The Snake Plissken Memorial Playground

myspace.com — The Snake Plissken Memorial Playground is a proposed project to build a small playground as part of a larger project to improve a local school in Kosovo (Remiz Cernica Elementary School). Now, being that no good deed comes without a price, there will be a plaque honoring another hero in history, Snake Plissken. It's already been approved.

    "As few of you know, I have been deployed to Kosovo since October. Recently, my squad has been attempting to help a local school (Remiz Cernica in Gumniste,Kosovo, not that anyone has ever heard of it.). I have been trying to get a small playground constructed on the grounds but have had trouble raising funds, getting donations, etc. I'm not expecting anything from the internet community but I just figured it was worth posting to get a little awareness about the cause. Now, being that no good deed comes without a price, my only request for my work and money is that the playground be named and plaqued in the name of the great Snake Plissken. "
