- riddlebox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6You have to admit though, it is funny (well it made me laugh). Its also going to be funny how many little kids are afraid when ELMO is falling, and getting back up. I would ***** my pants when I was 2 and saw a read monster do that *****.
- AttackingHobo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7No parent who wants to keep their sanity would by this for their own children, but an uncle who buys it for their brothers kids is a smart one.
- UrlorJkron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Next it will laugh its ass off and the company will make bundles from replacement asses.
- netwookiee, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Here is a news cast that has video of the new Elmo in action:
http://www.9wsyr.com/mediacenter/?videoid=128486 - mwosh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Sure as hell beats the previous Elmo version.
- garyh84, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4$40 for an Elmo doll... well... better go buy 20 of them because once they are sold out they will be on e-bay for around $400...
- tsteele93, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think they should have named it ROFL ELMO, because he is rolling on the floor, laughing!
Or maybe LMAO ELMO! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3http://www.youtube.com/watch?search=&mode=related&v=j9oU4nl39LQ
- astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I guess the 'Shoot me up Elmo' didn't go so well: http://www.bertisevil.tv/pages/bert006.htm

Who cares that Elmo is here? Why are these forums filled with complainers? Do you need a hug? It's news, to somebody, judging by the number of Diggs I see -- it may not be news to you, but I don't read over half the "news" I see. The beauty of Digg is that you can mark things as "lame", "inaccurate", and even choose not to Digg it or comment (because doesn't commenting at all just serve to make the topic a little bit more popular?).
::hug:: - Ssj6Kirby, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Oh man! The Wii is really going to have some competition this holiday season!
- thedez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When is the Skynet edition coming out?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow, and we were sold out of the TMX Elmo giftcards on the day we got them at Target. I was interested into what it would do, then I saw that thing spazzing out on GMA. Lame, this thing is too overhyped, it's just plain marketing that is the salvation of this overhyped toy.
- Spastastic, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4I find it ridiculous when people ask "Is this digg worthy?" when things hit the front page. If it wasn't on the front page when you replied I apoligize but even still things are deemed "digg worthy" when people digg them which is the case regarding this story. So I think it's "diggworthy".
- twtmc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I bet you its even wifi capable, but when you download new tickling noises you can't transfer them to other elmos because of their DRM.
- nonpareil, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1cute :)
love the video (and the dog's reaction) here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4x-VW_rCSE
would make a good gift for the kiddies or a lady with a sense of humor. - AuthorityAction, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Elmo 2.0?
- Tazmaster, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4I still prefer this version of Elmo:
http://static.flickr.com/40/116786808_55fa68c5e7_m.jpg (small pic, but still NSFW) - VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Even Elmo is Xtreme these days... Sigh
- vogelzang, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Elmo is having a seizure.
- JTMON, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1another local Syracusan? Notice how Jeff has no clue about the item he's featuring in the newscast. He actually thought it only did one move?
- bdub92, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3OMFG! finally they came out with the next gen elmo! geez, look at the inovation! and the fricken graphics! damn...
- kradleofslayer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@middlegirth
It takes quite a bit of tech to make a doll that sits down, lays down, goes wild, sits up, then stands back up. - Informativo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It looks like as well when I was a child. I really love him!!!
- JTMON, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I thought it was pretty funny, both the intended funny things, and the fact that he seems to smack his head exceptionally hard when laying on his back..the slight pause as if he knocked himself out is priceless.
- charliechaplan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1There also an attachment for the Mothers when the kids are at school
*Go Faster everybody, Go Faster, Go Faster* - stacksmasher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I have 2 and you can buy 1 for..........
One million dollars! Mwwwwwwaaaaaaa....... - BenBenMan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Hmm, so it builds upon its previous capabilities (being able to LOL) by adding an option to be able to ROFL. Not bad.
Where are the groundbreaking technological advancements? Why don't we see one which goes "Ahahaha .. eheehehehe, Elmo wants your bluetooth passkey for the device you just turned on!" ... now that would be creepy. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2'TMX Elmo?' Holy *****.
I was expecting some Elmo from the future that could melt into liquid steel or something. - freelancer7, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0"and it's the hysterically laughing, belly-clutching, floor-thumping Elmo."
looks more like floor-Humping Elmo to me - twtmc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Elmo has been into that meth I think...
- wiIbur, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Oh my goodness. This toy actually scares me.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+6I'm just curious why this is Digg worthy. It's a doll.
- RooDoG, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I saw them doing a demo with it at Toys R Us today. You would not belive the amount of parents that were watching and were interested :(
- LordSkywalker, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Here's a dollar for the first person to make a video of an exploding TMX Elmo.
- exponentory, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0That's some scary ***** right there
- arjunm, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Elmo enters the Matrix...
- Petrarch1603, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4i open digg and this headline is first thing i see...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1good for you, Spastastic. I'm just curious why a doll is featured on a tech forum. It's just a simple question. It's not very technical, nor funny, nor political. It's just a doll. I just find it odd that it's here, that's all.
- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1More like R.O.T.F.L.M.A.O. Elmo.

What is Digg?
