- shifty2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+64WTF...
no wonder this kid failed school, that was probably the dumbest ploy ever. just as bad as robbing a donut shop full of cops.
did he not realize that even if he managed to successfully steal the report card that its still in the school records...
the word FAIL does not begin to describe his baffoonary... - webcure, on 10/11/2007, -2/+58Sounds like a low tech plan.
- FBMGriever, on 10/11/2007, -1/+51This is pathetic. Like failing at failing.
- Slovenian6474, on 10/11/2007, -0/+42Sounds like he needs to repeat more than just one year.
- TheThestral, on 10/11/2007, -1/+41I applaud his enthusiasm.
- secretwhistle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+38Oooohhhh....
That's a paddlin'. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+37Are you implying that his McJob© is not intellectually stimulating and challenging?
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/11/2007, -1/+29Usually dumb people fall into petty crime but this kid is too dumb for petty crime. That's pretty sad.
- Stano, on 10/11/2007, -2/+25Buffoonery. This will definitely have to be my Word of the Day.
- modestgeek, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23If only he put that much effort into working....
- outhouseinput, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22The high tech ones fail too. At a high school around here, these kids hacked into the grade program and changed everybody's grades to A's. They had to steal a teacher's laptop to do it, and threw it in the lake behind the school thinking that the evidence would be destroyed. However, the school had cameras and they all got caught and expelled.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -4/+18Because report cards are such a hot item on the black market these days...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16Solution: instead of getting drunk and screwing around, study.
- MikeonTV, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15It happened in Germany but the picture is clearly of Korean students. Thats the real scandal.
- nobarcode, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13What I notice most about this, is that he convinced a group of people to do his dirty work for him.
Sounds like a young "crime boss in the making" to me.
What he learned from this is that he should have had his thugs make the teachers "an offer they couldn't refuse..." He also learned that you need to instill in your thugs a fear of reprisal for ratting you out. - oxdeltaxo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12It doesn't surprise me that this kid was going to fail if his plan was to steal the report cards, the marks have already been put into the computers system and can't be changed easily. Kinda dumb that he didn't take that factor into account maybe he should repeat the grade based on that alone.
All aboard the fail boat! - rrife, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Has he not seen any movies.....you're supposed to become friends with the computer geek, who, in return for your friendship, uses his dial up modem to connect to the school computers and change the grades.
- JCSaint, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Anyone else curious as to why it's a picture of a classroom full of Koreans next to a story about a German school?
- SKrypto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7you're a donut?
- TheAkolyte, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10When it happens in movies is cute but when it happens in real life its wrong?
- Tallon29, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9Might not be bad for identity theft.
- nyx210, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Not only that, but his idiot friends ended up getting arrested for such a stupid stunt... And I'm almost certain that his parents found out, so now he's in even more trouble than if he just simply flunked a grade.
- Snarfy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+8It's too bad they don't teach right from wrong in school. I guess it wouldn't matter. He probably would have failed that class too.
- timusca, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I'm struggling to figure out who's dumber... the student that planned this whole thing or the retards that actually agreed it would work and tried to pull it off!
- Codasco07, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Clearly he wasn't the stupidest kid in the class...
- hmmmok, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Nah, the risk of this kid stumbling upon Global Thermonuclear War is too great.
- moxley, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Another dumb ***** who's seen too many movies.....
- DephexTwin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The Darwin award does not require you to die, it just requires you to take yourself out of the gene pool before you procreate. If he had somehow gotten himself bashed between the legs with that crowbar, he would be a candidate for an award.
- chatmasta, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2lol.
- Sabretou, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Some might call him stupid. I call him Hero.
- jlebrech, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Ironically their inteligence was the thing that caused them to get caught and made them get the low grades in the first place.
- Xemus83, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I think you've been reading one too many Billy Mumphrey stories.
- venezian, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1when will people get it.. Darwin award is given when you DIE as a result of doing something stupid or one of those 1 in a billion situations happen.
- Klarth, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Oh, wow, I really got things juxtaposed up there.
- bcbrin20, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1granted stealing the report cards wouldnt have saved him from getting held back, it would, however, have delayed a serious ass whopping..(assuming he had parents like mine)..cant knock the kid for trying to squeeze out one more day
- ultrafez, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Well at least he'll have something to tell the grandchildren.
- pw1388, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1He needs to become an hero. Then i will repect him. lol
- Cornedbeef, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Doing the school year over is now the least of his problems.
- Klarth, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Wait, Asia isn't in Korea?
- starvo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Ah great, another one to add to the ever endless "Germany or Florida" list.
- jason469, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Ha! the kid put in a lot of effort in that stunt.....if he would have put some effort into his school work he would have passed. Darwin award? maybe.
- jmpeagle, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2so, the report cards were the only record of his grades? HAHAHAHA No wonder that guy is flunking.
- DephexTwin, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2This story has it all. Love, deception, greed, lust and unbridled enthusiasm.
- AbsurdWreckage, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0What? If the report cards are already made and recorded, how could he steal them? Should have built a time machine. Duh.
- timusca, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1@calcheesmo
I think the original plan that this story is based on is more like a Boy Meets World episode. - Splitt3rxx, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1what an hero.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Nice.
- Stano, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0Not real smart. No wonder his grades are so poor.
- Calcheesmo, on 10/11/2007, -7/+3@outhouseinput
That sounds like an episode of Boy Meets world. Mr. Feeney laid the smack down. Oh, classic american television. - Adrianc333, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1He would have had to Re-Do the test again anyway, more than likely.
