- lulzitsadigg, on 01/10/2009, -1/+115Maybe he was a ninja..
- PNooch, on 01/10/2009, -2/+66Haha too funny they must feel like idiots
- inactive, on 01/11/2009, -2/+63Seems like they need to find a balance between empty sheds and emptying clips into unarmed people.
- rayln, on 01/11/2009, -0/+48"...she thought she saw her roommate's estranged boyfriend enter the shed with a gun."
how the ***** d'you imagine that?
were there some serious shadows going on or lady was high or something? - whatthefu, on 01/11/2009, -0/+46Dugg because the title made me laugh.
- freefallgrue, on 01/11/2009, -0/+32I expected this to be an Onion article. Dugg because it's not.
- Phalanxia, on 01/10/2009, -3/+25I'm not surprised. By the look of that thumbnail, notorious annoyer of malekind, Oprah Winfrey, was "Back on the Best Life", trying to recruit people to join her nefarious plans to bug men everywhere inside the shed.
- sigg14, on 01/11/2009, -0/+21I wonder how many times they tazered the shed before it stopped resisting
- ignisatra, on 01/11/2009, -0/+14The shed was probably holding a rake hostage.
- AlpineStars777, on 01/11/2009, -0/+14I see my getaway plan worked perfectly. *Tents fingers*
- wassim2k, on 01/11/2009, -0/+10How are Oprah and her trainer related to this story?
- jericko, on 01/11/2009, -1/+11Don't miss the new Fox Show; When Sheds Attack!
- Ajajadude, on 01/11/2009, -0/+8Obviously she was seeing what he wanted her to see.
- katerpilar, on 01/11/2009, -0/+7*facepalm*
- Nattybumpoe, on 01/11/2009, -0/+7Disregard comment, I repeat, disregard -- I have said something unoriginal!
- Blandyman, on 01/11/2009, -0/+7He wasn't saying they shouldn't have answered, or that it was wrong for them to have had the stand-off...
He's commenting on the fact, that for you to be in a stand-off for three hours and not even have someone on the other end, must make you feel like an idiot.
If I were a police officer I would've done the same thing. But I would've felt like an idiot, too. - sheldonnbbaker, on 01/11/2009, -4/+10How is this the cops' fault? Had they arrived then immediately left on the notion that it was unlikely there was anyone in the shed, everyone would be on their backs the minute that someone got hurt or killed.
Good on the cops for doing their job. - Elliuotatar, on 01/11/2009, -0/+6How would they come to the conclusion that it was unlikely anyone was in the shed without there actually being nobody in the shed?
- 4sakenaiden, on 01/11/2009, -1/+7I almost want the estranged boyfriend to actually find them w/ a gun now, just for those dumb idiots wasting the cops' time
Oh, and -5pts for making me look at Oprah on here - hyderalamgir, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6Set it on fire and wait for the screams!
- Nattybumpoe, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6Obviously they were chasing a ninja
- Blandyman, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5Don't take jobs away from firefighters!
- icemanxp, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5With aluminum siding i would say they would have to get the temperature down to 1.2 kelvin before it would stop resisting.
- AmazingSteve, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5There you go. Somebody's Mr.Grumpy pants today...
- DrunkenPirate34, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6I'd rather have the city waste my tax money sitting outside a shed for three hours than have them ignore it/storm into shed/house and have them get shot or killed.
- Miff, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6Thought this was an Onion article.
- Heiminator, on 01/11/2009, -2/+7better safe than sorry
- ortucis, on 01/11/2009, -2/+7"how the ***** d'you imagine that?"
This can be explained in Scooby Doo Adventures, Episode-1092837..1. - jhshukla, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5then how did that woman see him?
- analogkid01, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6My thoughts exactly...keep the cops occupied with cats up trees, just keep them from swinging their tiny pricks around.
- onux16, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4but a three-hour long mistake? Really?!
- Elliuotatar, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4I live in Mnachester NH, and here there was like a six hour standoff with cops outside a house with nobody inside. It was near a school and someone said they saw a guy with an uzi go into the house.
- solid12345, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4"Good job lou...you'll make sergeant for that"
- calebhawk, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4wizards are so crazy
- greenleaflink, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4That's what I thought too...lol.
- ladyarcher85, on 01/11/2009, -1/+5So, what does Oprah have to do with it? (refers to the thumbnail)
- SniperZero, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4you didn't see him but he saw you.
- onClipEvent, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4it's actually not that uncommon...there was a similar incident in Vancouver a couple of years ago...many hours at a house, and no one was inside.
- dlan4327, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3I wonder if the cops saw the funny side...
- WinterEdge, on 01/11/2009, -5/+8Let's not jump to mocking them too quickly. People make mistakes.
- katerpilar, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3These past few days?
- Lockhart, on 01/12/2009, -0/+3You don't have to be a ninja to escape from that shed. 3 hours is a pretty *****' long time...
- publiclurker, on 01/12/2009, -0/+3The wall's on a shed are not bullet proof, anyone getting close enough to look with a mirror would probably find out the hard way if there was someone in the shed.
I'm surprised a city that large didn't have access to one of those remote robots. It would seem you could check things out rather quickly with one. - SolituSneiku, on 01/12/2009, -0/+3Where does Oprah come in this?
- ajmccoll, on 01/11/2009, -1/+4Over 9,000 penises.
- MentalRay, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2He must of revealed himself to her for decoy purposes.
- Blandyman, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2Past few days?
- nttechguy, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2Maybe he's a Jumper...
- AboveandBeyond, on 01/11/2009, -1/+3yea...but imagine when they hear about this...
- GMH24, on 01/12/2009, -2/+4You sound like a Bigot to me.
