X ray revealed her bladder was VERY full, the drugs had fried her brain to the point where she no longer knew how to urinate.

            I would find this story really, really hard to believe had you said she did this with meth -- a far more dangerous drug.

            I have no idea why you're getting dugg up. That is by far one of the most uninformed statements I've ever heard regarding E. MDMA is a very safe drug to use in its pure form. It in no way "fries your brain." The only thing it's been linked to is a decrease in serotonin levels in certain parts of the brain after heavy and frequent use. This is the nothing more than one of those scare stories such as "kids stared into the sun on LSD until their eyes melted" and "marijuana turns you into a rapist."

The injurious thing about comments like Annath's is that legislators believe them, then pass legislation based on those beliefs (see: outlawing of marijuana.) The tragic thing about comments like Annath's is that the legislation passed on the basis of comments like hers cause a very real lack of education about drugs, as well as a complete lack of safety regulation and screening, so the girl in Annath's story, if she was real (and she may well have been), didn't know what E looks or tastes like, and had no way to tell that the black market 'dealer' at the rave she attended sold her a tainted drug, which caused her to suffer.

            Now, simply replace "Annath" with "Keith Schuchard" or "Susan Rusche", and her example with any of the thousands of real incidents where people have died because of dangerous 'cutting' agents or rampant impurity, and you'll see just how real this self-fulfilling prophesy is.

        And of course, if one were to buy $2.7 million worth, all the prices are grossly inflated as you would probably pay at upper-range wholesale prices at that level.

Not that coke couldn't, but meth would have a greater physiological toll due to the severe strain a meth user puts on their bodies through staying up extended periods of time, poor diet, etc. Coke would, generally, take longer to wear your body down.

If they had chosen non-round numbers, say, $31,983 per pound of cocaine, it doesn't work out so nicely.

The meth is ~$1500/ounce so you'd be able to get around 112 pounds for 2.7m dollars. The coke around $700/ounce so you'd be able to get about 241 pounds. I could go get Oxy for around $5/pill so thats like 540,000 pills.The adderall . . . thats around $1/pill, the math on that one isn't very hard. Like I said drug prices are odd, and vary greatly depending on where you live.
