- Feep, on 02/16/2008, -2/+36Yeah, till you realize that this is merely the story of "Ship Gets ***** Owned" with the pictures rearranged.
- inactive, on 02/16/2008, -0/+29This is a better pic story. TUG BOAT goes under bridge:

- minnymoo, on 02/16/2008, -13/+40there was a ship, it survived a storm, the end.
- Flashman, on 02/16/2008, -2/+27Here's the story from earlier this year: http://www.surfersvillage.com/surfing/32053/news.h ...
"On Dec. 4, a Coast Guard crew on a training mission found out first hand just how treacherous Morro Bay can be. The crew's 47–foot rescue ship–a "Motor Life Boat" built to withstand the roughest surf–was out on a training exercise, jumping 12 to 15–foot waves, when it got slammed by a mammoth whitecap." - PerfektXj, on 02/16/2008, -1/+21mirror http://m3.bestpicever.com/piles/?s=throughwaves

I quit. - funkyjunk3, on 02/16/2008, -0/+11Yep, they're the 47s, and a very cool boat they are. This is Morro Bay, thoughl
- fxu1989, on 02/16/2008, -3/+13Buried for innaccuracy.
There was a boat, it survived a big wave, the end. - makkaveli19, on 02/16/2008, -6/+16bah i can do that with turtles strapped to my feet.

- funkyjunk3, on 02/16/2008, -1/+11http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_lifeboat#Modern ...
These are truely incredible machines. They're built from the ground up to be slick, fast and long-distance. They've got the most advanced marine technology out there, and they can roll with the waves, withstanding even the worst storm surges. - nospinhere, on 02/16/2008, -0/+9Actually it's Coast Guard training. They do it all the time at this location because of it's waves. I forgot the exact location, but I am sure some astute digger will help us out.
- piratesarefun, on 02/16/2008, -2/+11*obligatory joke about how the website is not "still standing" with a comment on the low number of diggs needed to take it down*
- ronpaulblogscom, on 02/16/2008, -2/+10I think I have whiplash from just watching that.

- DeskFlyer, on 02/16/2008, -2/+8Were these shot at Cape Disappointment by chance? That looks like a Coast Guard 47-MLB.
- mal1964, on 02/16/2008, -1/+7 I Think We Are Going to Need a Bigger Boat!
- PeTeRZz, on 02/16/2008, -1/+7Holy *****, it went completely vertical. How did the captain not fall out?
- tribble222, on 02/16/2008, -1/+7No, it's definitely shopped. I can tell by the pixels, and having seen a lot of 'shops in my time.
- Frost9999, on 02/16/2008, -0/+5Also it's 5 pictures, the first two are the same image, just cropped in a bit for the second one.
- vroom101, on 02/16/2008, -3/+7HUGE wave they wish would stand still -- then "melt" away!
http://www.photolib.noaa.gov/htmls/wea00800.htm - inactive, on 02/16/2008, -3/+7I'm certainly no fan of MrBabyMan; I only digg stories I find interesting, as I'm sure do most other diggers. Good for him that he submits great stuff.
- D3koy, on 02/16/2008, -8/+12***** with the system, or finding interesting things so that we all might learn something? There is a reason he's on the front page a lot....he submits some awesome stuff

- jordn, on 02/16/2008, -0/+3those guys must have huge balls to steer their ship through that.
- Eiknujrac, on 02/16/2008, -5/+8Clearly Photoshopped. The reflections are all wrong.

- dssstrkl, on 02/16/2008, -0/+2Actually, those Coastie boats are designed to be capsized and right themselves.
- yannicwalter, on 02/16/2008, -0/+2I guess fun to watch, but not so much fun, when you're actually in the ship.
- odganarb, on 02/16/2008, -0/+2If you are to be joining our ranks, I'd suggest you do away with your weed usage.
