- jggube, on 05/18/2009, -18/+421If I had a choice, I'd totally be Greg right now, even at the cost of living with my parents. Wasting your life means you're not enjoying your life, if playing video games and staying up late is enjoyable, to me, that's living your life. If I work 12 hours a day, and make a lot of money, but hate it, and I do it for 20-30 more years... I've wasted my life.
- inactive, on 05/19/2009, -1/+341he must have a the awesome wolf shirt!
- rarson, on 05/18/2009, -17/+280Say what you want about a person in his scenario, but at the end of the day, it's really none of your ***** business.
- johnsmith555, on 05/19/2009, -1/+207Hmm Greg sounds like a digger
- StigNordas, on 05/19/2009, -15/+204Sounds like a perfectly normal American 24 year old.
- warcin, on 05/19/2009, -2/+189if he truly did not care what other people thought he would not have bothered with the letter
- KatherineVolk, on 05/19/2009, -5/+182I'll buy you a printer, Greg.
- vtbarrera, on 05/18/2009, -3/+163Greg must know where to find excellent pot.
- ScottMcIntyre, on 05/18/2009, -40/+184Good on Greg him for living his life the way he wants- and not caring what other folk think.
- jeremyduffy, on 05/18/2009, -15/+136"NO", I don't have a job. Points for legible handwriting though.
- GemStar38, on 05/19/2009, -4/+111Doing that at age 24 is not so bad, it's when you are 42 and doing that that your future prospects really look bleak.
- inactive, on 05/19/2009, -8/+99Live the dream Greg, live the dream.
- inactive, on 05/18/2009, -8/+97Now there’s a man with integrity. The first 4 statements maybe be truths however “Yes, I’m wasting my life anything else?” is just opinion. Sounds like a pretty nice life, minus the living with the parent’s part.
- jtscira, on 05/19/2009, -2/+84I am surprised he had the motivation to make the sign.
- johnalan, on 05/19/2009, -5/+76why don't you and greg get a room :)
- jbs3600, on 05/19/2009, -0/+65This is why it's going to be the Chinese century and not the Greg century.
- Scrappy1850, on 05/19/2009, -1/+66maybe his parents smoke pot and play video games too.
- inactive, on 05/19/2009, -3/+62I spend my time at mine (not with my parents) living just like greg wishing i was you, thinking all the what if's of life, don't sit there wishing you were greg, i can promise you its not all that.
Grass is always greener and all. - inactive, on 05/19/2009, -6/+63It's embarising when your plaing Halo 3 with a load of mates, and then your parents start coming in and owning you and tea-bagging you and your freinds corpses.
- FileAsFogg, on 05/19/2009, -0/+56From the same site....
http://burbia.com/node/2389 - smity9384, on 05/19/2009, -6/+51I give Greg six months before he knocks his 18 year old girlfriend up and moves into public subsidized housing. Then the welfare system will kick in and he'll have to sell his level 80 Shaman (along with his level 80 warrior and rogue) in order to buy diapers & baby food.
This is the new American dream. - Subduction, on 05/19/2009, -0/+42So his parents remember why they very nearly decide to shoot themselves in the head every morning.
- average650, on 05/19/2009, -6/+47He doesn't seem like he's going to do anything by the time he's 42.
- bkraj, on 05/19/2009, -0/+41Calm down Greg, we've already all seen your sign...
- bbjohnnyt, on 05/19/2009, -3/+43Yup, good for Greg. But if he was my son, he'd be living in a van down by the river instead of my house.
- billricardi, on 05/19/2009, -7/+46Hey, as long as he's not on unemployment and he's not using a bunch of publicly funded resources, it isn't anyone else's business! Good for him.
But if the unemployed bit is true, then either his parents are buying his pot for him (that's cool if they don't mind), he's lying about not working (uncool to lie, but that's his business), he's growing his own (illegal in most states, might get him in jail if he has nosy neighbors, which taxpayers will be paying for and that IS your business), or he's leeching off of the system (that's uncool, and it IS your business if you pay taxes).
Most of those scenarios are pretty depressing. I hate to be the paraquat of the conversation. :( - Natitude, on 05/19/2009, -4/+41Isn't that what all the kids do these days? Hang around and mooch off mom and dad?
- beclee, on 05/19/2009, -3/+39haha, no. i'm 24 and married, have a mortgage, and work 2 jobs to get by. i WISH my parents would let me chill in their basement and get high all day
- Seandizz, on 05/19/2009, -0/+35Thanks for showing us what lasers are.
- SteelChicken, on 05/19/2009, -3/+36You're a useless mooch and you're proud of it. Way to go.
- Scrappy1850, on 05/19/2009, -1/+3318 year old gf! hell yeah it is!
- KenSPT, on 05/19/2009, -6/+36As I sit here as a 26 year old with a well-paying, respectable, full time job, I'm very jealous of Greg ... :-(
- LadyFizzGig, on 05/19/2009, -0/+29Greg must know where to find cheap pot, cause I just can't see any parents giving their unemployed moocher son money to go get a quarter of kush.
- tomasmarc, on 05/19/2009, -3/+32No it's not. I'm 22, I live with roommates and work my as off in a job I hate. I dream of smoking pot all day and playing videogames.
Lucky Greg. And, of course, he will get a life soon :) Let him enjoy his freedom. - PeanutCheeseBar, on 05/19/2009, -8/+36Most 24 year olds I know are at least going to college if they don't have a job of some kind.
To be honest, I don't know who is more disappointing; Greg, for not doing contributing SOMETHING useful to society, or his parents for not encouraging him to do something with his life.
If he isn't living with his parents in two years, he'll be collecting welfare. - ayeroxor, on 05/19/2009, -0/+27Can't he affirm an accusation? As in, "Yes, it's true, I don't have a job." That seems to be what he's doing, and I can think of no reason why he should not be able to do so...
- jc7012, on 05/19/2009, -1/+27*adolescent
- vitoke, on 05/19/2009, -2/+27That looks like an SOS message to me.
- dangmoss, on 05/19/2009, -2/+25why would he need to post that?
- Junior612, on 05/19/2009, -12/+35More like Declaration of I'm an Adolescence.
- insertAliasHere, on 05/19/2009, -6/+29Oh, cry me a ***** river.
- inactive, on 05/19/2009, -1/+23Awesome! I get two more years before I have to worry!
- mmx2000, on 05/19/2009, -1/+23If you look close in the 3rd picture, you can see the reflection of naked supermodels approaching.
- atomicwedgie, on 05/19/2009, -1/+22Good on ya Greg... when you wake up and realize you're in your mid 30's and have no clue how real life works, you can thank your parents.
- bot001220, on 05/19/2009, -0/+21@toastoncheese
Holy *****. I just realized our whole generation is going to be those kinds of parents. @_@ - wkpower, on 05/19/2009, -0/+21too be fair, i think he must've been high at the time.
- Flashtone, on 05/19/2009, -1/+22That digger stole my bike.
- Zelf24, on 05/19/2009, -1/+22Wait a second... who is that ASCII in the distance? Could it be?...
- rhoonah, on 05/19/2009, -4/+24I'll mind my own business right up until the point he applies for welfare to support his lazy ass and his illegitimate kids.
