""So far we cannot explain the snow, which is oily to the touch and has a pronounced rotten smell," said Omsk environmental prosecutor Anton German, quoted by the Russian news agency Itar-Tass on Thursday. "

- Eccohawk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Snow Cone, anyone?
- pupkind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5According to this http://lenta.ru/news/2007/02/02/snow3, the color of the snow comes from the dust particles, which in turn come from a dust storm that got sucked into an upper atmosphere few days ago from a territory of Kazakhstan. Extensive testing did not reveal any chemical, toxic or radioactive components in the snow. Just the dust.
- josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Actually... I heard it Tastes like TANG orange flavored snow... MMMMMmmm
