The reason some items "disappear" from the menus can be attributed to one of two reasons. First, lack of space if you listed every possible variation you would run out of space long before you finished listing the standard subs. Second, Some items are discontinued after a certain amount of time and the franchises can no longer order the components to make the subs.

It also has alot more than the blog showed. - SHOVELLit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I've never been to Subway.

- nixonrichard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Interesting, but I wonder how often the people who work at the restaurants are aware of these secret menus. There are other things they will do that are not on the menu as well. I was at Chipotle and a person in front of me asked for "double meat" and was given a double portion which cost him an extra $2 or so without hesitation. I'm not sure Chipotle burritos need anything more, but it's nice to know places with relatively limited menus still have extra options.

I don't know about you, but I would like to know how many calories and carb I shove down my pi-hole when I eat there.
