- 13tongimp, on 11/06/2009, -8/+41Who believes this ***** *****?
- zephc, on 11/06/2009, -3/+32it's sad people waste so much mental energy on this crap when there is so much real mystery to the universe waiting to be explored
- Rogor, on 11/06/2009, -0/+18I believe UFO hunters did a show about this, the primary source of info about it came from a known hoaxers Newton and Gebauer convicted of fraud who would sell mystery electronic devices.. with buttons which went bing! The scammed alot of investors with this baloney, they still are it seems except they are scamming diggers time now.
- zephc, on 11/06/2009, -0/+15They're not exploring anything.
- mbonzo531, on 11/06/2009, -2/+16WOOAH What is this? Theres a .... Theres a wetness coming from my pants. Im so scared. Look...Look its got you too! Definetly some paranormal activity.

- zephc, on 11/06/2009, -0/+11It's trying to bringing love! Don't let it get away!
- adamje42, on 11/06/2009, -2/+10Buried as inaccurate.
- Sornos, on 11/06/2009, -0/+7Break its legs!
- designet, on 11/06/2009, -3/+9if it crashed, its not a UFO ..
At the most, its a UO
As soon as you identify the wreckage as a used-to-be-UFO, it then becomes just an 'O'
a crashed UFO (if it existed) is an oxymoron
ironic - FitteMas, on 11/06/2009, -0/+6There is something coming out at the back of my pants.. its worm and moist.
- HeyyyJoe, on 11/06/2009, -0/+6People shouldn't immediately dismiss this as *****. I don't know if UFOs actually exist and neither do you, so how can you make an assumption? I don't go around shouting out "end times! ufos are here!", but I also dont go around calling this stuff ***** *****. The only answer I have is, I dont know.
- rocknog, on 11/06/2009, -0/+5It's because of these retards that the search for extraterrestrial life isn't taken seriously. God, you're a ***** moron if you can't understand the damage caused because scientists actually trying to find life elsewhere are seen as a ***** joke because they're lumped in with UFO conspiracy nuts.
- jp2535, on 11/06/2009, -0/+5Sure there was a giant UFO...........
- BESTenemy, on 11/06/2009, -1/+5Santa Claus is bigger than the Easter Bunny.
- boredco, on 11/06/2009, -0/+4Against: Spaceship capable of travelling between solar systems proves vulnerable to 1940s military technology.
For: The man saying it seemed very nice, and had a posh accent.
I'm sitting on the fence on this one - themastersb, on 11/06/2009, -0/+4B-b-but he has a British accent.
- Catalyst, on 11/05/2009, -5/+8The Visitors bring hope......
- GregLoire, on 11/06/2009, -0/+3Side note, but UFO Hunters blows my mind. I was a complete skeptic until I saw a few episodes. Sure, they expose a fair number of hoaxes, but some of it just seems completely without any rational explanation. If they ever run that show nonstop for a week, my skin is going to meld with my couch.
- diceau, on 11/06/2009, -2/+5Yo, 1940 Aztecs! I'm really happy for you, an Imma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the biggest UFO cover up stories of all time! OF ALL TIME!
Cool? I'm not gonna read the article, because this is obvious bs, so that'll have to do. - designet, on 11/06/2009, -0/+3what do you mean? an african or a european easter bunny?
- greggerm, on 11/06/2009, -0/+3...and they come in peace. Always.
- Intercon, on 11/06/2009, -2/+5Even though this cheesy video provides hearsay anecdotal evidence, why is it so implausible that advanced civilizations from other parts of the Universe would pay a visit to our planet?
Isn't that the exact goal of our terrestrial space programs? To further our species knowledge of the solar system and beyond through direct exploration? We are now discovering that planets are plentiful in the Universe, and that even rocky planets in the HZ are likely to be common. And yet when people claim to see and interact with technology that couldn't possibly be terrestrial, everyone says it's *****. Why?
Here are two facts that are now undeniable: first, the U.S. military has had interactions with unknown technological entities (UFOs.) Period. There are declassified materials that demonstrate this.
Two, the U.S. government is withholding information regarding these encounters from the general public. Again, this is now irrefutable. So I ask all of you who would dismiss this gentleman out of hand for his research and conclusions: on what grounds can you definitively say that there isn't a legitimate phenomenon happening here that deserves careful study and disclosure of classified materials and research being conducted with taxpayer money by all branches of the U.S. military and clandestine services?
