thestar.com — Annis and his wife, Juanita, were surprised to receive a Christmas card, mailed from the United States, that was addressed to "Hick in the Woods." Not only that, but the envelope went on to give their address as: 1 tree past the squirrel's hole, 3 runs past the deer lick, 1 leap over the felled oak tree.

While on vacation, I addressed a postcard to "House with the pink flamingo on the mailbox" (with the city and state too). When I got home from vaca, the postcard was there waiting for me. Wild.

  • rudedogdhc, on 01/03/2009, -1/+2My mother once sent me a letter and the only thing on the envelop was my name and my phone number. No address, city, etc. Somebody along the way scrawled "nice address" on the envelop, but it still got delivered to my apartment in Edmonton.
