- crexor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+163The first picture is from a porn site, they have girls drive cars into mud, and get out, and then pretend to be helpless in it. They do like jeeps/bmw/mercedes/etc, dont even ask how i know this.
- Hentez, on 10/12/2007, -15/+130Am I the only one that has seen these pictures way too many times?
- Barman, on 10/12/2007, -9/+118Haha, the first place picture always cracks me up every time I see it .

Second place: it's a woman AND a cop!
Unavoidable disaster! - secleinteer, on 10/12/2007, -6/+69Worst Woman Driver Ever:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RMLt28n0-M - kaelyiesta, on 10/12/2007, -2/+61I dunno if you could call that backwards, its not turned around. Its rotated 90 degrees AND turned around. So thats wrong on two axis. Quite honestly, I dont think there is a word to describe just how incorrectly she is wearing that helmet. ***** up doesnt even come close...
- klank, on 10/12/2007, -4/+61The helmet is on backwards.
- GenerousLinus, on 10/12/2007, -8/+63Liar. Everyone knows there are no women on the internet.
- obrysii, on 10/12/2007, -6/+60Considering insurance rates are lower for teenaged female drivers than they are for teenaged male drivers, it should seem the insurance companies don't know where it came from, either.
- Hindu_Wardrobe, on 10/12/2007, -10/+53I STILL don't know where the stereotype of "women suck at driving" came from.
- james2die4, on 10/12/2007, -3/+38Her helmet is on incorrectly. Her face is looking through the part that her neck should be.
- silentwinter, on 10/12/2007, -8/+42I'm a woman and really should be affronted by this, but I LOL'd. :)
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32How the hell....?
- captainpete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+29They did. She just couldn't hear them with her helmet on.

Hopefully links work... - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25Now I see the appeal of hunting.
- loveandrockets, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29My sister-in-law is the worst driver I know. She's been in 6 major accidents but they weren't technically her fault. All 6 of them. She's totalled 3 cars but they were all not technically her fault. I don't know how she does it. She's like an insurance disaster GENIUS..
When she drove the last time I saw her, she almost caused 5 accidents in a couple hours. We narrowly avoided them and I had to endure the people honking and looking at us going "WTF?!" - honestlywhagwan, on 10/12/2007, -12/+35love me some sexist bias! :D
- rmirque, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25I didn't see Lucille Bluth in there. Buried as inacurate.
- cymbol, on 10/12/2007, -21/+43I don't get the humor in the 1st place. Would someone kindly explain?
- captainpete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+224 hours later after your comment and it seems to be up now.
- 1iProd, on 10/12/2007, -5/+24She's driving, don't you get it?
- moofer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20if a man ***** up in the woods, and there isn't a woman around to see it, did it happen?
- ShBm, on 10/12/2007, -10/+27Personally, I know way more girls who have been in accidents than guys. That's based on my high school experience, and most of the guys I knew drove like maniacs, too.
- kingkilr, on 10/12/2007, -9/+26Why couldn't Hellen Keller drive?
- JAK2112, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21HOLY CAP!!! That last one is classic
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2007, -14/+30Yeah, I think when teenage boys screw up, they screw up BIG. Teenage girls, however, just screw up all the time...and that even carries on until they're 40 and have squeezed out a few kids. The number of times I've almost gotten into an accident because some soccer mom decides to be retarded just keeps growing and growing...
- Konrad9, on 10/12/2007, -10/+23Us guys do drive like maniacs, but we don't drive like morons because we PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD.
Girls don't.
Simple as that. - moofer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16I think it fell from space.
- WailOS, on 10/12/2007, -11/+23@W00DR0W, "Funny, but in all honesty men are worse drivers. Which is why women have cheaper car insurance (hence mine being in my sister's name"
If you've ever looked at a breakdown of why men have more expensive car insurance and are considered "worse" drivers, the reason for this is obvious: Men are more likely to drink and drive.
Generally speaking drunk driving also fits into the broader category of risk-taking behavior, which means racing with your friends and other sorts of adolescent behavior. If you're not the sort of person who drinks and drives, and not the sort of person who sees a car as an extension of his phallus then chances are you're probably a statistically better driver than the average woman. - masgrada, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Actually turned around would accurately describe it. A 180 rotation on a 45deg plane biatches!
- sleen, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16This is hilarious
http://youtube.com/watch?v=nAZPJp8UeOQ - sofaKing812, on 10/12/2007, -13/+24Why does a woman never need driver's license?
Because there are no roads between the kitchen and bedroom.
Oh snaps, how far will diggers let the sexist jokes roll? - theRIAA, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11heres how it happened:
too many horseies - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11someone said "And I see no Asian among the Top Ten..." and got dugg down 35 times. So apparently its ok to play off sexists stereotypes, but racial stereotypes are taboo.
- 2Deluxe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11cymbol must be a woman.
- diegoman, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14Men drivers have more accidents because they're continuously trying to dodge women drivers.

