- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Even more at http://pic.bestpicever.com/piles/?s=funnygrave (plus these)
- bigfkncee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12what ad?
- HUKI365, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Sorry, mate. Spamming might work sometimes, but Kevin'll shut you down real fast for using "digg" in your url...
- zella, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7HA!
- dygel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I've seen something on that Davis memorial before. If I recall, the story goes that when John Milburn married his wife Sarah, he was marrying up -- and her family loathed him for it. The guy was anything but a lout, though, and ended up making more money than his family ever thought possible. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, it was to spite his in-laws that he continued embellishing her memorial until he died, as if to say to posterity: "I did this for her when they couldn't."
- vornan19, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4 a....pinch more, I bet.
- diggmaddy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5How about the Taj Mahal?
- wordfish, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4just goes to show you cant disgrace the will of a dead man.
I used to walk by that clothespin factory mentioned in the first one, everyday before school. - donkeyshow, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I was expecting a few gravestones with dirty limericks inscribed. Here lies a man from nantucket...
- mr1337, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I know none of you probably even care, but the Davis Memorial in Hiawatha, KS was made by a great uncle of mine. I grew up not too far from Hiawatha.

- SgtQuackers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Might as well have some fun and confuse people if your going to go out.
- donkeyshow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3A phallus? Ok, i'll remember to write this into my will: "My gravestone is NOT to be a wang-like structure"
- tonaros, on 11/14/2007, -1/+4You, sir, have failed to comment on the actual content of this Digg. Therefore, you have been dugg down as punishment. Enjoy your burial. We'll make a strange gravestone for you.
- VivemurpH, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3He could add this one located in Montreal!

- JEWestbrookJR, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The Davis Memorial is in Kansas (my home state)... and always makes these top weird grave lists. If you want to see a REALLY weird grave that is also in Kansas, go look at the Garden of Eden in Lucas, KS. http://www.garden-of-eden-lucas-kansas.com/ My family owns a house close to it, so when we're on vacation we almost always go. This guy built a huge art cabin. When his wife died, he stole her from her grave and burried her under several tons of concrete. The authorities figured it was more trouble than it was worth to try and recover her (and had no proof) so they just let it go. When he died, he had himself mummified with charcoal and had his body put on display in a tomb he built in his backyard over his wife's grace. Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures of his mummified corpse as photography is prohibited to encourage tourism. But if you're in the area, definitely go. It is pretty sweet.
Also, on roadside america http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/KSLUCeden.html - vidorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2When i was 17 me and 3 buddies where finishing up a late night of pulling golf balls from the local courses pond. We had all had a little too much to drink. On the walk back we pass a mausoleum for some odd reason that night we went in. One of the crypts was open and empty so my buddy got in it screwing around saying now i lie my down to sleep pretending to be dead.
Well we went back the next night for more golf balls and stopped in the mausoleum again. This time the crypt was closed and the name on the plaque was the exact name as my friend who was in it the night before.
Dude freaked so bad he cried like a baby. The guy was 51 years old who died and my friend swears to this day he will die at 51. - vidorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2double post digg down
- Nephalem, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I thought for sure hunter's freak fist would be on this list. How much stranger can you get than your ashes in a rocket ship made of a two thumbed fist with a dagger for an arm, being launched into high atmosphere and blown up in a shower of color.

On a side note: an ACTUAL Strange tombstone.... http://fc01.deviantart.com/images3/i/2004/151/b/7/Graveyard_Evening_shot_4.jpg (Kindly forgive my face in the way...) - kazamx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Spike Milligan....Funny Guy.
You know the Vicar wouldn't let them put that grave stone up for years as he said it wasn't appropriate. - tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -1/+2R-r-r-r-r-r-rock me Amadeus.
- braddial, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0If true, that is awesome. Would have been hilarious to be there for that one.
- vidorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Very true was really creepy that night but the next day was funny as hell. He didn't even have a common name which was even stranger. His first name was Dallas. Come to think of it we never stole anymore golf balls after that either. hehe
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1This is why you have to take precautions when you play board games.
- jandyboy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2that was really cool...man now i don't want to be cremated ...just laying down in a cool grave.
- FSBO, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0They’re sure are a lot of alive people spending way too much time where the dead ones are.
Just an observation… - jdmiller8207, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Creepy. I used to work in Medina, TN (lived in Jackson, TN) Never saw the graveyard though... Then again I never looked for it either.
- picsectionpleez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Bwahahah! That was funny man. Thanks :)

- Miyazaki, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Let's all take a guess how much more money that guy that owned the factory made in his life than MasterTheif117 will make in his.
