- RevJonathan, on 02/21/2008, -1/+75Yes Mr. Random person on the internet, I'd love to get in your old white van full of candy and go play catch the ghosts!
- davidsmero, on 02/21/2008, -8/+65Never seen a ghost or witnessed anything abnormal. Guess that's why I don't believe.
There's plenty of things to be scared of already, like herpes I contracted last weekend from that.....oh nevermind. - tendonut, on 02/21/2008, -0/+41Don't be a pussy. This guy seems legit.
- evo5racer, on 02/21/2008, -0/+40wait theres candy involved?
- jstohler, on 02/21/2008, -10/+44The true list of most haunted places would look like this:
1. [null] - mmd643, on 02/21/2008, -32/+65Buried as inaccurate. There is no such thing as ghosts.
- iHeartMoz, on 02/21/2008, -4/+36It's been a dream of mine to go on a "haunted road trip" - drive cross-country staying in haunted hotels and visiting haunted locations.
Any takers? - yohnstoppable, on 02/21/2008, -1/+31Your grandfather had terrible grammar
- davidsmero, on 02/21/2008, -1/+28You may be right, but i'm digging you down down for sounding like a retard.
- Harabeck, on 02/21/2008, -5/+32It would be cool if this stuff was true. I have never seen a spec of evidence though.
I watched ghost hunters for a while... A bunch of guys running around in the dark scaring themselves and convinced that a random blotch of static is a voice got old. - JargonScott, on 02/21/2008, -0/+27You know, at all 10 of these at some time in the past someone's said:
"And I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" - degron, on 02/21/2008, -4/+25No Stanley Hotel? That place is CRAZY!
- RevJonathan, on 02/21/2008, -0/+21There's always candy involved.
- legendxx, on 02/21/2008, -6/+26thx mr generic compliment guy
- antoniojvr, on 02/21/2008, -1/+21Maybe God threw the bottle, you heathen.
- Mufonix, on 02/21/2008, -0/+19I have been to the Edinburgh Castle, Rose Hall, Whaley House, and Queen Mary. I didn't find any of them to be particularly 'haunted' feeling (whatever that means) but they were all worth visiting if for no other reason than they are historically interesting.
- trunkster, on 02/21/2008, -2/+20***** free iPod nano ad scared me half to death....
- chrillen, on 02/21/2008, -2/+19Thanks Mr. Doesn't Understand that it's a capital i
- sindex, on 02/21/2008, -4/+19Proving once again what a bunch of asshats they are.
- yohnstoppable, on 02/21/2008, -2/+17I ain't fraid of no ghost
- vsujohn2, on 02/21/2008, -2/+16Sorry about that, I didnt know I had herpes until afterwards. My bad :(
- stonewaljacksn, on 02/21/2008, -7/+21I love how many brilliant mind opening diggers come out of the woodwork to proclaim to the world that ghosts don't exist. You are brilliant. Thank you for opening up my eyes you ragtag gang of geniuses. What would I do without all of you showing off what great scientists you are.
- seeyounorth, on 02/21/2008, -0/+14Could have used more pictures and more tales of sightings.
- Houndstooth, on 02/21/2008, -9/+23Or, the place really is haunted. I don't believe orbs are anything more than dust and I don't believe 99% of the reported hauntings. However, there's that remaining 1% where there's no explanation for the misplaced shadow, or why things are moving around, or that voice that doesn't belong that make me a believer. If you can't debunk it, explain it, replicate, or in any other way disprove it, you have to at least admit the possibility of it's occurrence and or existence.
- Dropperbr, on 02/21/2008, -0/+14English is not my first language! sry!
- MisterGnome, on 06/13/2009, -4/+17Michael Jackson's bedroom.
Ohh, I thought it was 'haunting'. - Asvetic, on 02/21/2008, -10/+22Surprise, Digg is full of hypocrites. You'll bury a story about creationism and scientology, but you'll digg one about ghosts...
- poidh, on 02/21/2008, -6/+18Next on the Digg front page: top 10 places where you might see leprechauns, tooth fairies, etc.
- JEAH, on 02/21/2008, -3/+15wow, this reply is so dumb, that it actually makes the original quote somewhat funny and endearing by comparison.
- RevJonathan, on 02/21/2008, -7/+19They're GHOST HERPES!
- FredFredrickson, on 02/21/2008, -17/+28Ghosts don't exist.
- 80hd, on 02/21/2008, -10/+20Whenever people say that someplace is haunted, they aren't saying anything except that they are willing to interpret the bizarre as spiritual.
"OOOH Orbs!!" no, that's dust being lit by your camera's flash. - stonebear, on 02/21/2008, -4/+14Prove it.
- Mufonix, on 02/21/2008, -2/+12If you are not interested, why open the link and take the time to comment on it?
- DeFex, on 02/21/2008, -3/+12I believe in goats. they really do exist!
- MCMLXXXII, on 02/21/2008, -0/+9Nice Housekeeping! They unpack your luggage for you!
- doctechnical, on 02/21/2008, -4/+13"Ghost Hunters being asshats does not prove ghosts are humbug."
You can't prove that ghosts don't fly out of my ass at night and re-arrange all the letters in your closed cans of alphabet soup, either.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I have seen none of the latter where "ghosts" are concerned - bonk2k, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8In my view ghosts have nothing to do with religion or spirituality. I'm an atheist through and through, but I know I've seen things that just cannot be explained by current scientific knowledge. Thousands of years ago no one knew how to explain lighting except through some sort of mystical sense, but now the way lightning works is common knowledge. I believe there is a scientific reason behind ghosts that we just have not uncovered, and are not yet able to uncover.
- monospaced, on 02/21/2008, -22/+30Inaccurate. Believing in ghosts is like believing in creationism.
- MadEnvoy, on 02/21/2008, -3/+11"I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts!"
- staxofmax, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8The ghosts are in his pants.
- quickshot56, on 02/21/2008, -2/+10Well, when you are in your house alone, the lights are off, and you look down the stairs into your basement and see a bluish torso lean around the corner and look up at you......that's proof enough for me
- doctechnical, on 02/21/2008, -4/+12More of a pink van, with the words "Mystery Machine" painted on it.
"...and I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for those pesky kids!" - degron, on 02/21/2008, -3/+11Who said ghosts had anything to do with creationism or scientology? Maybe it is just a parallel dimension happening at a different time, maybe it is just segments of time recorded in the foundations of the location...
- stonebear, on 02/21/2008, -0/+8I believe 1536 hot is a far cry from hot today. Careful what you wish for.
- doctechnical, on 02/21/2008, -4/+11No, look at the EMF meter! That's definitely a ghost broadcasting. And listen to these backwards recordings, you can clearly here the spirit saying "I buried Paul".
Gah. Humbug, all of it. - LeRenard, on 02/21/2008, -5/+12Perhaps it was just a bit of undigested cheese?
- lejake, on 02/21/2008, -3/+10I have personally felt the "coldness" of possible ghosts move past me in an old mortuary, but that is also a biological response to already being on-edge and frightened. It seems to me that those who are looking for ghosts are not meant to ever find concrete evidence.
- tendonut, on 02/21/2008, -1/+8Didn't Ghost Hunters visit that place TWICE?
- weister42, on 02/21/2008, -0/+7People don't believe it, but when being asked to go "ghost hunting" everyone pusses out, believers and non-believers alike.
I've visited a local abandoned insane asylum that's supposedly haunted by dead crazy people. I didn't see anything but the darkness and the rotten floor were scary as hell. Here are some pics...
