- Dradis, on 10/22/2007, -0/+62"Mr Croucher says a lifetime's supply of beer works out to a carton a month."
No it doesn't. - Siraf, on 10/22/2007, -0/+55I can see the thief returning the computer.
- PawFox, on 10/22/2007, -1/+44I Found Him, His IP address is 359.33.9.234
- hackntossh, on 08/27/2008, -0/+25"Mr Croucher says a lifetime's supply of beer works out to a carton a month."
Has Mr. Croucher ever been to college? - Mentosan, on 10/20/2007, -0/+19Does it come with a liver?
- MikeonTV, on 10/20/2007, -1/+20The amount I drink in a lifetime will exceed anything that was on that laptop in dollars.
- alabamasucks, on 10/20/2007, -2/+17Guys like me? I'm a guy like me!
- wattznext, on 10/20/2007, -0/+13Marge...in a lot of ways you and i are two different people...
- TomK88, on 10/20/2007, -0/+10A case a month? I average two a week. :(
- VeritasAequitas, on 10/20/2007, -1/+11Its in response to a post on digg earlier today I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was a post about CSI and how outlandish TV is sometimes with technology.
- screwzluse, on 10/20/2007, -0/+8But free beer for life would make up for that. Gotta have priorities and be willing to make sacrifices.
- floridiot2, on 10/20/2007, -0/+7How much is a carton?
- vkuuumar, on 10/19/2007, -1/+7Maybe I should return it now.
- finbec, on 10/20/2007, -1/+6Especially if it is sold in cartons. I typically buy mine in bottles.
- WaterDragon, on 10/20/2007, -0/+4Must be really lousy tasting beer.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/20/2007, -0/+4I tried googling cartons to liters but it didn't work.
- EmileVictor, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4Wrong, it's more like a large box of beers.
- SebHughes, on 10/20/2007, -0/+4That should win comment of the day. Had me laughing for a couple mins.
- dolemite5005, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3Nevermind I think I found it:
Slab
* A carton of beer. Or box of 24 stubbies or cans - floridiot2, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3He has to be arrested then.
- frimple, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3way to take the fun out of digging some one down just because you get the joke...
- MarkOfTheDead, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3He doesn't have a problem, he has a solution.
- Eleniatari, on 10/19/2007, -0/+3Cartons are usually a box of 12...or 6...but usually 12 that I've seen.
- PaperMonkey, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3Sir, as a Canadian I must take offense to not only your lack of knowledge of the stubby but your blatant disregard for its awesomeness.
It is quite awesome in its Geoffishness. - PaperMonkey, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3Um... you have privacy agreements that proclude you from informing the police about stolen goods crossing your work station? Man.. That is an impressive level of dedication...
- Matsky, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3In Australia a carton is usually 24 bottles (or stubbies) or 30 375ml cans. I assume it would be the same in NZ.
- xtc46, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3I agree.
1) turn self in
2)beg for probation
3)
4) free beer! - megahurts4, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2Similar story, if not, a mirror (didn't get to see the original): http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story.cfm?c_id ...
- muskawo, on 10/22/2007, -4/+6a cold one goes down well with a big serve of fush and chups, bro.
I hope they give the person who gets the reward a chullybun to put it in. - stevea1210, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2To alcohol, the cause of...and solution to..all of life's problems. ep4F15
- SundayTrain, on 10/20/2007, -1/+3Can I opt for a lump sum instead of the annuity?
- ipodman715, on 10/20/2007, -1/+3I think Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht should help.
- Cogboy, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2I have not heard Fush and chups before. however those aussies always say 'feash and cheaps'
Also in regards to ***** sheep, NO U - allan17, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2@amenhotep
No, the highest is 255... - BigBadaboom, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2Australians have a big country, but a limited imagination. In 140 years, it seems they've only been able to come up with two jokes about New Zealand:
1. "Fush and chups",
2. We are all sheep-*****. Tee hee.
- gregnorc, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1by carton do they mean a box of 24 packs, (probably around 4-8)
or one 24 pack?
Because I don't consider myself a heavy drinker, but I blow through more than a case a month! - inactive, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Duffman says Oh Yeah!
- frimple, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1I didn't see Wisconsin anywhere in the story summary. Also google confirms that it's a city in New Zeland.... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Rotorua+&btnG ...
- expatcatalyst, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1That's a month supply??
- grantmc1, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Do you have to be of drinking age or can anyone apply
lol! - dolemite5005, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1How much is 1 carton of beer?
- expatcatalyst, on 10/21/2007, -0/+1xtc46 said it above: 1) turn self in
2)beg for probation
3)
4) free beer! - Kardall, on 10/20/2007, -1/+2I think a carton of beer in NZ is like a bottle of Pepsi. Approx 395ml to 425ml something like that. And I agree, "NO!" it isn't a lifetime supply of beer. If it's 300/mo. then sure, i'd go for it :) But hey, free beer is good in almost any fashion.
- mbradbury, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Luckily the drinking age in NZ is 18
- allan17, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Think up a good story first.
- mbradbury, on 10/20/2007, -0/+124 or 30 here in Aus.
- Brodels, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1The NASA one is impressive, but those other two guys are absolute legends.
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1I have several kiwi buddies and somehow I don't picture 12 brews as lasting them a week, much less a month! Maybe the reason he had his laptop nicked was because he's a cheap SOB in the first place!
- morpheus69, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1What idiots... I assume they want the laptop back because of some confidential information on the hard drive. But what's to stop thief from backing up the hard drive first, and then returning the PC and collecting his reward? He could have his beer and drink it too...
