Gilligan: "Gee Skipper, I thought we could have a white Christmas with all this snow that washed up on the shore in these little bags. So I decided to open them and spread them on the beach..." - raid517, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I know some of the more tight ass digg members will digg me down for this, but the secret to cocaine - like all things - is moderation. This 'just say no' message doesn't work - as at aged 39 most of the people I know have pretty much taken cocaine casually for most of their lives. By this I don't mean every day, or every week, or even every month (why does there have to be a schedule to these things anyway?) - but at parties, special nights out, weddings and celebrations and so on). It's not even compulsory then - but not that many people I know, see it as being that big a problem.
Can you and do you get idiots who go overboard, like some do with alcohol? Yes of course you can - and yes it definitely does happen. But like any behavior if you repeat it too much, be it gambling, drinking alcohol, smoking too much cannabis (and yes too much of this really can be harmful too), or whatever, if that is the only thing you make your life about and the only thing that interests you, then there is no doubt that eventually it is going to ***** up your life.
I'm not sure I could say the same thing about heroin, or crack or stuff like that - as messing with that sh*t probably will ***** your life up anyway - but cocaine itself has I have always found, been much more difficult to get addicted to. (Again providing you are sensible).
Of course my ultimate advice is to stay away from all drugs and alcohol if you can avoid them - as in the end no matter what - even if you don't get addicted to anything, you will still probably loose much more than you will ever gain by taking them. However if that is not possible do, then you should at least try to be sensible.
On another note. This would present an interesting moral dilemma if any ordinary person ever found this. I mean who here would hand it into the authorities - and who would try to sell it?
I would like to think I would do the right thing - but then again, since I don't know the next time I'm going to have half a million bucks in spare change to throw around - I would probably definitely spend at least some time thinking about it. - Vulch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15"The clear cellophane was covered with barnacles."
Very, very MANIC barnacles. - trghpy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+19Why is this so amazing?
