- richkidd, on 10/11/2007, -3/+126Darth obviously heard about the dark side of bottled water. The amount of petro it takes to produce the bottles and ship the water from the cool springs of Endor is really contributing to the warming of the galaxy.
- ssavoy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+80He's one of those product testers, give him a break!
- wild, on 10/11/2007, -3/+78This is the first time i have ever seen something on Digg that the 45 year old woman with zero internet savvy in our HR department has had hanging on her desk for over two years.
- Platysquirrel, on 10/11/2007, -3/+69Ever since he got fired from the Death Star for strangling too many interns, finding work has been tough.
- MeMongo, on 10/11/2007, -3/+60That's actually a picture of "Chad" Vader after he was fired from his night manager position at the grocery store

I met the guy who created this image, he visited one of my classes in college. This is a still shot from a 20-second clip that was on TV in Europe sometime in the ’90s. Darth Vader is filtering the Black Sea with a Brita filter. He scoops up seawater, lets it filter a few seconds, pours it in the bottle and then empties the bottle back into the sea. The futility is the point: the black sea is one of the most polluted bodies of water on earth, apparently. - Platysquirrel, on 10/11/2007, -8/+49Boo Blogspam, Hooray beer!
http://stopgeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/sense.jpg - NOCTech, on 10/11/2007, -2/+31I find your lack of faith disturbing.
- Anrkist, on 10/11/2007, -3/+31Yeah... so he's trying to avoid salt water, yet stands in it. Very logical.
- fragsta, on 10/11/2007, -4/+301. Dude gets drunk
2. Puts on Darth Vader costume
3. Goes out to the beach with a Brita filter and a bottle. He's drunk, remember. Perhaps he plans on going to a desert island.
4. Falls asleep on the beach.
5. Wakes up with a killer hangover, really needs water. Still hasn't noticed the costume in his dizzy state.
Simple as. - tHePeOPle, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20He's in your ocean, filtering your salt.
- Speedy7, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20Darth Vader: ... No...I am your water supplier...
- thestorey, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20DDDDDDouble POST!
- DeeX, on 10/11/2007, -6/+24You already said that.
- Zipko, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18Alcohol can explain a lot of really strange situations
- Asianwaste, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17Personally, I think it would be awesome if there was a brita filter that would warn you with an audible message of James Earl Jones reprising Vader saying: "You have filled me for the last time..."
- guythomas, on 10/11/2007, -15/+31If elected, Ron Paul would ensure every man, woman, and storm trooper would have their own personal filtration systems.
- kniwshmdcknit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15I like this one better. http://fantasygoat.livejournal.com/46706.html
Also, I like how the guy spells out everything that's wrong with the picture; as if we're supposed to go "oh, he's in a Darth Vader costume. That's also very strange." - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13Behind you? That was you?
- akatherder, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16It's performance art to link things together that make no ***** sense. Here's his website:

- DinX, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I find the lack of sense in this picture disturbing
- WoollyMittens, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12You haven't been coming here for very long, have you? :P
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Hey, he's Vader, not Spock.
- noisey, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10I like this one better

- Takteek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7With this special filter its just the ocean! See!
- RussellDovey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Well, it used to be called the Coon Sea, but there was trouble. So they changed it to Negro Sea, and, a few decades later, there was more trouble.
Luckily they've found a name that no-one can be offended by: the (Eastern-European) African-American Sea. - burkay, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7priceless...

- FastZ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5How could you possibly have called that?! Something is fishy here.
- dadrew1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Yep, that is definitely some flippin' sweat there
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5A better example of picture making no sense would be the one from 4chan where the guy in a full suit is smiling and holding a sewing machine in one hand while there is a car stuck in the river behind me.
- meatmcguffin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Couldn't have been at a more perfect time!
- dev3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4So Many diggs!! Sense, it makes not!
- wiihateeveryone, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Also you don't have to be darth vader to realise that its not safe to drink. Even homer simpson eventually found that out.
- Suplyndmnd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5"Come to the dark side, we have filtrated water"
- SteelFrog, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Well they're three minutes apart, so I'm guessing it was intentional.
- djpants428, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Well, he's filling it with salt water, which is not all that good for drinking. The brita filter won't remove salt from the water..
- sexybobo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3they dont call it the black sea for nothing
- Otto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Because it's the black sea.

- corkdorkdan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I didn't know that a Brita could desalinate. The world's water supply problems are over!!
