- mrsblonde, on 05/09/2009, -1/+12"It's a medical mystery that surgeons never got to the bottom of - how a woman patient ended up with a can of hairspray up her backside."
Obviously the surgeons have never met the internets... - com2, on 05/09/2009, -0/+9It was an assident.
- Exekutor, on 05/09/2009, -0/+8She fell on it.
- inactive, on 05/08/2009, -1/+8When I was getting my wrist x-rayed a few years ago, I asked the science type dude with the lead underpants if I could give the finger while getting the x-ray, he said sure, as long as I didn't tell anyone that he gave me permission.
He only took a picture of my wrist from the knuckles down... - spookyttws, on 05/09/2009, -0/+7Both my very conservative (Mormon) older cousin and my sister's mother in law ,who is very quite, are nurses at different hospitals here in Southern CA. At the holidays, when we get more than few drinks in them, they disclose the most amusing stories of how random people show up with random items in their anus. As expected, 90% of the time it is the result of an 'accident'. Apparently a lot of people fall and items go straight up their asses. You'd be amazed at how many of these items happen to be cylindrical in shape.
I guess it's just a mystery of life... :) - spookyttws, on 05/09/2009, -0/+6WTF is up with the pipe x-ray? Why would a surgeon call a plumber to remove something that (as stated) could easily be done by any lay person.
- nepidae, on 05/09/2009, -0/+6It was a million to one shot, Doc. Million to one.
- BalancingAct, on 05/08/2009, -0/+5Here are some more bizarre x-rays:

It's usually cans of whipped cream that get stuck up my ass. - BalancingAct, on 05/08/2009, -0/+4I dugg you up. Nothing wrong with a bit of humour.
- LonelyTylenoL, on 05/09/2009, -1/+4Positive comments deserve to never be dugg down.

- Jaysunli, on 05/09/2009, -0/+3I've seen things far worse then this.
Lightbulbs in the anus for example. - com2, on 05/09/2009, -0/+2Rule #34
- marx2k, on 05/10/2009, -0/+2Oh, I dig it! That's the obligatory "That's been posted tons of times" comment! Right on.
- PPCG4, on 05/09/2009, -0/+2I heard you like dogs...
- Myztry, on 05/09/2009, -1/+3The tap one freaks me out - as it could so easily happen to anybody.
- LegomanArt, on 05/09/2009, -0/+2Yeah, I watched that episode of Scrubs too.
- firesphotons, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1Well you can believe many of them, that list isn't even close to the crazy ***** I've seen..
- Myztry, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1I was referring to metal items in general. For instance, if they were wheeling you to the MRI room then it might be a good idea to speak up about the metal cylinder up your butt.
Powerful magnets are not the best way to get such a thing removed. - DocTerror, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1What no Richard Gere and the gerbil? Or was it a hamster?
- Bobby1978, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1But no x-ray oral and vaginal sex...
- ParticleMan420, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1hey, we're all doing our part!
- Magnus150, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1"showing the one dog inside the other dog, like a series of doggy Russian dolls "
Yo dawg. - antoni, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1I'm studying to become a radiographer (person who takes x-rays) atm and the stories I get told on clinical placements from radiographers on their night shifts is hilarious.
- dbissig, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1possibly. Since it's a fixture, not sure what metal/alloy it's made of. However, anything that's not magnetic (like, I assume, basic copper piping) wouldn't be ripped out. You wouldn't do an MRI in this case, anyways, since any conductor (copper, steel, etc.) will cause local artifacts in the MRI image - you might get an OK image of the tip-top of his head, but wouldn't get a good look at the injury.
- Wubsy, on 05/09/2009, -2/+3I accidently the hairspray.
- eejbm, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/04/24/2551 ...
- Myztry, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1I wonder about cat scans. Could the magnets potentially rip out undisclosed metallic bodies...
- ParticleMan420, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1only 8 or 9 hours after 6 other people did it!
- inactive, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1lol wow. how'd you get that out?
- cardyology, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1*****.
- maz2331, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1Was she making a video for YouPorn or something?
- marx2k, on 05/09/2009, -1/+2Obilgatory "Yo dawg we put a dog in yo dog ..." comment
- buffermaster, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1CT Scans do not use magnets - MRI does. (English CT = US English CAT btw)
- LonelyTylenoL, on 05/09/2009, -2/+3I don't think these doctors know anything about the messed up porn fetishes found on the internet.
EDIT: I don't suggest finding out actually, you won't be very happy. There just some weird people into that crap... - Myztry, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1woops. It felt wrong when I wrote it but I blanked.
So could an MRI... - buffermaster, on 05/09/2009, -0/+1As a working Radiographer in London I can confirm the crazy stuff found **cough** in some people!
- inactive, on 05/09/2009, -1/+1That guy who got caught robbing a ring, has to be one of the unluckiest criminals.
- nunlover, on 05/09/2009, -1/+1Tool - Undertow
- secrity, on 05/09/2009, -1/+1By "messed up", do you mean fetishes that you don't understand, or do you mean fetishes that are messy?
- dbissig, on 05/10/2009, -0/+0Damn. I was going to post the same thing, (well... "bark while you bark"... but the same).
- supisumed, on 05/09/2009, -0/+0Paging Ryan Dunn
