- mrbubbleboy, on 11/05/2007, -3/+42Here it is... you can get to it from Reddit. I am clearly labeling it [NSWF] in case any of the powers at Digg have an itchy trigger finger with my account too.

Getting permanently banned over this harmless (and funny) pic is crap. Digg needs to reinstate his account. - mrbubbleboy, on 11/14/2007, -1/+37The offending submission got my Digg. I thought it was hilarious. If cGt2099 gets a perm ban for that...that's totally ridiculous.
- gamebittk, on 11/10/2007, -0/+34Dear Digg staff: Get a sense of humor, and please let cGt2099 back.
- The Digg Community - iching, on 11/05/2007, -3/+28Good Grief ,that photo was neither obscene nor was it provocative. Live in Europe, almost all the beaches are topless.
- phnx0221, on 11/10/2007, -2/+23What the HELL! I saw that picture. I didn't digg it, but it wasn't anything incredibly offensive. I mean, there are certainly far worse things I could think of in a picture that would cause someone to be banned.
Man. WTF. That is just *****. I really liked him too. - inactive, on 11/10/2007, -2/+13At least we have SHOUTS to spread the news.
- Shigglyboo, on 11/10/2007, -1/+12seriously, that pic is funny. I've seen much more inappropriate stuff. ***** that belongs on porno sites. I'm not here to look at hot chicks, yet I see plenty of "hot chick" posts. there was even a video posted where a semi-cute asian chick does a split. I'd like to see the age stats for digg.
and is it nsfw, or nws? couldn't you just say "not safe for work"... I'm damn sick of acronyms. if y'all are so geeky why can't you type? - notque, on 11/10/2007, -4/+14Wait, what? It's not perm is it?
- lisapham, on 11/05/2007, -1/+10I believe it is a perm ban.
- punx777, on 11/05/2007, -2/+11I want to see the pic! Who's got an extra account and a link?
looks like cGt2009 has to get a new account :(....... cGt_2009 anybody? - iching, on 11/05/2007, -1/+10I'm sorry the photo of you walking on the beach that day got in the way of the wedding picture.
- puto, on 11/10/2007, -3/+12Show the link and call it NSFW or something, dont be a pussy
- aywwts4, on 11/06/2007, -0/+8Wow, that picture is pretty damn funny, nobody should be banned for that, don't digg at an uptight workplace, if you do digg at work, turn images off, the internet as a whole is not work safe.
On the subject of the picture, My finance actually was just mentioning an outdoor wedding, and thought a beach might be a good idea.... I'm thinking a park or manor might be a better idea :) - billmania, on 11/10/2007, -1/+9Since, apparently, no one else has yet said it...WHAT THE HELL IS SO BAD ABOUT BARE BREASTS, since when does NSFW mean all the little kiddies should go look at something. What a crock. If you can't handle a little innocent nudity, then stay off the internet. As Colbert would say, "Wag of the finger to digg"
- conceptkid, on 11/10/2007, -4/+12LOL, NO!!! I was wondering where he has been lately
- ukdave, on 11/10/2007, -1/+9It is a shame cGt2009 is a safe guy.
- Bukowsky, on 11/05/2007, -2/+9yea, that really sux. I personally thought that submission was hilarious! It got my digg.
- Bdog2g2, on 11/10/2007, -0/+7From the looks of it, yeah. Oh well he's on Mixx and has a small following there.
- lisapham, on 11/05/2007, -1/+7I would post the link but I don't want to get banned as well. His StumbleUpon link is on my blog, you can catch him there.
- lisapham, on 11/05/2007, -0/+6appleann1:
Let me correct you, the 0% rating is due to poor content submissions. If you check jcm267's Digg submissions, you'll see that nobody is digging them. It doesn't mean he's getting buried, it means NOBODY is digging his submissions. - 93south, on 11/10/2007, -1/+7Did that really get someone banned? It's just not that bad?
- freakon, on 11/10/2007, -1/+6Hey hey... i happened to be emotionally scarred from that pic, not until i realized it was a woman tho
- SilentJay74, on 11/05/2007, -0/+5They blocked his IP as well.
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -2/+7I had this problem in the past with DIGG .... and that's why you see the word FAME in my digg username ... and the old username also was a good one, but banned from a stupid mistake.
- RockMyMonkey, on 11/05/2007, -1/+5It is situations like this that will drive people to Digg's competition. I know I am way less active because of this site's over zealous moderation tactics.
- bariswheel, on 11/05/2007, -1/+5I was also banned for submitting this article, which actually became pretty hot, and pissed off some of the staff, I did mention the extension in other threads, and it was effectively considered spam. Though, I also think the content of the article had something to do with it, as modifying the UI is probably something Kevin Rose is sensitive about.
http://www.digg.com/software/Tired_of_Seeing_The_S ...
