Exactly. We live in a stupid judgemental society.
But keep in mind that the stories involving the girls, the audience immediately makes the judgement against the guy, which is wrong. In reality, the girl could've made the moves on the teacher knowing exactly what she was doing. People think 15 year olds are dumb, when in reality they aren't. "He took advantage of her," is what you typically hear.
Like the girls on myspace that pretend they're 19 and meet with the older guy.. they know what they're doing.
It's kinda like the issue of girls raping guys. People go, "Yeah right, you're lucky," but if a girl calls rape, her evidence can go entirely unreviewed and people automatically judge.
