Pictures: 10-Ft. Tall Mosaics Made Entirely From Post-it Notes
cnn.com — For most people, Post-it Notes are disposable, ordinary office papers used for note-taking and reminders. But for 19-year-old David Alvarez of Leavenworth, Washington, they were the perfect medium for a 10-foot-tall mosaic depicting Ray Charles.

Kid you had me then you lost me! - CheddarBot, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Lack of originality. This has been done a hundred times before.
Buried. - scrimaxinc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Take any picture, open it in photoshop, and add a mosaic effect. Then use that as a guide and put up post-its. This doesn't seem all that difficult to me, but I guess it looks pretty cool.
- LondonDude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Not too difficult if you know how to use photoshop, but think of the time and effort
- TetchyTony, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1When I lectured in York (the 'Old' one) I got students to affix their break-time comments on themes with 'Post-It' Notes on the walls. They hadn't told me the walls had silicone anti-graffiti paint (well you know what York students are like). So as I turned back to evaluate, those Notes cascaded progressively like falling leaves. Much hilarity - did we invent kinetic art?
- MetaMars, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1One industrial fan...that's all it would take. >:)
- lilaliend, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yes, this isn't very original, creative, or difficult at all. Pixellating an image in photoshop, then copying those pixels as paper is almost as simple as just drawing a picture using a stencil.
- PRlME, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1been there done that this "idea" is not original.
- benihime, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0people use guevaras picture like he is some hero....people who think that are stupid... as soon as i saw che i didnt care anymore what the kid did.... to me he just sucks all together now....
- thespudmall, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Why do that when you can completely cover someone's car with them?
