Some of these pictures are just ridiculous, but some of them are nothing compared to some of the ladder work I've had to do. They make it clear to you that if you aren't cut out for it, they'll find someone else who is.

    It's most likely just a phone or cable line. It's done quite often.

    Ladders are like stilts, you can become quite skilled on them.

    Some of them are stretching it a bit far. Like the one with the makeshift framing built on top the garbage truck, and the guy in swimming pool using a corded electric drill.

For instance, the one with the ladders and the ladder rack with the guy passing something to the guy in the window. nothing wrong with that, its just scary. And the ladder layed across the church roof, how else are they supposed to do it?

    A good friend of mine works for the Ontario Ministry of Labour's Occupational Health And Safety group and believe me when I tell you that I've seen things in his notes that are far more idiotic than what is in these pictures. It would not surprise me one bit if these pictures were all legit.

I've been there before and sometimes the job needs to get done no matter what. They all have that "can do" attitude. Although at their next evaluation I'm sure that their safety marks may be a little low...
