- Rockblast, on 01/02/2008, -1/+516So at 12, does your arm become a foot?
- kurupttek, on 01/02/2008, -47/+501This would have been more useful
09-f9-11-02-9d-74-e3-5b-d8-41-56-c5-63-56-88-c0 - spammishking, on 01/02/2008, -3/+341His arm will become the standard for measurements. If his arm changes all rulers must change as well
- jonathaneb, on 01/02/2008, -0/+235He'll just get a conversion chart on his other arm.
- Matrixsta, on 01/02/2008, -6/+198How am I suppose to draw a straight line with that ruler???
- senorburrito, on 01/02/2008, -4/+171the rest of the world DOES use the metric system.
- Daz3, on 01/02/2008, -7/+162The vast majority of the world do use the metric system. Only the US and maybe one or two minor countries still officially use soley the imperial system. I think the UK uses both?
- DesertDude, on 01/02/2008, -3/+146That's soooo mid '07.
- HHP2K, on 01/02/2008, -16/+146Something that only hardcore enthusiasts, DIYers, and construction-types would appreciate =)
But since I'm not any of those, that's ridiculous. Who the hell would tattoo a ruler on their arm? - dheaddy, on 01/02/2008, -2/+124Who thought a tattoo could be useful for measuring and as a means of contraception
- degron, on 01/02/2008, -3/+125That doesn't look drawn to scale.
- Fizban140, on 01/02/2008, -4/+119You haven't actually been to 4chan have you?
- HHP2K, on 01/02/2008, -18/+133Great. Digg really is turning into 4chan.
- inactive, on 01/02/2008, -5/+86What would you say if a girl in bed asks you to use it.

- GrooTheWanderer, on 01/02/2008, -2/+77Cool. My arm only measures in cubits.
- brownspank, on 01/02/2008, -0/+73Hardcore enthusiasts, DIYers, and construction-types.
- DeviantDragon, on 01/02/2008, -2/+74Yeah, I know you're kidding and all, but that code really was not significant or all that useful in the larger scheme of things. It was just a symbol that people wanted to rally behind.
- Dokument, on 01/02/2008, -3/+72im about a 7
- MurphyWatson, on 01/02/2008, -3/+69Remember Sammy Jankis
- JesperL, on 01/02/2008, -2/+59Funnily enough, if you put your foot up against your forearm (heel against inner elbow), you'll find that they are roughly the same size.
If this isn't the case, you are poorly proportioned and should be returned to the factory in exchange for another individual of equal or lesser value. - Capskid8, on 01/02/2008, -5/+60wow...and hes proud of this?
.50 cent ruler > $100+ lifelong tattoo - banmaster, on 01/02/2008, -0/+55You just tell her that "No, her ass ISN'T too big".
- Azalus, on 01/02/2008, -1/+55Michael Scofield begs to differ
- chingy1788, on 01/02/2008, -11/+63he should tattoo on a functioning clock, stop watch and scales
- zzpza, on 01/02/2008, -1/+52technically the uk went metric 30 years ago, but yes, we use both at the moment.
- jonr, on 01/02/2008, -14/+63Inches? Use the metric system, biatch!
- DarthMalcontent, on 01/02/2008, -0/+45"Well, honey, it looks like you're seven inches deep. Any more questions?"
- DarkPhoen1x, on 01/02/2008, -0/+45I find that highly offensive. Most of us were ***** morons long before Bush, give us some credit here.

The whore version of this tattoo - Flashman, on 01/02/2008, -7/+48Last year called, they want their joke back.
- Dorepoll, on 01/02/2008, -2/+43I always thought having your blood type tattooed on you if you were diabetic would be pretty useful.
- NeverOffside, on 01/02/2008, -8/+48Is that so when number 6 disappears you know it's time to pull your arm out the other guys ass?
- ChromaVita, on 01/02/2008, -0/+37I'd need a longer arm :(
- redfox2600, on 01/02/2008, -1/+33The new one is "45 5F E1 04 22 CA 29 C4 93 3F 95 05 2B 79 2A B2″
- wbgo, on 01/02/2008, -1/+32That's the beauty of the idea. If he gets fat and his ruler starts to grow, the next house he builds will be proportionally bigger and therefore still just right!
- mal1964, on 01/02/2008, -0/+29Hey how's 05 doing?
- kp606, on 01/02/2008, -2/+31No, but I think 4chan has been to Digg. Quite often.
- justintsmith, on 01/02/2008, -0/+27The common problem of Actue forearm obesity really is a killer for this idea
- ManufactrsDfect, on 01/02/2008, -0/+2705 called, and they want their "last year called" joke back ...
- digguserer, on 01/02/2008, -8/+35That's funny because my circular saw is metric and seems to cut 2x4s without any issue. Somehow they manage to build homes in the rest of the world that are built without using the imperial system. Also, if you look around, many contractors are switching to a german tool brand which is all metric (except the routers where they supply imperial collets in addition to the standard metric ones). In case you wonder, a 7-1/4 saw is 184mm in europe and a readily available size over there.
If you haven't heard, a 2x4 hasn't been 2 inches by 4 inches for a long time and I think that most people would quickly figure out what the metric equivalent is used for. Most tooling is actually made with metric components and their american versions simply have different arbors or collets. That 1/2 inch cordless drill that you have is also sold in europe..possibly with a different chuck, but most likely with the exact same chuck. Router bits are 8 or 12 MM, saws are sized by depth of cut. With a few exceptions, all tools are built with metric measurements and the user interface (collet, arbor, blade size, etc) is the only thing that gets an imperial measurement.
In terms of cars, try finding an bolt on them that isn't metric. They are all metric and have been for years. Even the cars built in the US. The reasoning for this is simple. They are easier to engineer in metric and the tooling is universally available around the world.
There is nothing special about either system. Metric is just more uniform and used by more of the world. Pull your xenophobic head out of you ass and deal with it. - arcooke, on 01/02/2008, -5/+31You're just now noticing this?
- kevyn, on 01/02/2008, -2/+27and its a pain in the arse
- sugarhooker, on 01/02/2008, -1/+26You should try to hide any embarrassment and claim its inaccuracy?
- anogenic, on 01/02/2008, -3/+27i would need a bigger ruler baby
- Zippo, on 01/02/2008, -3/+26Only three countries in this world haven't officially switched to metric.
Two of which are developing nations. -
