- feshmania, on 11/20/2007, -3/+178really? is this really a case?
i mean, when i was 8 and 9 all i thought about was the Ninja Turtles...I used to get in trouble for hitting girls, not gang banging them... - MaynardJK, on 11/20/2007, -7/+179"I am nauseated that the boys parents think it was consensual sex."
I find it funny that so many parents want to cover their eyes and ears instead of admitting that their little angels might not be so perfect. There were a bunch of girls in my class that were having sex in the 5th and 6th grade. It a lot more common than you think.
I am nauseated by this: But Wilkie said children that young cannot legally consent to sex, "so we have to go with the charges we have." - Tomboys, on 11/20/2007, -2/+154What? 8 and 9? Is it even possible?
- ZenMojo, on 11/20/2007, -4/+144I remember when I was 8 years old and a girl about a year older than me accused me of rape at the swimming pool. She was grotesquely large compared to me and absolutely unattractive but she had the biggest crush on me I found out. She kept chasing me around the pool and grabbing at me and trying to pull my swimtrunks down and I kept fighting her off and running away.
My daycare lady asked me if I knew what rape was and I said, "Yeah. It's when you cut someone's face with a knife! I didn't cut anybody!"
So the daycare lady tells me, "It's when you force someone to have sex with you."
I screamed and bugged out and was like, "Who would want to do that! And with her! And she was pulling my swimtrunks!"
So, get this, the daycare lady tells me not to be so mean.
What the *****? This chick just accused me of rape, was actually sexually assaulting me, and I'm not supposed to be mean? WHAT THE *****!
Welcome to the real world. - WaterDragon, on 11/20/2007, -42/+162Pics or it didn't hap....
oh forget it - CletusJones, on 11/20/2007, -13/+130It's not rape...it's getting lucky with an aggressive chick.
- inactive, on 11/20/2007, -1/+114But Wilkie said children that young cannot legally consent to sex, "so we have to go with the charges we have."
So this logic only works one way. - Hamsterpotpies, on 11/20/2007, -7/+106Wtf!
- SpectralSounds, on 11/20/2007, -3/+94I along with everyone else here obviously do not know what happened, but....
Usually kids that age will try and lay the blame on anybody but themselves so they don't get into any trouble. I'm not saying she lied, I dont know what happened. But, I definetely believe that if you are caught lying about things like being raped, then you should face criminal charges as well. - ConfirmedCynic, on 11/20/2007, -6/+96How do you know that the girl didn't initiate it? The facts haven't all been collected, have they.
Eight and nine year old boys aren't even pubescent. It's hard to understand how they could conceive of rape. - Infektid, on 11/20/2007, -13/+102The girl consented had a good time, even went to a slumber party and bragged about it. Then her parents find out... she doesn't want to get in trouble... so what does she do? cries rape... typical girl. Case Closed
- ColorBlind, on 11/20/2007, -7/+93Why do we never hear about women raping men....?
and yes, it does happen. - yohnstoppable, on 11/20/2007, -0/+80The closest I ever came to sex at that age was "You show me yours, I show you mine". I'll never fall for being the first to show ever again
- zeitgueist, on 11/20/2007, -5/+82Uh have the boys even hit puberty yet? I'm thinking this charge isn't very possible. Also, generally most 11yo girls are big enough to WRECK younger boys in a fight. Maybe they had a knife.
- arcooke, on 11/20/2007, -6/+83http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/1882/doc4614302 ...
- dgh1973, on 11/20/2007, -3/+76I don't know about you guys... but at age 9 I wasn't even able to ejaculate. I think that's pretty standard for most kids that age. Something seems off here.
- ndavisAA, on 11/20/2007, -5/+67So who do we blame
A: The Parents
B: Violent Video Games
C: The Terrorists - turpenine, on 11/20/2007, -3/+65boys boys, the girls who rape guys are not attractive.
- Frnnkdlxx, on 11/20/2007, -5/+65I'm sure its happened before and will happen again without the major publicity. Question is, what rights will we lose because of this incident?
- inactive, on 11/20/2007, -6/+66You can thank Bratz and MTV, and current celebrity "role models" for your 11yr old dressing and acting like a slut. Maybe this wasn't the case, but this stupid celeb/whore culture affects boys and girls alike. Boys treat girls as objects. Girls dress and act like objects. One of the main reasons I GTFO out of the states. I knew my kid couldn't be brought up in this bs.
- a1a9546, on 11/20/2007, -50/+107As a mother of 10 and 12-year old girls, I find this unimaginable. I have taught them about puberty, sex and haven't got to the rape part. I am nauseated that the boys parents think it was consensual sex. We are talking about 3rd and 4th graders! And a 5th or 6th grader consented to it? And the parents of the girl "hope they are punished" .. Why is this a discussion? It should not be happening. Why on earth would children of this age be even thinking of, let alone having sex, consensual or not? I must be on the wrong planet.
- Scrappy1850, on 11/20/2007, -7/+62in 5th and 6th grade i was ALWAYS thinking about sex. too bad it took another 5 or 6 years to find a cool girl.
- mrgreenjeans, on 11/20/2007, -4/+58That's what happens when you dress your kid like a prostitot.
- Pritchard, on 11/20/2007, -5/+57Charge the girl. 8 and 9 year olds couldn't consent to inserting their penises into her vagine.
- heartcoldfusion, on 11/20/2007, -5/+55Rape sucks. There are so many different sides to this argument, and they all end in everyone getting *****. On the one hand, any man who rapes a woman is no better than an animal and deserves to be treated like an animal for mentally emotionally and physically destroying a woman. I imagine it's one of the worst things a human being can go through. On the other hand, as a guy, it's terrifying to know that if I displease a vindictive bitch in any way, she could scream rape and ruin my life in an instant, like we all saw in the Duke Lacrosse debacle. Everything about rape sucks, and it's extremely dangerous ground to cover, and great care must be taken by all sides to ensure that justice is served to the guilty party.
- inactive, on 11/20/2007, -3/+53I was once accused of "fondling a girl" during a piano recital. I had never met the girl, nor talked to her, and was in 4th grade at the time, but try to explain your way out of the situation. Most people take the female side no matter what. Ultimately, I was "free to go" since she admitted that she didn't even know me, but was pissed off since the recital was held at her house and I was showboating by playing from memory and made her look stupid (in her own home) despite her being older than me. Conclusion. Females can be really stupid sometimes. I don't know what happened in this case, but girls often believed over boys.
- daEvan, on 11/20/2007, -2/+44I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!
- Jholder112233, on 11/20/2007, -3/+42See there's 2 kinds of joking about digg users and their lack of girlfriends, the funny kind and the totally not funny kind. I wonder which your "joke" falls into.

