- Rich711, on 12/14/2007, -4/+113I think I saw this movie. Teacher stays late grading papers. Cleans chalkboard. Hears a door slam. Footsteps, checks the hall, sees no one. Goes to get her bag. Over the loudspeaker "Welcome to the Jungle, you're gonna die!" Music kicks in. Camera spins around room. She runs down hallway. Lockerdoor opens. Machete swings. Head rolls down the hall. Thud of body hitting floor. The End.

- haterofps3, on 12/14/2007, -3/+7Wrong
Just because she has never heard a Guns & Roses album is no reason to fire someone, her reaction to the situation was rather wise. She heard someone say into the intercom "Welcome to the Jungle, Your gonna die", She locked her door and called the police.
She said afterwards that it would have been way scarier if it hadn't been a prank. Meaning that she understood the humor in what had happened and was able to see past being scared to death.

As soon as we got there, we spoke to the three kids. They understood."" YES OFFICER I AM SURE THE TEENAGERS ALSO FOUND BEING HANDCUFFED AND ON THE GROUND TO BE side-splitting.
- skatastrophy, on 12/14/2007, -0/+34Either you had spell check intervene with "side-splitting" or you're paying on a per-letter basis for caps lock :p
- fasda, on 12/14/2007, -0/+5well in retrospect it could seem funny.

- haterofps3, on 12/14/2007, -6/+1It isn't abuse, They were on school property after hours and using school equipment (ie the intercomm) to cause mischif. There was what three teenagers and the officer had to investigate to make sure no one else was in the school should he take the ***** disturbers with him?
- funkyjunk3, on 12/14/2007, -0/+1ahhhh, thank you. A good tasing feels goooood....

- blup3ace, on 12/14/2007, -0/+7*taze* *taze*
- briguymaine, on 12/14/2007, -6/+11sometimes kids need a good cuffing by the cops.
- barius, on 12/14/2007, -2/+5What, no tasers?
- mranime, on 12/14/2007, -5/+4The teenagers were temporarily detained (not arrested, detained) for questioning while the police tried to figure out exactly what happened. The officer in question wasn't referring to cuffing the teenagers as "humorous", but to the whole situation. It was a misunderstanding. The kids thought they were alone, the teacher thought she was alone. Oops.
Cute how you omitted the part of the article that stated the teenagers were released after the fifteen minutes of questioning and will not face charges. - da_bradler, on 12/14/2007, -0/+1Yeah because there is a lot of difference in being thrown on the ground and being "Detained" and being thrown on the ground and "arrested"

- RuckusNutz, on 12/14/2007, -7/+3I don't see the irony. Please explain.
- drgmdp, on 12/14/2007, -1/+13nobody said irony
- RuckusNutz, on 12/14/2007, -2/+3Then why would it be "more hilarious"? Continue to explain.
- sabach, on 12/14/2007, -0/+4He means that November Rain is clearly the most mind-numbingly frightening song in the GNR songbook.
- RuckusNutz, on 12/14/2007, -0/+2I'm still not sold on November Rain being "more hilarious" in this situation. I had November Rain played on piano during the processional at my wedding and no one did any thing crazy or irrational (except me having November Rain played at my wedding). Even at the wedding if I were to have played Welcome to the Jungle, it would have been far more hilarious than my poor attempt at humor and satire with having November Rain played. I just don't see how November rain could be "more hilarious". Maybe I should just drop it, but I probably won't.
- RuckusNutz, on 12/14/2007, -2/+3Then why would it be "more hilarious"? Continue to explain.
- drgmdp, on 12/14/2007, -1/+13nobody said irony
- da_bradler, on 12/14/2007, -0/+2It would be most Hilarious if it were "Chocolate Rain"
"it was so scary he just kept going and going, either he was leaning away from the microphone to breath or he was a MONSTER! I played it safe and called the police"
- RuckusNutz, on 12/14/2007, -7/+3I don't see the irony. Please explain.

- haterofps3, on 12/14/2007, -1/+2While it is a good thing no one has been tasered today what does that have to do with this story! Not all officers are power drunk and lasy, that assumption is dangerous and wrong. Treat your law officials with respect, as for the majority they are doing their best to protect you. Know your rights that way you will know when they are being violated so that you can report it.
