- sameer768, on 06/27/2009, -0/+39They should be able to keep the 5000 Euro prize money.
And more importantly, Paris Match should research the entries more before choosing winners. - jersey, on 06/27/2009, -1/+22Pics at the following link. It's in French, but will do.
http://paiement.parismatch.com/photoreportage2009/ ... - Maxamegalon2000, on 06/27/2009, -0/+21Both in this case.
- Phoenix462, on 06/27/2009, -2/+22this article is rather useless without pictures.
- lucutus, on 06/27/2009, -1/+19How are you going to have a story like that about a picture without the picture?!?!?
- DiggMasterJ, on 06/27/2009, -0/+12Because they speak French! come on people!
- LiquidSpark, on 06/27/2009, -0/+10Well done on the part of the students.

They are worthless to me! - CarStan, on 06/27/2009, -1/+10how are you able to post this on every new submission?
- BladeNd64, on 06/27/2009, -1/+8I can't see French pictures. Can someone translate them for me?
- Pinkertinkle, on 06/27/2009, -0/+6need link to pics of students prostituting themselves, preferably female
- guinpen, on 06/27/2009, -2/+8pics?
- ShellShock11, on 06/27/2009, -0/+5To be honest, I can see why the magazine chose those. They are done well. How the hell would they know they were fake just by looking at them? Sure they could have done some research but I'm sure that they received a lot of entries, and in addition someone was TRYING to fool them. There have been countless instances of bad reporting in the media but I just don't think that this is one of them.
Just my $0.02. - agequodagis, on 06/27/2009, -1/+5"If I'd written all the truth I knew for the past ten years, about 600 people - including me - would be rotting in prison cells from Rio to Seattle today. Absolute truth is a very rare and dangerous commodity in the context of professional journalism." - Hunter S. Thompson
I think that sums up what the news media's real purpose is. Not to give the absolute objective truth but to placate everyone with either what a small group of people want to hear or an over sensationalized drama. All it takes is a couple of students to throw back a corner of the curtain on the affair and the people who are a part of that system will be upset. - piieerrrree, on 06/27/2009, -0/+4
DISREGARD, jersey's got it

- brownsound00, on 06/27/2009, -2/+5What do you hope to achieve with this comment? You've been on digg for over a year, have you ever seen a comment complaining about an article getting to the front page received positively?
I mean, seriously. Does you whining do anything other than get people to bury your comment? Yes, so the article didn't get any comments and reached the front page. That's the ***** algorithm. If you have an issue with it, take it up with the digg front office. No one gives a *****.
/rant. - bro2baseball, on 06/27/2009, -0/+2I hope they end up getting that prize money....

- f54280, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1> Strasbourg en 2008 : plus grande université de France où étudier signifie parfois précarité.
Starsboug 2008: biggest French university where studding means precariousness (precariousness is French politically Correct term for homeless)
> « ça m’est arrivé plusieurs fois le soir, en fermant la fac, de mettre des étudiants à la porte... Je sais que c’est pas facile pour eux, mais j’ai pas le choix... » Gérard, agent de service.
"It happened several time that, in the evening, when closing the university, I had to kick students out... I know it is not easy for them, but I have no choice" Gerard, cleaning assistant
(If you read those, just reply, I'll translate the rest) - 510dustmite, on 06/27/2009, -0/+1*****. yes.
and ***** those vice -magazine-reading poverty fetishists. - f54280, on 06/28/2009, -0/+0You don't seem to have any idea on the level of "reporting" done by Paris Match. Why should Paris Match apply a higher standard of journalism to submitted articles than to their owns ?
- portusbres, on 06/28/2009, -0/+0o man now next time someone wins a photo art price every jury member will be like: Photoshop
- inactive, on 06/27/2009, -1/+1I love it when old people get owned.
