MMA is not some brainless beat down, it's a sport that takes years of learning and training multiple disciplines of marital arts. Not only that, the UFC isn't the only sanctioning body within MMA, take a look at Dream and Affliction. MMA isn't just restricted to the Southeast United States, it is truly a world wide, multicultural sport. Do a little research into something before you just go an run your mouth, it will make you look like a more intelligent individual.
