It didn't last long. - inactive, on 01/22/2008, -8/+220Maybe this will shut up the people that keep saying Scientology is no worse than Christianity. You can say whatever you want about Christians without them coming after you. Go ahead and publicly criticize Scientology and see how fast you disappear.
- TTURabble, on 01/22/2008, -0/+192Religious Freedom Watch is a Scientology Organization FYI

All my 7 proxies were on that list - dinobot, on 01/22/2008, -4/+122Bam to behold, a public bulletin board, built of both brilliance and barbarity by bastards with boners. This bastion, no mere bulwark of boredom, is a brutal barrage of blistering *****, barely benevolent... But behind the bigotry and boobs, beyond the bitter broadcasts of bragging buffoons: here be the body politic. A brotherhood of blasphemy, blessed with more balls than brains, battling the bland, the bogus, the benign. Bedlam? Bring it on. But i babble... Better to be brief. You may call me /b/
- RyeBrye, on 01/22/2008, -1/+112So.... I take it that "religiousfreedomwatch" is a clever front for a Scientology organization? And they aren't smart enough to know what a proxy IP is? (If the answer to the first question is "yes" - then ignore the second question... it is implied by the first)
- zephc, on 01/22/2008, -1/+98Tom Cruise control?
- wbeavis, on 01/22/2008, -0/+96Hey they missed Anons main IP, 127.0.0.1. Hit them there and take down their entire organization.
- adamrgolf, on 01/22/2008, -4/+94major lulz are being had.
- thebacon, on 01/22/2008, -0/+89how come they don't sent Ethan Hunt to investigate ?
- Marcateyou, on 01/22/2008, -2/+90What? Did you honestly think it would be over $9,000?
- ApokalypseNow, on 01/22/2008, -1/+83News about a cult, link goes to religiousfreedomwatch.org
Sometimes this stuff just writes itself. - pintomp3, on 01/22/2008, -2/+83cheap bastards. exxon offered a lot more to deny global warming.
- SaladCactusKing, on 01/22/2008, -3/+80Did anyone have a mirror or screencap? Anon took 'em down within minutes.

caps lock is like cruise control for cool. - adamrgolf, on 01/22/2008, -2/+64Turn self in for cash... don't live long enough to enjoy new laptop.
- yerbestfrend12, on 01/22/2008, -2/+64Anonymous is legion. Anonymous does not forgive. Anonymous does not forget.
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -13/+73We live in the present, so TODAY you can say what you want about Christianity without fear. Were you ever personally tortured for your disbelief? At one time, the leaders of the Christian church did some bad *****, but in todays society its perfectly acceptable to bash them, without retaliation, while today if you mention Scientology, you are guaranteed a lawsuit or worse.
- zephc, on 01/22/2008, -2/+62Oh yeah? I will offer $5000 and/or a hearty handshake to anyone who destroys the Church of Scientology, gets the leaders arrested and convicted, and turns the Hollywood Celebrity Center into the Hollywood Shelter for Wayward Kittens.
- alkajazz, on 01/22/2008, -0/+58Then Tom cruise gathered all the anons and packed them at the bases of a million volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs killing all the anons.
- Yaanu, on 01/22/2008, -0/+58I believe RFW is owned by Scientology. Didn't it use to be the Cult Watch Network or something?
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -19/+74I think scientology is a pretty cool guy. eh kills lisa mcpherson and doesnt afraid of anything.
- Virak, on 01/22/2008, -1/+56No, you can catch *an* Anon. Quite easily, in fact. The problem is that you can't take down 'Anonymous' as a whole for a variety of reasons. It's too large and distributed to be feasible to just take everyone down individually. The fact that anyone can be Anonymous just by acting like Anonymous makes it impossible to contain its growth. And you can't take down key points in the organization because there is none; almost everyone is largely independently working towards the same goal, with no specific person in command. Any sort of group or structure is ephemeral, briefly created for a single task and then ignored after it is completed.
Trying to defeat Anonymous would require a massive international effort, on a scale that would make the 'war on terror' look relatively minor. (And would probably be about as effective, because in both cases you're fighting an idea and not a real enemy.) - simVsim, on 01/22/2008, -1/+54So, anons, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun!
- reparsed, on 01/22/2008, -0/+51it was "Cult Awareness Network". It used to be legit, then Scientology sued them into bankruptcy and bought all their assets, including the name, phone numbers and all their records.
- jmaxwell, on 01/22/2008, -3/+53>AS A RATIONAL SOCIETY WE MUST BAN TOGETHER
