As investigative reporter Max Fuller has pointed out in his detailed examination of information buried in reams of mainstream news stories and public Pentagon documents, the vast majority of atrocities then attributed to "rogue" Shiite and Sunni militias were in fact the work of government-controlled commandos and "special forces," trained by Americans, "advised" by Americans and run largely by former CIA assets.

- mojoel, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Well they are terrorist groups and most of them consider themselves armies. Did you expect they'd have pictures of cheddar cheese or maybe flowers?
- Akaji, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Actually, the Rebels were the terrorists...
- mohamedmansour, on 10/11/2007, -11/+23Hezbollah, Hamas, and Fatah are not terrorist organizations ... They are all fighting to resist their own country. So if a country comes and attack your country or steals your country. Those organizations are there to protect or get back that country. They are no threat to any other country in the world except the country who is occupying or fighting in their land.
- dagnome1984, on 10/11/2007, -8/+19They forgot one: http://www.spacewar.com/images/halliburton-logo-bg.jpg
- sovereign3, on 10/11/2007, -4/+15They do have a militant wing that is involved in terrorist activity.
- Bossy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12Here is another terrorist organization that existed some 200 years ago. http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/u/us-sonsh.gif
They are the Sons of Liberty, the same people who we today call our Founding Fathers.
We can't label everyone who is against his or her own country a terrorist. It's wrong. It should be a free world, people should have rights to over-throw their government. - Chompy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Well, branding *is* important, especially if you want to capture that crucial "6-12" demographic.
- Ninnux, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Love the AK's on the logos. Thanks former USSR.
- svcdt, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10For some reason i can't take the Animal Liberization Front seriously...

- NativeAlien, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Sickening how many of them mention the name of Islam in their titles. For the most part they are doing nothing but promoting their own selfish interests and hiding behind the name of religion.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Where's the Judean People's Front logo?
- catalysis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Terrorism is defined more by methods than motive. Intentionally targeting civilians is the primary indicator.
- mancat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Well they got ALF but they probably should have continuned on to PETA.
- Matthew720, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Terrorism is a label invented to provide those in power with the tools to silence dissent.
Was the French resistance in WWII a terrorist organization? What about the Boston Tea Party, was that an act of terrorism? - Bokista, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Not enough gradients, reflections, or sans-serif fonts to be 2.0.

Did I just try to apply modern Earth rules of war to a fictional war in a galaxy far, far away? Damn I'm a nerd... - Durinthal, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6And here I thought it would have been something like this: http://icons.amanita.net/gallery/d/687-2/i_plane_ny.gif

Now we have to kidnap Fox Reporter. - Dougman82, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Boricua Popular Army's logo (under "Other" category) somehow reminds me of the G.I. Joe logo
- MarkOfTheDead, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5i'm surprised no one managed to work an exploding car bomb into their logo, with all the guns and cross-bombs and skulls, you'd have thought that would have already been a tapped resource.
- treelovinhippie, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Yarrrr! http://www.ironicsans.com/images/terror-logo-05.gif
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Nah.. that was IEDs in pastel shades and rounded corners. We're moving on to 3.0 now.
- sovereign3, on 10/11/2007, -6/+10Don't Digg zooxbeirut down though. He is mostly correct. Fatah isn't recognized as a terrorist organization by many governments, including the United States and Israel. However, Fatah is closely related to organizations such as al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and the former Black September group, which are classified as a terrorist organizations.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Wait... is it just me or does that sound like a Borat movie tagline?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I always wanted to know if they would free Alf from his captivity. Of course then he'd eat their cats and tell lame jokes so maybe not.
- raz98, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Irgun, Lehi and other Israeli militant groups in the 40s, were considered terrorist organization by the whole world, mostly because of assassination
of British and Arabs civilians and officials, bombings of buildings, massacres, sabotages, etc. These organizations later formed/integrated into IDF. - NiX0n, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Only when the terrorists start omitting vowels from their organization names.
- Detritus, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6One of the comments there brings up a fair point for discussion.... Al-Qqsa Martyrs Brigade uses M-16s in their logo, and not the more typical AK-47. I did a search on this and came up with their financial report:
http://haganah.org.il/hmedia/10apr05-mlm-fatah-a2.pdf (On page 8 of 11)
M-16 bullets are about 1/4th the cost. The fact that the American Rifle is cheaper to maintain than the Chinese AK-47 knock-offs surprises and titillates me in ways only a terrorist financial report can. - wpi97, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Are you saying that the Arab governments that attacked Israel numerous times, starting with the day after Israel was declared independent, *can* be trusted? Are you saying that Hamas and Hezbollah who openly state that their goal is the destruction of Israel can be trusted? Think about it: a country has been in a constant state of war for 60 years since the day of its creation. Almost the entire population of Israel has to go through a compulsory military service risking their lives, and its military spending is through the roof. Do you really believe that the government of Israel or its people *want* to live like this? The main problem is that most palestinian factions and most Arab governments will accept nothing less that Israel complete destruction. Accusing Israel of not wanting to make piece with people who do not accept its right to exist is the real hypocrisy.
- smackhero, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4and this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Idf_logo4.jpg
- PommyBrit, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4A lot of those aren't terrorist organisations, and a lot of those that are are mssing.
- Matthew720, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7I know a guy named Subjective who'd disagree with you.
- wpi97, on 10/11/2007, -5/+8Oh, I don't know... Their actions?
- republicker, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Should be noted that the M16 though cheaper to maintain is not nearly as reliable in harsh conditions as a AK. Also they are much easier to aquire. I would chose an AK over 10 m16's in the desert any day of the week.
- Matthew720, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Just because you don't hear about something or see it on TV , doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

- giggity22, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3That's simply an invalid and ridiculous comparison, as the Sons of Liberty did not have murdering innocent civilians (aka unbelievers) as a stated goal. You can, however, make the argument that they were civil criminals responsible for property damage and riots. (Although many bad/violent actions attributed to the Sons of Liberty were actually done by self-serving individuals who simply used the name)
- wpi97, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3"Fatah is an extension of the Mossad"?!?!? Well, now I have heard everything. You sir are truly insane. Make sure you have your tin-foil hat on, so that the zionists can't control your mind.
- sovereign3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Coincidentally enough, the United States provide aid and assists in training Fatah forces.
- zooxbeirut, on 10/11/2007, -18/+21Fatah isn't a terrorist organization.
- Azimuth1, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7"White Arian Resistance"? Isn't that tautological?