I'd really like to hear a rational refutation of the growing evidence. - shinobi25, on 11/06/2009, -0/+2woa.
- omae, on 11/06/2009, -1/+3can we get a Kanye in here? im to tired to think of one

- FitteMas, on 11/06/2009, -2/+3Is it as gay as Ghost Hunters?
- MistySteele, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1crashed spacecraft are not ironic, but ironical, in point of fact
- jbmcb, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1yea
- boredco, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1That's deep, man
- darkfus, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1If it's on the internet, it must be real.
- designet, on 11/06/2009, -1/+2link me to proof...PROOF that is, that either of your points are either irrefutable or undeniable and i'll gladly take a look
- designet, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1then joe can't spell
- 2thoothbass, on 11/06/2009, -1/+2I Want To Believe
- Intercon, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Here is a link to a number of declassified documents relating to direct U.S. military knowledge of this phenomenon as technological in nature, and as well, allusions to secrecy being maintained by government agencies.
http://www.ufologie.net/htm/foia.htm - JarOfEyeballs, on 11/06/2009, -1/+2Not only is this a proven hoax, it also served as inspiration for the Roswell myth. For over thirty years, nobody mentioned anything about "dead aliens". The first claim of this was made in 1978. I don't care how many people will come forward in the future claiming they saw aliens or any sort of weird technology that day, unless they can show some actual physical proof of this I have no reason whatsoever to believe them.
- VnutZ, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1UFOs ... good times. http://www.omninerd.com/articles/UFO_Photographs_S ...
- FrederikNS, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1You're right sir,
But in this day and age UFO doesn't mean "Unidentified Flying Object" to the average joe, but rather "Alien Spacecraft" - BESTenemy, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Not sure. I'm gonna call my friend Jesus and find out. Hold on.
- Runew0lf, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1I do belive in faries i do... i do... i do belive in faries, i do, i do. Have i saved one?
- inajeep, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Sounds like L Ron Hubbard bought the lot and turned it into a cult.
- iskin, on 11/06/2009, -2/+3Believing in Jesus, his miracles and God are equally crazy. There are dozens who have worked at these crash sites that later confess that they technology was beyond anything they had ever seen and some even say they've seen bodies. Governments also rushed to cover up these incidents.
I'm sure, at the very least you tolerate Christians beliefs. It's hypocritical to not extend the same respect to those that believe in this "***** *****." - 1234brandon, on 11/06/2009, -2/+2"Even though this cheesy video provides hearsay anecdotal evidence, why is it so implausible that advanced civilizations from other parts of the Universe would pay a visit to our planet?"
I would think that the Universe is so vast and considering our proximity to the closest star (lead alone the closest star of a planet that could be potentially life-bearing) I don't think we are so much a wonder as some of us may think.
"Isn't that the exact goal of our terrestrial space programs? To further our species knowledge of the solar system and beyond through direct exploration? We are now discovering that planets are plentiful in the Universe, and that even rocky planets in the HZ are likely to be common. And yet when people claim to see and interact with technology that couldn't possibly be terrestrial, everyone says it's *****. Why?"
I ask you: why can't the technology we have be terrestrial? What is so alien about any of our technology?
"Here are two facts that are now undeniable: first, the U.S. military has had interactions with unknown technological entities (UFOs.) Period. There are declassified materials that demonstrate this."
How are these "facts" undeniable? I deny them. That is unless you can't point me to the way of these "declassified materials" that are demonstrative of this statement.
"Two, the U.S. government is withholding information regarding these encounters from the general public. Again, this is now irrefutable. So I ask all of you who would dismiss this gentleman out of hand for his research and conclusions: on what grounds can you definitively say that there isn't a legitimate phenomenon happening here that deserves careful study and disclosure of classified materials and research being conducted with taxpayer money by all branches of the U.S. military and clandestine services?"
How is this irrefutable? Just because some tells the same lie over and over again doesn't make it the truth!
"I'd really like to hear a rational refutation of the growing evidence."
I'm ready to see some actual fact back up these allegations. - trolleyfan, on 11/06/2009, -1/+1You should probably see a doctor about those worms...
- octowussy, on 11/06/2009, -1/+1io9's really got it out for The Fourth Kind, which is funny since it's such a prominent Digg sponsor.