I emailed them a very good letter, persisted, and got my account back.
It's possible to become unbanned, but you really really have to work for it. - inactive, on 11/10/2007, -2/+6Or just take the spammers off my friends list...
Honestly, looking at that guy's profile it's clear to me that he cares more about getting to the front page than the news. - realunderdog, on 11/10/2007, -1/+5If you have a problem with SHOUTS tell digg to discontinue the feature.
Or go somewhere else. - SilentJay74, on 11/10/2007, -0/+4It is perm. I have sent a few postings to someone at Digg. It doesn't look like they are going to budge.
- realunderdog, on 11/05/2007, -1/+4Really?
I never heard of this "group" or gt2009 until I read about it on another site.
I happen to think banning someone for a public beach picture is over the line.
I'm not gaming digg. - gamebittk, on 11/05/2007, -0/+3WTF is the "Digg Elite"? And why do you keep mentioning it?
- SilentJay74, on 11/05/2007, -1/+4Jcm, that is just stupid. First off a lot of the people you are talking about are top users. That being said they also talk to each other. On the drill down, three of the top Diggers were talking about how they cannot stand people who game the Digg system. Also that they report Digg gamers. It is called policing our own. There are people who deserve to be banned, and people that don't. You just jump on some band wagon without know where the hell you going don't you? I know some of these people and I have had only 1 top story. What's that tell you? It is the content not who you know.
- lisapham, on 11/08/2007, -3/+6This is in response to jcm267:
What makes you think that Digg Elite is gaming Digg when these group of top diggers have done nothing but provide excellent news content and helped bury spammers. We've seen your submissions and let me just tell you that they are all crap and that is why you have a 0% Popular ratio my friend! - vrillco, on 11/07/2007, -0/+2Funny yes, Digg-safe no.
I don't think they should have banned him, that's really excessive, but delete it and issue a warning. That's the reasonable way to deal with these things. - mikesbaker, on 10/31/2007, -3/+5look its the reply button try it out
- SilentJay74, on 11/03/2007, -0/+2Not to long ago I seem to remember when Metacafe joined up with Digg, that next day there was accidental nudity on the front page for everyone to see. Meta had a vid of this pizza delivery guy delivering to some topless college chicks and that was the promo snapshot that was on the front page.
- dood, on 11/05/2007, -0/+2How is "more freedom" a lower standard? That's a baffling concept.
- merwin, on 11/05/2007, -0/+2What about George W Bush flashing a crowd of people?
Seriously, if you're worried about a kid losing his innocence, don't let him on the internet... - Speed, on 11/05/2007, -0/+2Ironic thing is, theres an ad on THIS digg page that could be considered linking to a NSFW site...
- Tomboys, on 11/05/2007, -0/+2I hope Digg let's Greg come back. I loved his submissions.
- realunderdog, on 11/05/2007, -0/+2Yeah, I get tired of the lame crap that seems to make the front page.
I just don't think he should be banned for that specific submission. - Googlelady, on 11/03/2007, -0/+1I think that Digg new anti-cheating system is really more strict that before (I think) Hope you get your account again cGt2099.
- djproctor, on 10/31/2007, -0/+1not in northeast scotland!
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -0/+1Today this, tomorrow LOL kitties of the wrong color?
- jessicass, on 11/05/2007, -0/+1Man this is really a bummer. I knew I hadn't seen him around but I didn't even know he got banned. And for such a stupid reason, to top it off.
- h4mx0r, on 11/05/2007, -0/+1Don't know about Greg (I don't really pay attention to submitters) but I am kind of stunned that he was banned over that digg story. It's been on all sorts of community supported news sites: reddit, fark, and all sorts. I didn't expect Digg to be the only one to shun it.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 11/05/2007, -1/+1What? People honestly come here to read news? That's kind of quaint and humorous. If I want news, I hand pick the sites myself and Digg is not on that list. Digg is more entertainment and meta-communication than news.
- IntrnetToughGuy, on 11/05/2007, -0/+0Well, if all you are submitting is "9/11 was an inside job" spam, then YES, you should be on a permanent "submit it and by default it's spam" list. you do realize, that the tin foil hat does nothing for your credibility, right?
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -3/+3First off, a naked beach picture is kinda over the line, especially when you see who the picture was of. If you are going to post picture like that, you really should put NSFW in the title.
As for the gaming digg part, if you read the submission it says this at the end:
Shameless Plug: Join Digg Elite and join our revolution for high quality content, email us at digg.elite[at]gmail[dot]com - mikesbaker, on 11/05/2007, -2/+2C-C-C-C-C-C-Combo breaker - also only a few of your stories have more diggs than his do
