youtube.com — This is certainly one of the stranger videos I've come across...while obviously not real, quite a bit of effort seems to have been put in to making this alternate view of plant life.

I know there are some crazy plants, but none with ***** arms. not to mention the description... wow. stupidity amazes me sometimes.

    I think the point at least some of us are trying to make isn't that these plants aren't real (come on, who'd be as stupid as to think they were?), but rather that they don't even look real. I'd have to agree - the animation is fairly well done, but the movements look far too artificial and the textures too plasticy-smooth.

    Of course, realistic looks might have never been the goal here. Then again, it might have, in which case people are more than justified in commenting that "OMG that's so fake". Either way, if you don't like a comment, just block&bury and spare us the irony.
