- panteradactyl, on 12/01/2007, -0/+19As soon as the price on these things drop a little bit, I'm guessing we'll be seeing alot of really stupid people showing them off on youTube doing really stupid things with them.

- Veni_Vidi_Vici, on 12/01/2007, -0/+7http://wickedlasers.com sells 300mw(avg) lasers (the spyder series). Try one of those on for size. They also sell the Photonic Disruptor.
- JasonCox, on 12/01/2007, -0/+7A Photonic Disriptor? The HoloDoc is screwed.
- Kronos6948, on 12/01/2007, -0/+7Are you referring to EMH series 1 or series 2?
- vanodorf, on 12/01/2007, -1/+8Saw this sign in a laser lab once:
Never look into a laser with your good eye ... - Thex1138, on 12/01/2007, -0/+6[Killer] Flash Light Sized 1064 nm Infra Red Laser Pointer
Invisible illumination for night vision, targeting, laser listening, excites certain crystals to produce visible laser light.
Dangerous product as can ignite many materials at impact point....Great fly and insects killer! - 10scott10, on 12/01/2007, -0/+6i am the only one who thought light saber when i read that.
- degron, on 12/01/2007, -0/+6Only $600 nice!
- moocow1452, on 12/01/2007, -0/+5You do not phase the shield, you modulate the shield! You change the phase variance of the clocking device. Patak.
- queraxus, on 12/01/2007, -1/+6You don't say ...

- Godlike, on 12/01/2007, -1/+4Unless you are the victim in the video of someone getting their ass kicked into an open sewer for lighting up your eye.
- thespudmall, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2Bah, rather have an EOD disruptor cannon to get rid of ........stuff...

- justinjstark, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2My cousin's husband used to be in the army he brought one of these home during Thanksgiving. You can easily see the green light shine on objects over a mile away and can use it to point out stars in the sky. He said they used them in Iraq to scare the enemy.

- gllopc, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2I thought the most dangerous object in The Office this month was the katana Dwight hides in the drop-ceiling.
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+2OWWW, OWWWW, OWWWW, OOOOOWWWWWWW!!
- Urusai, on 12/01/2007, -1/+3For starters, they can stop being criminals.
- mattsw84, on 12/01/2007, -1/+3Don't want to shoot em, tase em or phase em. Can't hit them with clubs or tackle them don't want them to be sprayed with mace or tear gas or shoot with rubber bullets. How would diggers purpose law enforcement deal with criminals?
- Cojawfee, on 12/01/2007, -4/+5Can't wait for all the news stories about cops who pull people out of cars and then shine these in the victim's eyes. Then say they were resisting arrest.
- shotgunefx, on 12/01/2007, -1/+2Or your bad one ;)
- Bcodms, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1What was the most dangerous object last month?
- darlyn, on 12/01/2007, -3/+4WARNING: DANGEROUS
- allaboutdatiki, on 12/01/2007, -1/+2I wonder if I can install a few of these on the roof of my humble abode ...
- moocow1452, on 12/01/2007, -3/+4Don't Phaser me, Bro!
- inactive, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1LMFAO!
- TheKappa, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1I want to see one mounted to a shark!
- stupergenius, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1Hah, the web page is OK, the product might be iffy.
- fixedcoma, on 12/01/2007, -1/+2Why not a big net that gets shot and wraps around the suspect? No foul, no play! but it does make you wonder how many counter suits would go up against the state for people suing over retina damage ? All it takes is one flash from these and your ***** blind probably for life! Expect a lot of blind motha *****'s walkin' around in the future, huh?
- dudatron, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1These are particularly effective against bears when I backpack in the upper Yukon. Have never had one stand up to a sustained lazing directly in the eye. I use a 350mW Mitchum Judicator 7040 Emerald series. Definitely the best bang for your money($3200).
- Thuktun, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1"with remaining eye" ITYM
- elitexero, on 12/01/2007, -1/+1Uhm... I have a 100mw laser sitting here on my desk. It's not really that dangerous unless you take it right in the eye.
- Dunedain, on 12/01/2007, -0/+0Are they...bad tempered?
- grimward, on 12/01/2007, -1/+1Interesting gadget.. but, it's a weapon still, with the recent policies in the US about things, I wouldn't be surprised if they did use it as others in this thread have envisioned... :/
