gives me chills. If some bark-like thing started engulfing my body I think I would take a knife and scrape that crap off. I'd rather die from bleeding than have a nasty bark-like fungus all over my body
- JoeVet, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1Its not a fungus. It is his own skin that is overgrowing because of a virus.
- sexybobo, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1Since you are posting on digg i would guess what ever country you are living in the doctors would have been able to detect what it is and have been treating it like they are now for the poor guy so it would have never gotten as bad.
- thundacracka, on 04/20/2008, -10/+1Well that wasn't a tree-man at all. Buried out of disappointment.
- chuckles08, on 04/20/2008, -8/+1i can't watch this. i don't think i could stomach it. could someone tell me is he really made of wood, bark, leaves, is he basically like the swamp thing or is it something much more yucky?
- paradox2222, on 04/20/2008, -0/+0Buried for yucky.
- djpray2k, on 04/20/2008, -8/+2To those asking for science to save him, science came up with some pretty good procedurs but he turned it down. As a freak he is paying his way in travling shows across his country and didn't want to go through with the opperations.
- Encablossa, on 04/20/2008, -2/+6Source?
- thinkart, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1i saw a television show about him and "dipray2k" WAS correct. he gave up the surgery to travel with a group of freaks. sorry i can't remember what channel to give you a source. He mentioned that he was scared that he wouldn't have any other skills if they removed his deformity. HOWEVER, this new video shows that he changed his mind.
- Encablossa, on 04/20/2008, -2/+6Source?
- amdforever, on 04/20/2008, -9/+2Did he just eating a ***** banana that grew out of his tree branch?
- RATM4EVER, on 04/20/2008, -8/+1Holy crap! Did you see him text messaging?

- Qays, on 04/20/2008, -3/+8I'm glad he's looking better then he did last time :D
- Duositex, on 04/20/2008, -10/+1buried for "VIDEO"

- slainbyte, on 04/20/2008, -1/+5Epidermodysplasia verruciformis is the name of that disease. Needs a longer name if you ask me.
- GrantTheGr8, on 04/20/2008, -1/+2I wonder why people call him tree man. Epidermodysplasia verruciformis man has such a nice ring to it.
- theOster, on 04/20/2008, -4/+1no "Ent" comments?
- justice7, on 04/20/2008, -2/+3They are coming -- they just take a really long time.

- DMBmelch, on 04/20/2008, -2/+11If he falls alone in a forest, would anyone hear him?
- flashback99, on 04/20/2008, -3/+3if you knew he fell in a forest, he would hence not be technically alone, and hence an objective observer would hear him.
- carlonchox911, on 04/20/2008, -1/+4What if he told you later? =D
- flashback99, on 04/20/2008, -3/+3if you knew he fell in a forest, he would hence not be technically alone, and hence an objective observer would hear him.
- SamOut, on 04/20/2008, -1/+2This is a boring comment, but I'm *really* happy he's feeling even slightly better and being able to EAT with his own hands, even if I don't know the fellow. Imagine the feeling of looking like that and everybody taking pictures of you in a hospital; look at his facial expressions ("I'm so ***** tired of this crap").
- carlonchox911, on 04/20/2008, -3/+1I wish I could scrape off all of the warts.. Yummy..
- SADDownfall, on 04/20/2008, -5/+0Well.. I guess it looks like he always has wood.