- markp93, on 11/20/2007, -10/+45Hi, I'm Chris Hansen, why don't you have a seat, please.
- daEvan, on 11/20/2007, -1/+36Fact:
Virtually every time a woman accuses a man of rape, they are automatically believed and unquestioned.
Heck, I remember reading a story on digg not too long ago where a woman lied about being raped by a man who had both arms broken at the time and the man was convicted and humiliated over a case that was obviously impossible. - macbookpromat, on 11/20/2007, -2/+36They also tend to kill people and do crack.
- daEvan, on 11/20/2007, -6/+36Most of your friends are liars.

- inactive, on 11/20/2007, -5/+34Just so you guys know, this is in Acworth, GA, a distant suburb of Atlanta. I don't want to say GA is borderline retarded when it comes to sex crimes (because more details haven't come out yet) but..
- iziizi, on 11/20/2007, -1/+29yeah but you got boners before you could spunk right?
duh.
still i think its ***** up - i bet the dads reaction was right, the girl was embarrassed and there for pulled the rape card. - borninda818, on 11/20/2007, -2/+30Eloquent in its brevity.
- john2kx, on 11/20/2007, -2/+29Absolutely.. We need to stop teaching kids that raping other kids is OK.
- JasonCox, on 11/20/2007, -6/+33Is that even physically possibly? I mean at 8??
- tyywebb, on 11/20/2007, -1/+28http://images.dr3vil.com/files/default/pbear.jpg
- raitchison, on 11/20/2007, -1/+27Probably is possible, thanks to good nutrition (and arguably hormones in the foods we eat) kids are physically maturing sooner than they ever have before.
- Puppetfunk, on 11/20/2007, -3/+29An 11 year old girl can stomp 8 and 9 year old boys into the ground. I have a sister whose 11 and she regularly beats up the neighbor boys down the street.
- Puppetfunk, on 11/20/2007, -1/+26E. Canada
- gherikill, on 11/20/2007, -1/+25Sounds like the kids were playing a game of house or doctor. The mother of the the girl found out and went way over the line. Experimenting is part of growing up and children need to learn things on there own. I remember things like this happening when I was a kid and nobody ever got hurt - it is just kids learning about their bodies. Let kids be kids.

If that is true, then the girl raped the boys too...wtf? - ZenMojo, on 11/20/2007, -1/+23Mostly because idiots like the ones above have this exact response? Good luck prosecuting in a society that assumes all men are the equivalent of sluts and whores.
- iticu, on 11/20/2007, -1/+23Your.. uncle taught you?
