Teachers carry guns in Texas school district

azcentral.com — Students and faculty have kicked off the new school year in Texas' Harrold Independent School district...and this year some of the faculty members are armed. Superintendent David Thweatt says that the district believes the school's rural location makes it harder to get help quickly if a dangerous situation develops.
