    this place where they stole it from is about 5 min from my house and no one would have noticed

    also, the original story had an interview with the guy where he said that you could easily unload all of the baitfish in about 30 mins. in any nj/nyc fish market

  • purkel, on 04/10/2009, -0/+2We had a container of canned mackerel stolen in San Diego one year. Some truck came and hitched up the container in the warehouse yard and took it. It went missing for about a month and then magically the container showed up abandoned a few blocks from the warehouse. There were a few cases missing but it turns out canned mackerel doesnt sell too well on the black market.

I could understand stealing lobster tails which cost like $10.00 per pound. But bait fish is extremely cheap and who the hell will buy it?
