- MixMastaKooz, on 06/10/2008, -3/+45Actually, having trained people how to ride on segways and given tours on one at a science center, it was kinda easy to pick out the one who would fall (in all probability). If you look how she rode, she did two things wrong:
1) Never lean into it too far: she leaned into that segway way too hard too many times. She was almost leaning over the bars: a big no no.
2) Never overcompensate: after she realized she went to fast on several occasions, she overcompensated and that made her unable to control herself when she ran into the other segway.
I guess you can add a third one: overconfidence. She thought she could really push it and be ok. You just can't do that on a segway - diblasio, on 06/10/2008, -3/+44Do you write for Family Guy?
