- otakuflip, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35These were done by street artist Mark Jenkins.
You can see some of his work on his website: http://www.xmarkjenkinsx.com/
there are also videos on how he made some of the tape people and people's reactions to them. it's pretty cool. - raabco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27I'm not sure how these could be considered 'pranks'.
Very cool street art, yes. - Bobwise, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20yeah I don't see any pranks.
- Tonydev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I'm still wondering if "real life" was a necessary descriptor in the title.
Also, last time this showed up it was listed as "Street Art" and even credited the artist. Imagine that. Shame be the day my art becomes a "practical illusion prank." - adiqiucorp, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13little old pictures, funny though
- TheDrunkMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Old AND Blogspam. Hello intentional google click-fraud. It is the only way people will learn to stop writing crappy articles (or in this case stealing old pictures) and submitting them to Digg.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -2/+7Wow..that last one was creepy.
- shirosamurai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6And here I thought this would be pictures of those awesome drawings they do on the sidewalk where it looks like there's a big hole in the ground or something. Not to knock this guy's artistic 'style', but this is just kinda got my hopes up... not to mention there's no prank OR illusion.
- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Dude, don't be so sarcastic, it's been at least a couple months since I've seen this on front page.
- vtlunchbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4i dont want to sound like a complete dumbass but can someone please explain this click fraud thing to me i would really like to know.
- strikerK, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6the one with the guy's head in the wall is the best
- ekosystem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Sad that they don't even credit the artist on that blog page.
- beatphats, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3SIMPSONS DID IT!
http://digg.com/design/Street_Artist_Installs_Fake_People_in_City - everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3art, not really pranks.

- dpknc84, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've never seen this, so stop crying about it. Some of us haven't.
- filmtex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Old news-very old news, and not a prank, but a very creative and talented guy nonethless. Digg 2006=AOL 2000.

- habitat2050, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd say its most likely clear masking tape wrapped first sticky side out around a manikin then wrapped again sticky side in.
- timlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, I recognize a lot of those landmarks! Apparently they take place on the streets of Washington, D.C.
- benijuana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1seemed very banksy-ish
- digidelia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1can anyone tell me that the clear figurines are made out of?
- shm0edawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I predict this will make it to the front page at least three more times in the next six months. It's already been on the front page twice.
- datcrazydj, on 10/12/2007, -10/+10It's always nice to come to Digg.com to find new content.
/sarcasm - ghjkl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1some were very beautiful, in the artistic sense. i didnt like the clear, glass-like figures too much, but the "hidden-human" figures are great. it is similar to the genre of art i do, so i appreciate it very much.
and yes, the last capture is the best haha. i wish that figure would react to motion sensors and jump out of its hood; i like seeing little kids get scared, its funny. - Razster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1OFN
- wierdaaron, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4..So I pranked him. I pranked him in the head with a tire iron!
- Spo8, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1By the way, these are from Graffiti Research Lab, the same people that brought us LED throwies.
- silouette747, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2I liked this the first hundred times it was on digg.
