- silverchrysalis, on 10/11/2007, -5/+250@haphazard- it said 'in loving memory'
she won't be seeing that, God rest her poor twisty-faced soul... - allmarsh, on 10/11/2007, -2/+215In loving memory of that tattoo artist's career.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+205Whoever took that picture got it all wrong. It looks nothing like the tattoo.
- TheCash, on 10/11/2007, -34/+165Not much love went into that tattoo.
Actually, I'm pretty tired of these 'in loving memory' this and that all over the place these days. Tattoo's, graffiti tags, the backs of car windows... keep your grief to yourselves people, have a little dignity, or at least realize that 99 percent of the people who see them are gonna go 'who?' and then promptly forget about it. - schniff, on 10/11/2007, -4/+120A good tattoo ain't cheep, and a cheep tattoo ain't good.
- Willow01, on 10/11/2007, -1/+109You know you can always use a cheese grater to take it off.
- zzz@tkz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+105I think this comment on Flickr summed it up pretty well
'At what point did that tattoo artist think "Oh, *****..."?' - SultanTravi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+88I apologize if this was posted already by someone else, but it's actually part of the artist's gallery. What an idiot!

- puzzlesource, on 10/11/2007, -2/+76Looks like a devilish kung fu master from some random asian movie.
- ycohain, on 10/11/2007, -1/+74does anyone notice that asides from the huge nose and rotting teeth, it also looks like it says "in loving memony"?
- PixelVision, on 10/11/2007, -2/+71"Hey, can you give me this, but as a corpse?"
- Abennobashi, on 10/11/2007, -5/+73Show me your GRILLZ
- Hepburn82, on 10/11/2007, -1/+69Not a fan of tattoos anyway, but that's one of the worst I've ever seen. Imagine being stuck with that ugly troll on your arm for the rest of your days. Never mind the tattoo artist, I'd hate to be the victim right now.
- rabidjade, on 10/11/2007, -5/+56But hey, the tattoo artist did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
- sockpuppets, on 10/11/2007, -1/+51Looks like memong to me.
Oddly, when one searches "memong" on google images, gets this. Coincidence? I think not.

- Mandeep, on 10/11/2007, -4/+51shes probably a tranny
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+46"(a rare female digger)"
Sorry, but those went extinct late 2006 after spending ages struggling within the ranks of the endagered species list. - Sepeteus, on 10/11/2007, -1/+44@drgnpaladin
He's not going to have her back. And with that tattoo he's not going to get married ever again. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -14/+52owned

http://www.ontheedgetattoo.com/Images/Tattoos/Dennis/Fulls/tobesmom-wm.jpg - misterjangles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+33This artist has some technical skills, but lacks that tricky ability to capture the essence of the subject. You can have a caricature done at the park where, if the artist is good, your head is an exaggerated cartoon character - but it still manages to capture you perfectly.
This artist focused on trying to exactly reproduce all the shadows instead of using artistic license to bring out her good features. Unfortunately when you go that route "close" doesn't count. If you're gonna go technical, it has to be perfect, or it turns out weird and creepy like this tattoo. - mumbler, on 10/11/2007, -0/+32Logging in solely to digg that up.
- mccrusc, on 10/11/2007, -2/+31Yeah, but, honestly, That hotness has nothing to do with the tattoo
- ike368, on 10/11/2007, -4/+33@thecash:
people are digging you down, but even though it sounds mean, i think you're right. in my neighborhood, there's a lot of graffitti "in loving memory" of people which basically looks pretty horrible.
it's not that i'm against memorials to loved ones, just that some of them could use a little more thought and uh.. tact.?
i think with more work they could be a lot more meaningful and a lot less depressing - EvilFerret, on 10/11/2007, -0/+27At least he had the balls to *finish* it.... Once I realized how badly I ***** up, I would excuse myself to the restroom and never come back. If I were drunk I would probably try to scribble it out and start fresh right below it :)
- sockpuppets, on 10/11/2007, -0/+27Ok now it's definitely not a coincidence, this is proof of God's mysterious ways, because that image was cached from:

- zzz@tkz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+24Haha, you win.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22"Cheap"
- rebopper, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18I know a girl that has a tattoo of a kitten on her shoulder. The artist misspelled meow so it says, "MOEW."
- AAEXP, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18and the nose, the neck, the tiara, and the wrinkles(!?!?) on her cheek, the eyes, the the handwriting above and below it
- cblalock, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17@pifko
*****. - pixelate, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17I don't see what the big deal is. someone really likes E. Honda, woohoo
- JHaze, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18have fun with that for the next REST OF YOUR LIFE
- number9ine, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16I spent like three hours shading her upper lip.
- Ladymongoose, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13As an illustrator myself, i can tell you that the LAST thing you EVER do is insert the lines in teeth...it just ends up looking..well.....BAD
The artist (i use that term loosely) spent way too much time working onthe detail in the tiara and the hair- i think he knew he just couldn't do the face right and was hoping the guy wouldn't notice...doh! - Rfriaz, on 10/11/2007, -5/+17That image has obviously been manipulated with GIMP GNU Image Manipulation Program.
I'm pretty sure I'm legally free to say "That image has been gimped" but everyone's head would explode. - silverchrysalis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13it looks like someone smacked her in the face with a pyrex baking dish.
portrait art is difficult, unless highly skilled- do not attempt. - bry0000000, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Wow. He must have really loved her..
- TheGreenBastard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12New guerrilla marketing campaign for "28 Weeks Later"
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+17I am with TheCash on this "In loving memory" crap all over the place. It is all hollow crocodile tears after a while, especially on cars and other items that will get replaced.
It seems like one can't drive a mile in Tampa without seeing a stupid roadside memorial with stuffed animals, flowers, posters, etc. Someone actually put a large ceramic angle in one and someone took it. The people were upset that it was taken, but they left it on public property, basically abandoning it. And, that memorial has been there for years. That stuff belongs in a cemetery, not on the road side. I didn't know them and I think it's an eyesore. Quit pushing your grief on everyone else. Quit milking it for all it's worth.
And, I have a question for all you people with "In loving memory" decals on your cars. When your car is wrecked or worn out, are you just going to forget about the person you are memorializing? Will you peal that decal off when you sell it or trade it in? Not a very lasting memorial is it? - Al3x, on 10/11/2007, -8/+19He did this one, it's hot as *****
http://www.ontheedgetattoo.com/Images/Tattoos/Dennis/Fulls/ribswirls-wm.jpg - stephant, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13Dear god man, learn to trace. Seriously, this is permanent. You would think this fool has at least seen one episode of Miami Ink and learned how they make them look perfect.
- BrotherGA2, on 10/11/2007, -5/+16@hepburn82 (#6699380)
FOR THE HORDE!
Hey--at least it's an easy conversion to a WoW tattoo. - antonio97b, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Looks like the tattoo "artist" was thinking about the "haha guy" picture that circles the tubes when he was doing the teeth.
(haha guy) http://www.hetemeel.com/archive/haha%20Im%20creating%20dynamic%20IMAGES!!1!.jpg - jiggawoot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Earlier tonight I was having a conversation with my gf, she was talking about how she wants to learn to tattoo, and said that she wanted to do her first one on her own leg, then maybe ask some friends to volunteer their body to the cause. When I told her that I would not be one of those volunteers and perhaps she could practice on a few legs of pork, she got more than a little offended.
I think this pic will suffice quite nicely to get me out of the dog house. - champsampson, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Comment on Flickr: (Samboomba)
...the tattoo version of her looks like Lester from [Nintendo] Skate or Die! Just tilt the image a bit... -
