- stinkybrinker, on 11/14/2007, -3/+51Is wearing dead rats really a trend?
- Depthfunction, on 11/14/2007, -1/+37Too Arabic; didn't read.
- doctechnical, on 11/14/2007, -3/+37THAT'S NOT A LIGHTBULB, CLEARLY IT'S A CONTROLLED IMPLOSION!!1!
- f4nt0m4s, on 11/14/2007, -0/+34I have an annoying trend/complaint.
What the ***** is up with all these "text to chat", "text to win your prize" or "text for ringtone" crap I see on MTV or at 3 in the morning on Comedy Central these days. I mean, phone sex I can kind of understand, but if you are texting a "hot" phone girl to get off you need to kill yourself. And seriously, all the ringtones you can get are for really ***** rap songs. What the hell is going on? Are people stupid enough to text for this crap? - burstaneurysm, on 11/14/2007, -1/+33Neither is grammar, apparently.
- jamesmcm, on 11/14/2007, -5/+32TL;DR isn't a new phrase. 2007? It's been used for years.
- Uranium118, on 11/14/2007, -3/+30UGG boots.
- enicholas, on 11/14/2007, -1/+27I was stupid enough to watch it the other day. Now, I have a strong stomach. I can watch surgeries and autopsies no problem. I find goatse.cx distasteful, but it's not nauseating. Tubgirl is nasty, but it's just an "Ewww, gross [close browser window]" kind of nastiness, not an "oh god I'm going to puke" thing. I've been on the internet long enough to see people with heads crushed to unrecognizable pulp and various other truly horrific stuff. And while I don't enjoy seeing stuff like that, I'm past being shocked by any of it anymore.
So, I thought, how bad can 2girls1cup really be? I had no idea what it actually contained, but I'm a man, I can handle a nasty video... right?
So, I watched it. I'm still haunted by the experience. 2girls1cup is so ***** disgusting that it makes goatse and tubgirl seem like polite topics for a dinner conversation with the in-laws. It is the only thing I have ever seen in my life that made me physically nauseous. I couldn't look directly at the screen for fear of vomiting, and I was queasy for the rest of the day as the images kept popping into my mind unbidden.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Surely I'm just a wimp, and you're a real man and you could take it. Don't. Seriously, don't watch it. It is the single most revolting thing that any two humans have ever done with each other since the dawn of man, and you don't want to see it. Trust me. You. don't. want. to. see. it. - LaueOfficer, on 11/14/2007, -1/+26Wow, did anyone else see that coming? nah, totally creative.
- LaueOfficer, on 11/14/2007, -0/+22No, you aren't, but apparently what you did NOT notice was that the author comments about how he notices it too and how ironic it is.
- dagnabbit, on 11/14/2007, -7/+29It's only been demonized because the crowd that adopted the word as its label is a bunch of ***** idiots.
- exomni, on 11/14/2007, -6/+28Ugh, didn't bother reading this ***** because there's only one trend that truly sucks: making Lists in place of actual essays and real journalism.
- crackedplastic, on 11/14/2007, -0/+19Another crap article from DoubleViking trying to imitate Cracked.com. Get some better writers and a fresh perspective and perhaps things might take off.
- bagelpirate, on 11/14/2007, -4/+22FTA: "TL;DR; It's a new phrase that's emerged this year"
It's been around a lot longer than this year. - Balath, on 11/14/2007, -2/+20I thought Jenkem was a hoax. In fact, I was convinced the whole list was satirical after reading the first four.
- MikeyisaFag, on 11/14/2007, -10/+27Am I the only one who noticed two of the things on the list, "lists" and "TLDR" prevention are actually present in the article?
- ChromaVita, on 11/14/2007, -0/+17Crocs
- sterntastic223, on 11/14/2007, -0/+16Also clearly he followed the TL;DR trend with that comment
- euro22, on 12/17/2008, -15/+30TLDR
- king3vbo, on 11/14/2007, -2/+16Those guys put Jenkem on the list! LOL!
...you do realize its a hoax, right? - inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+13These are mere hand-me-downs in 2007. They hit their popularity peak a few years ago.
- Pureeviljester, on 11/14/2007, -2/+14ah "retard rap"! now i know what to call it, thanks!
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -9/+20Personally, I find great amusement listening to Rosie preach about 9/11. Especially considering she's incapable of formulating a complete sentence via her blog, and anytime someone called her out on The View - she had them removed from the audience.
- nicko68, on 11/14/2007, -0/+10I hope they're not sharing a spoon. Germs and all.
Sick. - inactive, on 11/14/2007, -1/+11#1 worst trend: THE INTERNET
the internet has turned from a valuable source of good information into a social disaster of blogging, networking, spamming.... riot of ***** - Shade00a00, on 11/14/2007, -8/+18Ironically, being a list, this article is also one of the bad trends of 2007.
- mlvassallo, on 11/14/2007, -0/+10I would like to add a 10th please. Digging anything that is published on DoubleViking.com.
- Urusai, on 11/14/2007, -2/+11None...IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!!! WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!!
- voetsjoeba, on 11/14/2007, -3/+11Nobody will tell you, you'll have to see for yourself. That's the beauty of it!
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+8It actually does get better once the girls start puking in each other's mouths
- inactive, on 11/13/2007, -0/+8what did u watch the whole thing... "hm, i hope this gets better, it probably will in the next 5 seconds!"
- edd17, on 11/14/2007, -2/+10i'd like her to explain why it was physically impossible, she is obviously a forensic engineer
- whymanwhy, on 11/14/2007, -1/+9OH LAWD IS DAT SUM JENKEM
- ronaldinho, on 11/14/2007, -0/+8I can only read the word "sex"
- Unlgued, on 11/14/2007, -0/+8High bandwidth goatse.
- doctechnical, on 11/14/2007, -2/+9Personally, I prefer the term "Troofer". It has a certain... anti-gravitas.
- Balath, on 11/14/2007, -0/+7Aha! That was my reaction, but then I thought, "Maybe that it's a hoax is the hoax."
- COinOR, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6dugg for #6 & #7 - i'm tired of celebrities thinking their opinions increase in validity simply because they're famous
- joejoesick, on 11/14/2007, -1/+7Uhh, the Daily Show was running repeats this year LONG before the writer's strike...
For a while it seemed like they were on one week, then in repeats the next. Now we all know to look for the date in the opening credits. No date listed = not a new show... - BlackJackJester, on 11/14/2007, -2/+8Rosie talking about physics = win.
- chaos7, on 11/14/2007, -4/+10add the phrase "not so much" to this list please!
- inactive, on 11/13/2007, -0/+5i need to leave digg asap
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -5/+10ronpaul 08.. tehe
- Adamness, on 11/13/2007, -0/+5I'm scared that if I click that link I'll somehow end up on a watchlist and monitored by the NSA.
- inactive, on 11/13/2007, -0/+5I think one of those was a trigger word. Hoping it was "sex".
As an aside, I think that was the most off-topic comment I've ever not read. - worldsbestgamer, on 11/14/2007, -2/+7This list is *****. Ask snopes. http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/jenkem.asp
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -9/+14How many truthers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
- seandfeeney, on 11/14/2007, -1/+6crocks...
- gherikill, on 11/13/2007, -3/+8I prefer FRAT -***** reading all that
- davidlow, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4No, what sucks even more is commenting about lists about trends.
