- ekso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Someone should place the link to the original photographer:

Most of those pictures were shown in Prague during 2006 summer. - GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+30The best articles on Digg are articles where the creator doesn't even know about Digg. All this Kotaku / Apple Rumor ***** pisses me off. Sites that have "Digg This!" on them shouldn't be allowed on Digg.
Look at your average site that has "Digg This!" on it. Look at the number of ads, the bias, etc. Then look at a "real" website. Less ads, better content...
@trashcat
It works. Click a comment that says "www.duggmirror.com" in it in the comments some time, 90% of the time it works
@anarchyx67
Why should we care if our site goes down because of Digg or because of regular traffic? With Digg you get real users who care about the content on your page. What better way to max out your $3.20 a year hosting plan? - micahwilli, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21The Digg effect is actually kinda getting annoying.
Places should start promoting their sites as "Digg Compatible"
Anyone have a mirror?
Edit: Oh, thanks @mikefitz2 - tical2756, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14what are mots?
- cybe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Very annoying. Over half of the links I've checked out on Digg have been dead and w/o duggmirror.

- Scottamus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10MOTS - Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith is the expansion pack for the first person shooter Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. It was released January 31, 1998.
MOTS - (either modified or modifiable off-the-shelf, or military off-the-shelf, depending on the context) product is typically a COTS product whose source code can be modified. The product may be customized by the purchaser, by the vendor, or by another party to meet the requirements of the customer. In the military context, MOTS refers to an off-the-shelf product that is developed or customized by a commercial vendor to respond to specific military requirements. Because a MOTS product is adapted for a specific purpose, it can be purchased and used immediately. However, since MOTS software specifications are written by external sources, government agencies are sometimes leery of these products, because they fear that future changes to the product will not be in their control.
Mots - french for 'word'
Mots - a new portmanteau of 'many' and 'lots' created by out genius submitter.
Mots - someone typing 'most' too quickly - rudy23, on 10/12/2007, -8/+16picture that defines my world

- neszis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7"Words" in french. Does it make sense now?
- dracostimpy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7You're at the wrong altiude to see the mots.
- darkseven, on 10/12/2007, -10/+15very nice photos
- jswan, on 10/12/2007, -7/+12Awesome! These pictures were posted before, but the website was devastated by the traffic. Only about 4 or 5 pictures were left standing after the digg effect. I'm very glad to see these finally.
BTW Firefox spell check doesn't the word digg? - Barman, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9Breathtaking photos. Great find!
- NeoPlatonist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I gave it a digg for the amazing photos. I wish I could give it another digg for not linking to a blog with 3 sentences about how awesome these pictures are.
- hockeysmurf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Was hoping to see a giant crop circle in one of the photos.
- mmgreenmms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The photo with the beached boats reminded me of Half-Life 2.

I'm pretty sure that last picture is from Yellowstone National Park. - IHUsol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@siroro
Yes thanks! Amazing shots. Does anyone know where that last photo was taken? - daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It also accepts mots.

- lidor7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I own the book, it's pretty awesome. Includes captions about where each photo was taken. You can get it on Amazon for relatively cheap: http://www.amazon.com/Earth-Above-Third-Yann-Arthus-Bertrand/dp/081095947X/sr=8-1/qid=1172261099/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-3482658-2063106?ie=UTF8&s=books
- thisisbs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Where is that one picture with that golden statue? Is that in Paris?
- spedmyster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its amazing how mad I got after the picture of the rainforest deforestation.
- blahtastic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4There aren't any left this time..Google cache seemed to get em though. EDIT: I lied, sites back. Still, if it goes google has it. http://duggmirror.com/offbeat_news/Pictures_that_define_the_world#c5379685 click google (is there a short URL for google cache? the one i have is rather unsightly)

he must have been so excited when he submitted this story - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I saw most of them using that filepimp.com link above, but it's host pulled the site while I was looking at them
- djshinodalp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Amazing pictures!! Hope our world stays this beautiful for ages to come...

- skarlin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The interchange is the 101 and the 110 looking to the southeast.

That totally looks like my elementary school playground. - MSTK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Give them a break. The page is consisted of several high resolution images. That's a lot of bandwidth per user.
- beerunifies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@siroro
thanks! that last picture is ***** amazing, i would love to own a copy - my room is so bare and minimal now :( - bbdream8, on 12/07/2008, -0/+1Great pictures! Magnificent is the word to describe it

- interg12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yes yes, i submitted it too quickly without spell checking. This is just the first sign of the rapture.
- Daniel001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those are some of the nicest pictures I've seen on digg. It's a shame that only some of them have captions, I would have liked to have known where all of them were taken.
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The link works, and there are pictures, yet people still digg you down... wow people, press the GREEN one!
