- dillyhoo, on 11/26/2007, -4/+73Because nothing says "badass" like riding around in a Lamborghini with 200,000 miles on it at 15mph.
- ChromaVita, on 11/26/2007, -1/+33In Russia the cabs are usually Volga's. Also a friend from there told me that the taxis drive you. I'm not sure what that means...
- WordsnCollision, on 11/26/2007, -2/+21Where would your suitcase go... roofrack on a Lambo?
- Drkboarder, on 11/26/2007, -0/+11Actually it makes me want to become a taxi driver, get behind the wheel of one of these, pick up my dead Uncle Bernie, say he needs a ride to Canada and never return...until my B-rate 80's sequel is finished.
- ChromaVita, on 11/26/2007, -1/+10Wow, coincidentally enough, Dictionary.com has a very similar definition...
- shaun1018, on 11/26/2007, -0/+7dillyhoo is obviously Dictionary.com
... have you ever seen them at the same place at the same time? - dillyhoo, on 11/26/2007, -3/+10I define oxymoron as a figure of speech by which a locution produces an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory effect.
- Negyxo, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5who are you talking to?
- mr5150, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5Do I also get an Indian/Pakistani/Arab Driver reeking of B.O with those rides? If so I'm in cause that's authentic.
- AriaStar, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4I'd pay more for a ride in the Lambo just to say I've been in one, but not for the rest.
- rjosal, on 11/26/2007, -1/+4If traffic is gridlocked, crawling at 15mph at the time... but if not, a lot of taxi drivers have a vision problem where white signs with black numbers on them are automatically taken to the third power before being processed.
- brstilson, on 11/26/2007, -0/+3Excuse me, but what's so special about a Chrysler 300C?
- mwalker05, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2the 2nd to last one is cgi. a pretty obvious one at that. they may as well have put the taxis from the 5th element on there
- DaviDaviDaviD, on 11/26/2007, -1/+3Even in a lambo you're not going any faster through London or any major city for that matter.
- Vich, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2I was hoping for one reminiscent of the taxis in the 5th element
- MaruLono, on 11/26/2007, -1/+3why pay more when you can get PAID for a ride on cashcab?
- thomashauk, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1What you really need for London is a bike.
- etsa, on 11/30/2007, -0/+1Sure helps paying for the loan for the car. LOL
- vyralinfection, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1It looks like a RR Phantom, 'till an actual phantom pulls up next to you, then it just looks like a chrysler
thats the appeal - VinayM, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1whoops: http://www.madwhips.com/lamborghini-murcielago-cou ... ...
- keozen, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Would I pay extra? No
Yeah, I'd be driving around in a swish car, but it's still a taxi. - gl77, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1taxis here already charge about 2.50 per mile, (took one to the mall one day, which is about 10 miles away and the bastard charged me 25 bucks) and they are just beaten up old crown vics. so no i wouldnt want to pay 300 bucks to go 5 miles thank you very much.
- badwithcomputer, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1sitting in the back of some of those cars might not be too comfortable. sitting in the seat might not smell the greatest.
- thomashauk, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1A bike isn't public transport unless its a rickshaw...
You know you own a bike, not publicly owned - Scogras, on 11/26/2007, -3/+4All I can say is TAXI!
- holyskeleton, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2i was hoping to see a limo...with on board maids.
- Scogras, on 11/26/2007, -2/+3Would it ya think?
- VinayM, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1There are a few more pics where the Lambo taxi photo came from.. This was on Digg before!

http://www.digg.com/offbeat_news/PIC_Which_Taxi_Ca ... - jamble, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1I wonder how much more they charge you if you're drunk and throw up in one of those..
- essjay, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1The poor build quality?
- brstilson, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1No, that's a feature in everything Chrysler touches. Therefore, not special.
- socbookmark2007, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1I can image a Pizza place using the Lambo TAXI and giving a 10 minute delivery time from the order.
- Mrlncognito, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Mercedes Taxis appear all around the world...
In London people are registering their Aston Martins and Ferrari's as mini cabs (Not the same as black cabs, no need for a taxi sign on the top) so they don't have to pay the congestion charge (Save around $3200) a year...Those cheap rich bastards - compuclean, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Why pay for the ride? Go to a dealer, and take one for a test drive - you drive it yourself, and it's free. Nice.
- z0mbie2099, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1There's a hooked up Crown Victoria that always flows around the city in NYC. They should have included that.
- andre321, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1As proven by Top Gear, public transport ftw
- Jeebugorn, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1i dont see the big deal. most taxis in the europe (well the countries i've been to in europe that is) are Mercedes. so seeing a 300 as a taxi really doesnt impress me.
- rdsgc, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1In Greensboro,NC we have BMW 740iL running around as a taxi....
- MunkeeBoy, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Most of these drivers had to turn their respective cars into taxi's just to keep up the repayments I'm guessing...
- SPThom, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1...no.
- Elliuotatar, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1What dealer is going to let someone test drive a lambo without first checking one's credit?
- Jeffler, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1He's referring to the fact that the majority of front page articles come from a small percentage of the digg population.
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1"Would you be willing to pay more per journey if all taxis looked like these?"
Journey? Log the ***** outta WoW. - flxfxp, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1NoobieDoobieDo

Fail. - variable, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1These taxis probably reek of vomit and old fast food as much as the less luxurious ones do.
- ihatecookiies, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0i loled at the monster wheel taxi
- razrielle, on 11/26/2007, -2/+2I would never take that taxi because it looks more dangerous then a SUV
- smrt173, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Sadly, No.
- shaun1018, on 11/26/2007, -2/+2You're an oxymoron!