Well, that would explain the "Sixty 9" shirt... - NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13Oh man, the second place one is much better IMHO - but only because I live in PA - That's a PA state cop in wet cement. PennDOT will take two months to fix what she did. So not only is she a stupid driver policing our highways - she's cost the state thousands of dollars in lagging PennDOT repairs. Classic.
- rnwen2750, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12So finalnightz gets dugg down for racism when the rest of the posts are misogynistic? ...

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12Of course you are. Thats why so many NASCAR and Indy drivers are female right?
Dont belive everything your femi-nazi sites tell you. - cymbol, on 10/12/2007, -8/+14ah, thanks, hahaha.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+15yeah, cuz men never ***** up.
- caimlas, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Well, since the order of the day is anecdotal evidence, let me offer the following:
I'm male. I've gotten in one accident. It was my fault; there was a fairly thick layer of black ice and 5" or so of snow on the road and after 20 minutes of driving, I rear-ended a car stopped at a green light at a low enough MPH to not leave a mark. There's also the time that I drove off the interstate and recovered - another black ice scenario - but there was no collision and I got out of the ditch on my own. Oh, and I have no binocular vision; my left eye doesn't work - so on that element, women have a leg up on me. I've got mediocre reflexes for a male.
Of the other car accidents in my immediate relations:
- I've been in the vehicle twice while my mom drove off the road in a panic.
- My sister destroyed the driver's side door on her Ford Focus a year after starting to drive - at the gas station, just like in the image in the posted link.
- I had my car backed into twice during high school by high school girls; both times I caught them in the act.
- Neither my brother nor my father have been in accidents, unless you count the one where my brother drove my car off the road after hitting black ice. The car was fine, and so was he.
- My grandmother drove her car through the middle of a grocery store. Yep, all the way through (granted, old age certainly came into play here).
-
What it comes down to, in my opinion, is a combination of several things when assessing a person's skill as a driver (IMO in order):
1) reflexes
2) attentiveness
3) caution (a factor of which is experience in knowing what to be cautious of)
4) perception (eye sight - peripheral and depth)
Men have women bested, as an aggregate and in most cases, in 3 of the four. Women are, granted, more cautious, but I suspect that once men get to 25 or so, the differences are negligible in that area due to their perceptions of responsibility and mortality. Unfortunately for everyone, women tend to decline in those 3 characteristics from that age on at a fairly drastic rate in relation to men.
There's nothing sexist about it. It's a statement of fact. I will freely admit that my wife is a substantially better driver than I am, if only for the reason that she has an easier time seeing the road. Her reflexes are slower, and she is not as perceptive; but her ability to bi-focally assess the situation is still better than mine, and that allows her more time in assessing and predicting any potential situation. However, this is not the case across the entire gender. Through brain calculations alone I can compensate a substantial amount for my eyes' inability to focus (so sayeth several eye specialists); this is not something that women are able to do - they weren't evolved to do so.
Women are not equal to men. For them to attempt to be such would to under-achieve, for there are many, many things which women (as a whole) do better than men (and vice-versa, obviously), such as understanding human motivations, reading between the lines in interpersonal behavior, fine motor control (something I wish I was gifted with more of), and maternal care. The genders are different and complimentary.
To suppose that women are equal in every fashion to men is pure, unbridled (politically motivated) stupidity. And that's about as kindly as I can put it. Not everything men can do, can women do also.
And driving isn't one of them. Get over it. -
